And just so you know it has nothing to do with being religious religious doesn't get you to heaven only a personal relationship with Jesus Christ John 3:3 you must be born again to inherit the kingdom of Christ that means as a Christian we have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that's based on trust we trust him, with our eternity and if your name is not found written in the Book of Life you will be perishing in eternal damnation the only way that can happen be having your name, written in the book of life is when you make the Lord Jesus your savior and your life gets changed from the inside out other than that you will perish God's word is very clear you have the choice but if you make the wrong choice of not choosing to have God has your Jesus as your savior the Bible is very clear in context verbatim you will perish eternally!!!!! And we don't water down the truth of the Gospel so it's not about being religious it's about having a relationship with Christ that's how we become a born-again believer you cannot make it to heaven without that
Second live video I watched and completely amazed at how good this band has always been. Saw them live in 78 and 82. As a musician this music is almost impossible to replicate, not because of technique but the soul and emotion this group invokes. No question this band is high on the list of American rock groups. You hear some people detract for the lineup changes and hate on MM. Personally MM a expanded the dynamics of DB music and one thing remained....never perfunctory, always soulful. Thanks guys for all the great years of your music I have listened to most of my life.

As a songwriter, I know what a blast it must have been to the writer of this song in the first 15 minutes of discovering and unlocking this gem! The whole following week must have been an exciting joy, knowing that something wonderful had been tapped into! These are the pieces we wait for!

See a lot of negative comments on here regarding Michael McDonald's influence on the band. Keep in mind folks that when Tommy left the band voluntarily he was a wreck. Couldn't travel with the band due to bleeding ulcers I believe due to his excessive drinking. Yes, they went pop with Michael but they still had a ton of appeal with the masses. Tommy's been back for awhile now and sounding fantastic and Michael has went his separate way and life is good for all. Just saying....

I saw the Doobies in 1972. Y’all played at the original arena in Greenville, SC. Michael McDonald was still with y’all! A friend of mine and I snuck behind them curtain to see what was happening. We were not in anyway a threat. There were 2 baby grand pianos on the stage. Michael spotted me and tossed one of the Rose’s that were on each piano. I was so speechless and star strike! I kept that rose until 1995, when the guy I was dating got jealous about it when I told him my story. He threw all my yearbooks away! Broke my heart, but I have the memory of it, that no one can take away from me!
