Thank you, still coming to terms to accept diagnosis ( and myself). I am going down as many rabbit holes as I can to find out as much as I can, so thanks. Oh and don't feel bad about lost time, I'm 60 and was only recently diagnosed. Cheers from Aus🤠
Of corse you cant sit still if you havent exercised all day. In School i just wake up go to school sit all day get back home sit some more. But "Fidgeting", i assume are small movement tics. Thats not gonna cut it. Lactic acid concentration in the body rises during hard exercises like sprinting, when you get out of breath.
Right?? Humans are designed to move. Sitting still all day isn’t the way, I agree. Note that didn’t say that stimming was a replacement for exercise 😉 Stimming falls into a category of movement called Non-Exercise-Adaptive-Thermogenesis (NEAT). Just another healthy, pathway for human bodies to function optimally. It’s a complement, not a replacement.
That's why i can't stop my brain need extra food to concentrate

I love to see the self compassion and curiosity! There’s so much here. Kudos to you and I’m rooting for you! It’s not an easy thing.
Not diagnosed, but suspect adhd in myself. I have ALWAYS been so twitchy, this would make sense.
Fascinating. Thank you.
You’re welcome! Happy to share 🙂
But this is why we give ADHD students figits in class and let them sit in wobbly stools. We've been doing it for years.
It’s such a beautiful thing to see become common practice. The older generations of folks who didn’t have this have my BIG empathy.

So it’s absolutely a contributing factor to lactic acid production, but you won’t be feeling soreness like with vigorous exercise.
