For more than a decade, Tommy Baker has led a group of week-end bikers on rides literally all across America. Along the way, he decided they should call themselves "The Ice Cream Men From Hell." He designed a patch and gave the 'colors' to the riders he thought were worthy. They weren't an official Motorcycle Club, but maybe - one day - they'll try. That day has finally arrived. Baker put together the quintessential biker journey - a biker boot camp - to see if he and his buddies had what it takes to be a real Motorcycle Club - an M.C. - an American M.C. Getting seventeen men, from all walks of life and three states together is the first mission - and it doesn't go smoothly. Once they do all meet up and start riding together - five minutes in, one of them goes down.

I was heading to Cali one day and I was driving through some deserts in Arizona when a large group of motorcycles was approaching through the rearview. They were riding in a very organized formation and when they passed by, it was the real hell's angels. It was cool to see in real life

It was the same group of men even after they took off their Patch in favour of the plain Denim Cuts. The 81 were all from Show Low Arizona. Here’s a fact we aren’t in the “Documentary” The President Show Low Rick passed away. Richard “Show Low Rick” Laakman 60, passed away March 5,2016. Robert. “Chico” Mora has also passed away January 1,2014 at age 58. Both men can be seen in the movie based on Sonny Barger’s Book Dead In 5 Heartbeats. This 7 years old given Mora passed in 2014.

When I was in a MC, the state police protocol was NOT to pull over groups of two or more without back up.
They would look for groups of my exs MC the real 81 and pull them over for stupid shit but never said anything about riding 90mph down the interstate.. they just wanted pictures of the members and supporters in the group. And I live in Arizona, the same county as these RUBS
Exactly! I live in Detroit and same thing a cop by himself with not pull over a car with 2 or more ppl especially ppl in back seat also. One time I was driving and had three other ppl in my car and I new I was in trouble cause I was driving no insurance and this cop followed me and didn’t flick me until back came

Sometime in the mid to late 60's my Mother driving & 4 kids in the car I95N. A Bunch of HA went by us & my baby brother was pointing to them, laughing. They waved goodbye at him. So funny! They have such a bad rap but I've been helped a couple times along the side of the road by one of these men!!!

Seeing these guys ride makes it easy to understand why most people hate encountering big motorcycle groups like this on the highway: the motorcyclists tend to be very arrogant, like they own the road. They like to be loud and obnoxious and "hey, everybody, look at me!"

No Hell’s Angels were pulled over in the video. The video is old because Sholow Rick (President of the 81 Chapter) passed away a number of years ago. This video is from 2015-2016.

It's called speeding 😂 it's literally what they get paid for it's not harassment and as a police officer I can tell you that speeding is a big deal I do it everyone does it you just have to be willing to pay for it but what I mean is that in almost 90% of the accidents I've seen they all have to do with speeding and it gets worse with motorcycles because they're not as visible as larger vehicles and they don't have a lot of the same safety features so if your speeding you have less time to react to the a****** in front of you who switches Lanes without looking at a blind spot to see there's a motorcycle there

I used to get TONS of grief about that and my spelling in the Corps and later as a teacher but for some reason since signing with the DOC no-one has mentioned it..other than RUclips😂 I do try-ish I lost my hand at the wrist in Afghanistan so I usually just dictate which leads to misspellings words that seemed out of context excetera. I thought the reason you take long rides on a motorcycle is so you can take in all the scenery and enjoy the outdoors without having to be in a rush. Why would you want to speed through your ride and miss everything around you? Bikers have to be the most braindead people on earth
It's a pity they target you guys. I wear a uniform (but work Security) and the other night while driving to work I found myself surrounded by a biker group that is almost as 'notorious' as the Angels. I waved and smiled at them and wondered if any of them knew my Son which used to be in a support club for those guys... All I could think was those are just guys who have families, Mom's and Sisters who love them just as many other groups are. If more people wearing a uniform no matter what type would just remember that fact, more bikers and cops would be alive. Just sayin'...
The Hell's Angels and several other motor cycle clubs are, in fact, organized crime syndicates engaged in a variety of criminal activities. Of course they have families, just like the members of the Mafia have families. That doesn't mean they aren't also criminals.
Now, if these men want to play dress up like criminals and ride in groups like the criminal gangs, can you blame the police if they can't tell them apart?

You are right. not Hells Angels. I started Biking in my 50's. No club or groups, just me on my Goldwing. When I ran into a club at gas stations or rest areas, I was always treated with respect. But had to take jokes about my bike. How many miles to a pound of rice, Dollar store special etc. Was never asked to join the ride, but would be friendly and talkative when stopped. Ran into HA a few times and was the same.
I ran into so many clubs, I had a painter pinstriped Hardly-A-Davidson on my bags. That brought a few chuckles.
When I wanted a bike, wanted a Harley. My wing cost me $5000. A comparable Harley was $15000 and didn't have those kinds of bucks.
Used to ride with all HD's. My Gold Wing Aspencade 1100 had a radiatoer & twin electric fans to cool it. HD's were air cooled. There was a road block up ahead. We all had to wait in line. The HD's started to overheat. My bike stayed cool. Many pulled over, shut down and took off leathers due to the heat! Later that week, one of my buddies told me his HD bike got a warped head from that day. I just chuckled and said " Gold Wing Baby !"

I have belonged to a motorcycle club since 1991. The club founded in 1919. It chartered with the American Motorcyclist Association in 1926. Our club doesn’t behave anything like this.
My grandmother's uncle was in that motorcycle club he even wrote a book about it made several copies

I remember riding coast to coast in a group and let me tell you. It was nothing like this.....
In Ohio they generally don't start looking at you until you are 11 miles over the speed limit as long as the posted speed limit is 55 or over. . They can ticket you but no points against the license or raised insurance premiums.
In the "democracy" of Australia you can get fined just for wearing club colours.....no joking.
Seems like a strange law, not a bad thing to wear colors for the law abiding riders and for criminals it just points them out as criminals and part of a criminal organization which I imagine Australia has similar laws to the US RICO laws.
