    Jules, I did this last night before bed and was able to get up this morning and make my bed.....something I want to do as soon as I wake up but I'm usually so stiff that I can't until later in the morning......feeling waaay more limber after a restful night....this HAS to be my before bed routine....thank you for a great stretch and quiet music..lovely.

    I am really appreciating the seated exercising. While I am not quite a senior, I have a foot injury. Being seated still allows me to exercise without putting any pressure on my foot. Thank you!

Even though I market my channel to seniors, it is definitely suitable for all ages of people who want to start slowly with exercise. The intermediate workouts can be challenging, even for people in their 20's if they are new to exercise. One day, one step at a time.❤️

    Thank you so much for this! I'm in my 50s, overweight, and recovering from a knee injury. There was only one move I was unable to do, so I modified it. It was the best seated yoga I have found yet!

    Hi from Italy. I want to thank you very much for this and all the other videos you have made with chair exercises! I already followed you with the standing videos and then I wrote to you that I have had 3 major back operations and am 67% disabled because I have 3 rods of titanium and 26 screws. Because my doctor said it is better not to do standing exercises anymore, I have been following your chair exercise programs for a month now. (7 days of training, stretching and total training) And they are fantastic! I feel good, I have become more flexible and above all my neurosurgeon and my therapist are very satisfied, because I have clearly improved (it can also be seen on the X-rays). Thank you again and don't stop making new chair exercise videos!
    (Question: have you also made a video with more glutes exercises? Because I often sit, I would like to train those muscles)

      I have included some glute exercises within the various seated workouts, but I can't remember which videos they are in. As for making new videos, I will get back to adding seated ones again on the new channel. I've just been a bit swamped with life outside of YT (I work full-time and have two pre-teen girls). I'll create new ones when I can.

      I've worked with seniors for 18 years and when Covid hit, I felt like a lot of seniors wouldn't feel safe going out (plus gyms and community centers were closed) and I didn't want seniors getting less mobile. Plus, I also didn't find much for seniors online when I looked and I knew it was something I could create and provide. And, I'm not that young...turned 50 last month. My kids tell me I'm old.😉

    These chair exercises help me so much. 4 years out fro a 4th back surgery and still have pain. Making progress with that, so can start exercising. These are perfect for me. Have weak left leg, core and foot drop.

    Wow, this was wonderful. This slow seated stretch is just what I needed. It really got into some "nooks and crannies" that needed a gentle wake up. I'm dealing with neck/hip/lower back issues (from a car accident) and put in some complaining knees makes many videos undoable for me, so being seated was very helpful for me. I could focus and slow controlled movement, with little worry of "tweaking" something. I do wish the little bell went off with each movement, since sometimes I would just close my eyes. But glad it was there for many of them - it was a nice touch. Thank you for this video.

I'm sometimes afraid of the bell annoying people so I only use it when I feel it's definitely needed, but I think I need to start including it regularly when a stretch is completed.     Update about my fall two months ago. I am still in some pain. This bruised one takes 4 months to recover from I am told..Ouch!!!!! Along with my physical therapy exercises I am doing your 20 minute stretch video. I find that I get up with a lot of pain and after I do all my exercise and a heating pad I feel better. You are so right, As we age we need to stretch more. You and your videos have been such a help to me. I can't thank you enough.

    I like the holding position for 30 seconds and that you do the neck last! Many stretch programs do the neck first when it's at its tightest!

    Hi Jules☀️I just had foot surgery and I am so grateful to find your chair stretching routine. The sequence, length of each movement and the music is perfect.     Thanks for all your wonderful classes. I did the 10 min walk followed by a seated stretching class as I am recovering from a lower back strain. Any tips on preventing such an injury would be greatly appreciated. I am 61 years young. I also enjoyed reading your article on people with advanced dementia as my 89 year old father suffers from this condition. Many thanks Margaret

As for lower back pain, from all the research I read is continue to move and exercise and definitely stretch. I am creating a new chair exercise class on covering lower back exercises, too.

    I love your Chair Stretches video for Seniors! I love the music and that you do not talk through the stretches. I have recommended it to a number of my friends. The wonderful thing about this video is that it can also be a form of meditation. The only problem that we have is having to keep our eyes on the tv to know when to change positions. The beeps you have on some the stretches is so helpful in keeping us in that peaceful state of mind. Would it be possible to add that to all the stretches?

    Just tried the 10 minute strength training. Loved it!!!!! Then it went into the ab training for 10 minutes and I did that one too and then went to the 20 minute stretch video. That made my workout for today complete. I love that you have such a variety of videos. It was the first time I tried the ab and strength training videos. I will so them again. I feel like I go into a candy store every day looking for a new treat. So much to choose from, and according to how much time you want to spend that day , you can work it out. Thank you sooooo much for helping us old folks out. You are a treasure!!!!!!

    I knew my back was weak but this really tested the strength of my back, thanks to that it makes me feel like I'm sometimes a senior citizen xD
    Thoroughly enjoyed doing the stretches (almost fell asleep halfway through). This will be now a new routine to my day!

    Friday is one of my busy exercise days. Fast 3 1/2 mile walk, stationary bike for 25 minutes and 20 minutes on cardio machines. Your stretches if done at the end of the day is the cherry on top. Thanks for this session which has a definite flow. Charlie in Syracuse NY

    I've been having lower back pain for a few weeks, probably from working in the garden. Nothing I did was helping to relieve the pain so I decided to try this workout again. After 3 days my back is really starting to feel better. Thanks so much Jules.

    I really enjoyed this routine, and found it refreshing that it's just your visual instructions and text, rather than speech. It felt like a much more peaceful, internal.experience because it was just soothing music and my own breath. Straightforward stretches, but deceptively challenging, at an appropriate level.     I've been alternating between the stretching one day and seated cardio the next. I also have been working in my garden. I love this session and I think it's helping my achy knees. Next I want to add some strength training.

      That sounds great! Have you tried the knee osteoarthritis video? Even if you don’t have osteoarthritis, the exercises would strengthen the muscles around your knees.     I'd love to see more sitting stretching videos with audio queues when to switch the pose, such as a little beep, so I can close my eyes and relax during the 30 seconds :) Love your channel!!

      I have done this once or twice a day for four days now and really love the relaxing stretches. I also love the quiet music! One tiny suggestion: add the beeps at the end of every exercise so that I can just close my eyes and take it all in. Thanks for getting me stretching again!

    I was looking for a full body seated stretch workout as I can longer do floor work. This was super and much appreciated. I workout daily but have not done enough stretching, I'm an octogenarian and keeping active is important to me. Many thanks for this.

    I did the complete Day 1 lose weight workout, which was a challenge that was great, so I felt I really needed a stretch. My only problem....unique to me?....the leg stretch where you extend your leg out front with toes pointed up, and then toes down. I got cramps on both my right and left side when I stretched my toes down. Your workouts are upbeat and encouraging. Thank you.

      Hmm, it could be from dehydration or lack of flexibility in those areas. Please ensure you drink enough throughout the day and try to be gentle with the stretches...only stretch to a point where it feels good for you. I hope that helps:)
