Hi Jules, you have so many followers now that you'll probably never see this, but in case you do, it's been really helful to do daily stretches. Sometimes I have to modify them so I'm not bending my back but by tightening my abs and keeping my back straight, I still get a good stretch. I'm still doing my daily plank before stretching, so thank you!

Well, that was interesting! I have been doing the chair stretches for sometime now so I am familiar with your stretch routine. I was reluctant to try the floor because it’s so difficult getting up from the floor. However, after months of regular exercise I am stronger now. I got up from the floor without a problem (and fewer grunts and groans).

I ended my day with this stretching exercise. It was so relaxing, the music is soothing. I closed my eyes for most of the workout. I will definitely try your other stretching exercises from now on.

I progressed and completed your INTERVAL SERIES 1&2 and started SERIES 3. I lost weight during this time and more importantly was able to move a lot more easily and felt so much happier and positve. This is a very good stretching regime. I'm kind of sore all over since starting Series 3. Have to adjust my pace when I do Day 5 tomorrow. Thanks, Jules.
It's quite common to feel a bit sore about interval training. It's targeting the muscles differently due to the fast pace. Definitely cater it to your level. With just stretching today, you should be ready for the workout tomorrow but take an extra day off (or do a 20 minute workout) if you are still sore.

Hi! I don't write the calories down since we all burn calories at a different rate. As for sweating, I have lots of lights on me so it gets pretty hot!

Should I do the dancing/ walking exercises first prior to the stretching exercises or vice versa? Thank you in advance for your response. Take care. Hi Jean! It's definitely best to do the cardio workouts before stretching to ensure your body is loosened up, and warmed up. It's totally okay to do the stretches on the bed and you should still get the same benefits. It's great that you are focusing on maintaining flexibility. I also have lots of seated stretches in the 'stretching' playlist if you want to try some other ones.

I was quite flexible as a kid, too...so it's partly genetics. I think if you try to take 5-10 minutes to stretch every day, you'll start to see a positive change.

Hi, in the future, if you can't do some of the exercises, please don't hit the 'thumbs down'. It tells the algorithms that you don't like the video, and then RUclips thinks people don't like it. From what you mentioned, it's not that you didn't like the video, it's because the exercises weren't suitable for you. I have lots of seated stretching routines that I hope do work for you and that I hope you'll enjoy.
