Collecting Hells Angels memorabilia isn't for the meek

- Collector Bo Bushnell has been gathering biker gang memorabilia for years, including numerous Hells Angels jackets, documents, patches and photographs. As he’s learned, it’s not an easy, or safe, thing to do. But even death threats haven't stopped him from doing what he sees as important work.

He doesn't but ok
I doubt that.
@Your Name The true modern day Hell's Angels (soliders) have a shelf life just like milk...they may last a couple of months but in the end everything turns sour and the lucky ones just fade away...the corporate Hell's Angels just keep selling their bullshit made in China and racking up that paper...Drugs, sex slaves and lawlessness is just a cowards way of life, no morals, no values and hardly anything to aspire to. The originals were WW2 vets that got used to the adrenaline rush of facing death on a daily basis...men of war that were no longer fit for "polite society" and had no where to vent their PTSD...but those guys did not try to cripple the country they fought for by pimping out their buddies daughters or selling dope to kids.
@Your Name he likely has far more rare memorabilia than any club...
Usually these one-percenter clubs don't let anything with their logos on it get out to the public, so how this guy was able to acquire all this stuff is rather mind-boggling. It also makes him a target too, and going through life constantly looking over your shoulder is no way to live.
@Nate Upson Even if it can get you killed?
He's explained on his IG page more than once that many of the items he's received are from old timers that felt their clubs had forgotten or had forsaken them.

City I lived in years ago, had a Chapter across from where we lived. Everyone in the area knew it. Barricaded and fortified like Fort Knox with security cameras. Never once did we have cars vandalized, houses broken into or any trouble at all. Those guys kept to themselves and were always polite to all older people in the neighborhood when leaving their Clubhouse. They had a bad rep' nationally, but the folks who lived on the same street never had a bad word against them.
Did you know they were the crowd control for the first Woodstock?
@@thehobo-tographer7652 Nope, Didn't know that.
There’s a clubhouse in my neighborhood too. We notice something odd.. seems like it’s could be an underground gay night club too.
That's quite common. They don't want to attract any complaints from the neighbours or it will draw heat. I knew a guy from a gang I won't name. Helped him out just like I would any other neighbour. Even wandered into their clubhouse one day to give him posters for his lost dog. You have to keep them at arms length though. He's inside now, got busted for supplying meth.
Al Capone also had neighbors that minded their own business...as did the Mafia crime families of New York....just a bunch of loveable ole knuckleheads...just like the Crips and the Bloods of South central LA...just boys being boys...WTFE

@@ducatipaso1386 I’m confused at your reply. The club owns all those patches. So even if you are a patched in member, you do not own that patch. The club does. You can’t just have a bunch of death heads In your house if you aren’t a member
@@MrPlaidFace you aren’t understanding what I’m saying 2+2 ≠ green. My first reply to the original comment was about the reason he was in hiding. It wasn’t because he has different club property under one roof, it’s because he doesn’t own the shit he has, stay with me here, it is the CLUBS PROPERTY. As in, they own it. Again, if the stuff that he had in his possession was stuff that said “support your local red and white”, that’s one thing. You can go to any website as a normal person and buy support gear, stickers, shirts etc. but, as a non member you can’t just wear a death head around. IT HAS TO SAY SUPPORT ON IT, in order to wear it. He can respect the history all he wants to. He does not own the stuff! The club does, and him not being a member, the club (I’m talking HA in particular) takes that shit extremely serious. Again, you can be a fully patched member, and you still do not own the patch you wear. THE CLUB DOES, and they can take it from you whenever they want to!
All they gotta do is get your info through the producers to collect their stuff back. Give them their stuff back man.
One day. He's got no right to it
Give who the stuff back? Some of these clubs aren't even around anymore.
My dad rode with the Hells Angels back in the day. He wasn’t a member he just had friends in the group. He wasn’t in any biker gangs. Anyway, my mom lived in a trailer park when I was small and daddy would stay over at times they would all be drinking and playing cards etc. there was always motorcycles at our house. I guess my dad pissed off some bikers and they come through the park and shot up moms trailer luckily none of us got hit. But that trailer still sits there to this day and the bullet holes still in it. Grandpa tried filling them in but you can still see them. I’m 54 now and I was probably 3-4 years old then. The memories of dad and his biker buddies such great memories. Other than shooting up the trailer 😂
