Agreed, I have two school agreed children and my wife is a 3ed grade teacher. I hear about the lunch every day. Nacho chips and cheese sauce??? Processed meats, cold food, super high in salt and preservatives. We pack lunches but feel for the kids where this is the only meal that they have.

I think you mean the forever chemicals, the PFAS, cause a lot of the microplastics have been banned already from cosmetics in the United States. But yes, plastic should be replaced with eco friendly made materials that are biodegradable.

As a doctor, I have been watching Dr. Eric Berg's videos for many years and he is by far one of the most knowledgeable and well-respected doctors I know. We need to have him help USA become healthier. Best of luck to you Dr. Berg.

In the 1960's, my mother bought a book by, Adelle Davis, "Let's Have Healthy Children". I was constantly sick as a young boy, and my mother was looking for some answers, and she found them in that book. Davis was way ahead of her time, sounding the alarm about chemicals in our food. The number of additives then, was nothing compared to now, and after reading her very informative book, we became, "Food-Label" readers! My mother became an expert on vitamins, minerals, herbs and how all of those work together to fight disease. My health improved greatly, and so did the rest of my family, because of her zeal to educate every one about proper nutrition. My mother never went to college, but she had a lot of common sense. She passed away at age 88, my dad at 96, my nannie at 93, and rest of my grandparents were into their 80's. My mother bought all of Adelle's books, and she literally wore out the covers, using them as her health "bible". Thank God for mothers!
It's amazing what mothers will do for their children. We didn't start eating healthier until our children were born. We wanted to give them the best start in life, so I started reading books. One that ended up being my "health Bible" was Food Babe by Vani Hari. She was talking about all this stuff 15+ years ago. Those of us who've had our eye on this problem for a while are SUPER happy for any positive changes that come out of this.
@@Danig1rl One thing that is different back when I was a kid was, my mother didn't have to work, because my dad had a very good job with Dupont. The moms were at home taking care of the household and kids. Today, the school serves as the "parent", and not in a very good way. Parents today don't have the time to prepare food from scratch, using healthy ingredients (if any are to be found!) In the 3rd grade, my teacher gave us an assignment, to write a 2-3 page report on any subject of our choosing. Mine, was on the benefits of "juicing", vegetables, and fruits. Shortly thereafter during lunch time in the cafeteria, my teacher came to me with my report in hand, and asked me in front of all the kids at my table, "Did you write this all by yourself?" Her next question was, "do you really believe this"? I answered in the affirmative for both. She showed that report to every teacher in school! Again, this was in 1966 many years before the term, "health-nut" entered into the vernacular. I'm sure that those teachers, surely thought I was "fruitier" than a "nut-cake"! LOL 👌

They are some of my favorite people, and I highly respect them. 👊🏻 And my dad and a few of my brothers are engineers; I have a brother who studied to be an EMT but fell short on the physical test due to mild cerebral palsy when he was born, and my other two brothers work for a company that supplies all first responders. I agree with you. He is not an MD but he did get some kind of schooling to be a chiropractor . He is one of the only people out there that gives real information and advice on health and food.
I know for a fact that nursing homes, jails and prisons, schools, hospitals, and such give out over-processed, overcooked foods. I recently spoke to someone who is in jail for a short time, and they were giving not much more than peanut butter and crackers and apples. If they wanted something more, they had to buy it themselves. I used to volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program, and I know those foods that they deliver are just as bad. And now that it costs an arm and a leg for groceries, those who are poor can no longer afford to buy healthy, pasture-raised, organic. I was trying to go that route, but had to stop. The groceries are really eating into my budget. I do try to get fresh foods and cook from scratch as much as possible. Dr. Berg, I believe in everything you just said in this video. Keep putting these things out there. People need to be informed.
The new administration wants to do DEREGULATIONS, so how are they going to help you or the rest of us? Trump wants to deregulate all of it, including lifting restrictions on chemicals. He only looks for the interests of elitists.
Europe has no such restriction. I'm European-nearly all places that serve deep-fried or sautéd food use sunflower or rapeseed oil. Animal fat cooking is a rarity.
I was in a country in Europe who produces a lot of olive oil. I asked a restranteur which oil they use and was told vegetable oils because olive oil is too expensive. My husband and I rarely eat out. At home we know exactly what's in our meals. Good health to all 🤗

As a trauma surgeon. I worked in nursing homes as a nurse aide during 8yrs of medical school. The food we gave to our residents was shocking. The foods we give our hospital patients is ugh 😩. I wouldn’t feed my dog that stuff.

My family has a cattle ranch. Our cows are free range, grass fed and organic (although we haven’t been able to get official certification because of the red tape and expense.) We get zero subsidies, I believe another reason is the developers who have deep pockets wants to pressure us into selling like so many of our neighbors and other family ranchers and farmers in this area. The suburban sprawl is out of control even though you pass shopping center after shopping center with multiple shops, sometimes up to 80% vacancy and yet there goes another farm to build more. We cannot make a living ranching and we all have to have additional jobs on top of running the ranch. We also keep our calves with mamas at least a year. I found out recently that at the big corporate ranches the newborns aren’t even getting to get colostrum from the mother. They are separating mother and calf at birth and mechanically feeding. This is absolutely inhumane. Imagine going through the pain and struggle of childbirth and never getting to see your child. These and other despicable practices are being carried out and supported by our taxes. Put Our health and our nation back in our hands.

Try to grow something you love to eat. You can grow a mini lemon tree in your living room next to a sunny window. Even one plant will start you on a healthier life. Even if you live in the north pole, the desert or in a RV. I had some herbs in my RV.

Agreed. My 97 year old great aunt had been a “health food nut” for decades and was in excellent health. She fell and broke her hip; that was the beginning of the end since she went to rehab and ate the institutionalized foods. She quickly went downhill and died within 2 years.

Prescription costs are outrageous in the US. As a recently diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic, I was shocked at the price of insulin: $1250 a month for something the costs pennies to produce. Insulin shouldnt be considered a luxury item when we require it to survive.
Sharon is partially correct, you can manage it better eating healthy.. BUT I think your major issue would be your insurance. We didn't know until we switched insurances.. we used to have Anthem Blue Cross and paid nearly 400 everytime.. but now pay only 86 with Kaiser Permanente. Sounds like you use alot more insulin, he uses Lantus x2 12 units and takes 1-4 Humalog when eating... but I belive he has an off brand. Look into off brands too. If you didn't have that 1200 a month.. it's life or death.
Grow your own insulin plant. We need not be dependent upon the government to get things needed. Most medicines are a corrupted form of something God made. Just use the Creator's medicine...He made your body... He knows what is best for it. The insulin plant would also be a high seller in hard times.

I am a school lunchroom cook. It’s true things have gone downhill as far as nutrition goes in the lunch room. We did use to cook from scratch most foods. I have to say I am happy the kids from elementary to high school the kids are encouraged to take a fruit (fresh, banana, apple or orange, OR a vege bag with cucumber, carrots, and tomatoes. 🙏👍❤️
I'm a 71 year old male and I grew up on a farm and ranch in Texas. Beginning in the 1970s family farms had to grow significantly larger to get economy of scale and to benefit from federal government agriculture programs. Since then, corporate farms have grown while family farms have been squeezed. Like many Boomers from the farms I left for the "big city," and my mother sold the property after my father died. The land had been in the family for more than a century. The 300 acre farm and ranch property was purchased by a younger farmer who was growing his holdings trying to keep up. I could write more, but I think you get the picture. Bravo to Dr Berg... his diet and supplements advice has helped me tremendously.

I work at a middle school. Free breakfast, everything ends up in the trash other than pop tarts or danish. Milk, juice, applesauce and fruit all in the trash. Sooo much waste. Also kids sit in front of chromebooks/screens all day. No free time or physical activity unless they sign up for PE or dance for an elective. Also spent 3 weeks in hospital after a car accident. Food was horrible.

I believe RFK and you are correct 100 percent and I support you. I am a senior 72 years old 10 years ago I started experiencing severe head aches and found out I was eating to much junk food. Stopped eating french fries meat over processed foods like canned meats. I only ate blueberries, cold processed flax oil and cottage cheese for 6 weeks and finally the head aches went away. The world needs to ban oils that have life time shelf life and many other products that have harmful effects on our bodies.

Why do you think he is a nut job? A great book to read about vaccines is Dissolving Illusions by Dr. Suzanne Humphries. Vaccines are not the Savior a lot of people think. There is not one ingredient that builds health or immunity. It is a belief and a very dangerous one at that.
I grew up lower/middle class, and you’re almost forced to eat terrible processed foods. It’s more affordable and parents were always working, so the choices were slim. over the last few years I came to the realization that most of (if not all of) the issues I have with my body is because of it. I tell them, I'm not on any prescription medications. They can't believe it. I eat healthy, drink ONLY water everyday, listen to your advice and I move.. move.. move. Plus, I wash my hands. Yes, everybody that's reading this, please wash your hands. Back in the 1940s, right before chronic disease skyrocketed, there was no food pyramid. The guidelines were four basic things. Meat, dairy, fruits/veggies, and grains. The average 155lbs adult male was recommended to eat 3,000 calories per day. And again, the vast majority of the population stayed slim. Not entirely disease free but after this era when the food pyramid was introduced and processed foods became more prevalent the chronic disease and illness went up substantially and has actually tripled and started to appear in younger people since then. So I stick with the 1940s nutritional guidelines and have lost from 260lbs down to 180lbs since starting this diet change in January
@@paulshears5202 The food pyramid is not the issue. It is the shift of society to a completely sedentary lifestyle. Moving around by car and sitting in front of a computer 8 hrs a day just to go home and spend another 4 hours on your phone or in front of a TV. That was definitely not the lifestyle of the people pre 40's. It doesn't matter what you eat, if you don't move around by foot you will get sick. period.

Here in Canada - wish we did something here too. I’ve been following your suggestions/advice at 69 years old, I’ve lost 50 lbs over the last year - went from 200 to 150lbs - dropped all bad starches, refined sugars, and seed oils totally! Also, included a brisk walk of 45 minutes each day (Walk at Home series), and feel amazing - blood pressure down, sugar down, cholesterol down. RFK would truly benefit from your expertise! Good Luck.

Dr. Berg, my husband's blood tests came out in august 16, 2024 with a fasting glucose of 363 and A1C of 10.5 , I have been following your channel for years and was the right moment to turn our lives around. My A1C was 5.7 and had insulin resistance. We gave up sugar completely, went on full keto, three exact months later my husband had 109 of fasting glucose and A1c of 5.8. I run tests for myself on November 4, 2024 and had a1C of 5.5 and my insulin was well. No doctors here believe diabetes can be healed , so I told my husband just to change our diet to heal...following your advice and Dr. Jason Fung and we feel great, in three more months , my husband will not have diabetes .... we have , as a result of getting healthy, lost a lot weight ... we know for sure that we have not only being fed with garbage but with blatant lies... thank you!!!!!

In the 1960's, my mother bought a book by, Adelle Davis, "Let's Have Healthy Children". I was constantly sick as a young boy, and my mother was looking for some answers, and she found them in that book. Davis was way ahead of her time, sounding the alarm about chemicals in our food. The number of additives then, was nothing compared to now, and after reading her very informative book, we became, "Food-Label" readers! My mother became an expert on vitamins, minerals, herbs and how all of those work together to fight disease. My health improved greatly, and so did the rest of my family, because of her zeal to educate every one about proper nutrition. My mother never went to college, but she had a lot of common sense. She passed away at age 88, my dad at 96, my nannie at 93, and rest of my grandparents were into their 80's. My mother bought all of Adelle's books, and she literally wore out the covers, using them as her health "bible". Thank God for mothers!
It's amazing what mothers will do for their children. We didn't start eating healthier until our children were born. We wanted to give them the best start in life, so I started reading books. One that ended up being my "health Bible" was Food Babe by Vani Hari. She was talking about all this stuff 15+ years ago. Those of us who've had our eye on this problem for a while are SUPER happy for any positive changes that come out of this.

Her next question was, "do you really believe this"? I answered in the affirmative for both. She showed that report to every teacher in school! I know for a fact that nursing homes, jails and prisons, schools, hospitals, and such give out over-processed, overcooked foods. I recently spoke to someone who is in jail for a short time, and they were giving not much more than peanut butter and crackers and apples. If they wanted something more, they had to buy it themselves. I used to volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program, and I know those foods that they deliver are just as bad. And now that it costs an arm and a leg for groceries, those who are poor can no longer afford to buy healthy, pasture-raised, organic. I was trying to go that route, but had to stop. The groceries are really eating into my budget. I do try to get fresh foods and cook from scratch as much as possible. Dr. Berg, I believe in everything you just said in this video. Keep putting these things out there. People need to be informed.

My family has a cattle ranch. Our cows are free range, grass fed and organic (although we haven’t been able to get official certification because of the red tape and expense.) We get zero subsidies, I believe another reason is the developers who have deep pockets wants to pressure us into selling like so many of our neighbors and other family ranchers and farmers in this area. The suburban sprawl is out of control even though you pass shopping center after shopping center with multiple shops, sometimes up to 80% vacancy and yet there goes another farm to build more. We cannot make a living ranching and we all have to have additional jobs on top of running the ranch. We also keep our calves with mamas at least a year. I found out recently that at the big corporate ranches the newborns aren’t even getting to get colostrum from the mother. They are separating mother and calf at birth and mechanically feeding. This is absolutely inhumane. Imagine going through the pain and struggle of childbirth and never getting to see your child. These and other despicable practices are being carried out and supported by our taxes. Put Our health and our nation back in our hands.

Nope, read the labels. They hardly use regular sugar anymore. They use a more addictive, more nocive substance that Dr.Berg already talked about: Maltodextrin and High-fructose corn-syrup😢

Prescription costs are outrageous in the US. As a recently diagnosed Type 1 Diabetic, I was shocked at the price of insulin: $1250 a month for something the costs pennies to produce. Insulin shouldnt be considered a luxury item when we require it to survive.
Get onto healthy keto and watch all of Dr Berg’s videos on diabetes, and you shouldn’t need to worry about the cost of insulin 😊🌼🦋
Sharon is partially correct, you can manage it better eating healthy.. BUT I think your major issue would be your insurance. We didn't know until we switched insurances.. we used to have Anthem Blue Cross and paid nearly 400 everytime.. but now pay only 86 with Kaiser Permanente.
Sounds like you use alot more insulin, he uses Lantus x2 12 units and takes 1-4 Humalog when eating... but I belive he has an off brand. Look into off brands too. If you didn't have that 1200 a month.. it's life or death.

When I was a child the lunchroom cooks cooked the food....now everything is processed and GMO....
I am a school lunchroom cook. It’s true things have gone downhill as far as nutrition goes in the lunch room. We did use to cook from scratch most foods. I have to say I am happy the kids from elementary to high school the kids are encouraged to take a fruit (fresh, banana, apple or orange, OR a vege bag with cucumber, carrots, and tomatoes. 🙏👍❤️

I'm a 71 year old male and I grew up on a farm and ranch in Texas. Beginning in the 1970s family farms had to grow significantly larger to get economy of scale and to benefit from federal government agriculture programs. Since then, corporate farms have grown while family farms have been squeezed. Like many Boomers from the farms I left for the "big city," and my mother sold the property after my father died. The land had been in the family for more than a century.
The 300 acre farm and ranch property was purchased by a younger farmer who was growing his holdings trying to keep up. I could write more, but I think you get the picture. Bravo to Dr Berg... his diet and supplements advice has helped me tremendously.

I work at a middle school. Free breakfast, everything ends up in the trash other than pop tarts or danish. Milk, juice, applesauce and fruit all in the trash. Sooo much waste. Also kids sit in front of chromebooks/screens all day. No free time or physical activity unless they sign up for PE or dance for an elective.
Also spent 3 weeks in hospital after a car accident. Food was horrible.

I believe RFK and you are correct 100 percent and I support you. I am a senior 72 years old 10 years ago I started experiencing severe head aches and found out I was eating to much junk food. Stopped eating french fries meat over processed foods like canned meats. I only ate blueberries, cold processed flax oil and cottage cheese for 6 weeks and finally the head aches went away. The world needs to ban oils that have life time shelf life and many other products that have harmful effects on our bodies.

I grew up lower/middle class, and you’re almost forced to eat terrible processed foods. It’s more affordable and parents were always working, so the choices were slim. over the last few years I came to the realization that most of (if not all of) the issues I have with my body is because of it. I was deprived of REAL and PURE food. I changed my diet and it completely changed how I feel. big thanks to Dr. Berg, RFK jr and others for spreading awareness to the common person. God bless

I tell them, I'm not on any prescription medications. They can't believe it. I eat healthy, drink ONLY water everyday, listen to your advice and I move.. move.. move. Plus, I wash my hands. Yes, everybody that's reading this, please wash your hands. Back in the 1940s, right before chronic disease skyrocketed, there was no food pyramid. The guidelines were four basic things. Meat, dairy, fruits/veggies, and grains. The average 155lbs adult male was recommended to eat 3,000 calories per day. And again, the vast majority of the population stayed slim. Not entirely disease free but after this era when the food pyramid was introduced and processed foods became more prevalent the chronic disease and illness went up substantially and has actually tripled and started to appear in younger people since then. So I stick with the 1940s nutritional guidelines and have lost from 260lbs down to 180lbs since starting this diet change in January

Moving around by car and sitting in front of a computer 8 hrs a day just to go home and spend another 4 hours on your phone or in front of a TV.
That was definitely not the lifestyle of the people pre 40's.
It doesn't matter what you eat, if you don't move around by foot you will get sick. period.

Here in Canada - wish we did something here too. I’ve been following your suggestions/advice at 69 years old, I’ve lost 50 lbs over the last year - went from 200 to 150lbs - dropped all bad starches, refined sugars, and seed oils totally! Also, included a brisk walk of 45 minutes each day (Walk at Home series), and feel amazing - blood pressure down, sugar down, cholesterol down. RFK would truly benefit from your expertise! Good Luck.

Dr. Berg, my husband's blood tests came out in august 16, 2024 with a fasting glucose of 363 and A1C of 10.5 , I have been following your channel for years and was the right moment to turn our lives around. My A1C was 5.7 and had insulin resistance. We gave up sugar completely, went on full keto, three exact months later my husband had 109 of fasting glucose and A1c of 5.8. I run tests for myself on November 4, 2024 and had a1C of 5.5 and my insulin was well. No doctors here believe diabetes can be healed , so I told my husband just to change our diet to heal...following your advice and Dr. Jason Fung and we feel great, in three more months , my husband will not have diabetes .... we have , as a result of getting healthy, lost a lot weight ... we know for sure that we have not only being fed with garbage but with blatant lies... thank you!!!!!

The pressure to breastfeed is enormous despite the reality that not all women can breastfeed. Sometimes nature doesn’t comply. Women get guilted and degraded when breastfeeding isn’t possible, only risking the increase in post part-tum depression. It was terrible for my partner when breastfeeding didn’t work out. We’d be wise to acknowledge that babies lives have been saved by formula.
Instead we need to do a critical analysis of what is thrown at us from all directions
