Thanks for all your delicious recipes and information about the foods. My doctor wanted me on this diet due a liver problem and high cholesterol. With cholesterol medication and this diet my cholesterol went from 287 to 148 in less than 3 months and I've also lost 10 lbs. I also eat whenever I want. Of course, eating healthy foods from this diet and never feeling hungry between meals.

These all sound amazing! Thank you😊 Also, I have the cookbook and have taken the Weightloss program and the Mediterranean Way program as well. I highly highly recommend all of them! I had incredible results from the weightloss program and was honestly never hungry. Also, I don’t have any social media other than my RUclips account so you can definitely still be successful on the weightloss program without joining the Facebook group. If you’ve been on the fence, just do it😊

I just came back from Italy and the Italians don’t eat salty breakfast or eggs. A cornetto with a caffe is what I have seen the most.

Are you sure? Were you visiting family and friends or were you eating at hotels/cafes/restaurants? The later may be serving breakfasts that cater to feeding a host of patrons from different backgrounds. I eat steel cut oatmeal for breakfast with cinnamon, a splash maple syrup, nuts and bananas along with blueberries, but if you go to a restaurants you would assume people eat eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash browns every day, however I would say that type of breakfast is a treat rather than an exception.

Cheese has a lot of fat. I was told by a nutritionist for anyone who wants to lose weight, drop the cheese, nuts, and peanut butter.

I wouldn’t want to live in a world without cheese. I’d rather be fat.

That is an older way of thinking. You need healthy fats, protein, and fiber with every meal and snack. And eating too many nuts can be an issue with some people. Everything in moderation. Having too many nuts in your diet can sabotage your weight loss and your health. I eat almonds daily in my plain, full fat, greek yogurt, but it's a 1/4 cup, no more.
