Gorzka porażka i ponownie gorzki początek sezonu, gdyż po Hurkaczu czy Fręch większość kibiców raczej nie spodziewa się żadnych fajerwerków na AO, natomiast na coś więcej od Igi Świątek przed tym turniejem liczyli zapewne wszyscy.
Niestety Iga od początku turnieju grała słabo i trzeba było być niepoprawnym optymistą, żeby liczyć, że pokusi się tu o zwycięstwo czy choćby poprawienie wyniku z 2022 roku.
Martwi nie tylko ta porażka - od 1979 roku żaden nr 1 rankingu WTA nie odpadł z AO tak wcześnie - ale jeszcze bardziej styl gry Igi. Jak dla mnie jakiś sztywny, wymuszony, bardzo siłowy, sprawiający Idze duży wysiłek i bardzo schematyczny. Mam nadzieję, że z tej porażki zostaną wyciągnięte właściwe wnioski. Ja w grze Igi od końca 2022 roku nie widzę postępów, a raczej regres.
Obejrzałem i poczytałem kilka opinii o grze Igi na AO w Polsce i zagranicą co mówią i nikt w Polsce, a przynajmniej nie zauważyłem, o tym nie mówi, co za chwilę napiszę, ale mam podobne zdanie jakie wyłania się z niektórych opinii z zagranicy. Chodzi o jej zdrowie, bo to już kolejna kontuzja, uraz w ostatnich dwóch sezonach. Iga nie zwala winy na uraz, to tylko moja teoria i takie komentarze przeczytałem pod programami tenisowymi. Poprzedni sezon zaczęła od dwóch kontuzji, a w Cancun w Finals pojawił się ból w okolicach kolana, co sama przyznała w jednym z wywiadów w AO, raz mniejszy, raz większy. No i są takie opinie, że ciało Igi po tak intensywnym 2022 i 2023 roku zaczyna się "psuć", zaczynają wychodzić urazy, które jeśli nie będą wcześnie leczone objawią się poważnymi kontuzjami, które mogą ją wykluczyć na pół sezonu albo więcej. To nie jest coś dobrego, że nosi się od grudnia opaskę na treningach i meczach, kolano boli, są problemy z rzepką.
Nie wierzę do końca w to co mówi, że jest wszystko dobrze, nie powinni się kibice martwić, że to żaden uraz, niewielki ból. A nie wierzę w to, bo cały AO wyglądała tak, jakby grała ostrożnie, żeby nie uszkodzić sobie kolana (kiedy Iga ostatnio się ślizgała, robiła swoje szpagaty?). Oczywiście może tak być, że ona wierzy w to, że to nic takiego, i to powtarza w wywiadach, ale w AO sprawiała wrażenie dziewczyny, która woli nie ryzykować za bardzo zdrowiem, tylko nie jest tego świadoma, jakby sama siebie oszukiwała. Ale z drugiej strony ciężko mi uwierzyć, żeby tak ryzykowała zdrowiem, poważniejszą kontuzją. Rok temu gdy dostała kontuzji żebra i wycofała się, niektórzy mówili, że przesadza, a wolała dmuchać na zimne.
Nie chce mi się wierzyć żeby nikt w sztabie i Iga nie zainteresowali się poważniej tym urazem, który ma od listopada 2023 roku, że żadnych badań nie zrobili, a zawsze dmuchali i chuchali na jej zdrowie (a na pewno ma lekarza w swoim sztabie). Więc tak po kilku godzinach od jej meczu, wynik spotkania mnie już tak nie boli, tylko niepokoi mnie po prostu jej zdrowie, że może tak być, jak z Rybakiną, u której też coraz częściej pojawiają się problemy zdrowotne, a to z barkiem, a to z plecami. Są teorie, że to od tego jak siłowo serwuje, od treningów, intensywności turniejów nie wytrzymuje Rybcia całego sezonu na równym poziomie i bez kontuzji. A obie zawodniczki podobnie zaczęły sezon - poprzedzające turnieje wyglądały super w ich wykonaniu, a jak przyjechały na AO to przygasły.
Ale nie potrafię zrozumieć, że w Abu Zabi i UC grała naprawdę super, też z opaską przy kolanie, czyli z urazem, a w AO gra Igi, a raczej jej mowa ciała, zaczęła wyglądać niepokojąco. Czytałem że przez te wszystkie niby drobne urazy Iga, które zdarzają się jej coraz częściej już więcej może nie wygrać żadnego turnieju, nawet w tym sezonie, bo jest tak przemęczona dwoma intensywnymi sezonami, że w końcu zaczęło się to odbijać na zdrowiu Polki, że doszła do kresu swoich możliwości, a pojawienie się tych kilku kontuzji w dwóch ostatnich latach u zawodniczki, która jest na początku swojej kariery, ma dopiero 22 lata, to najgorsze co się mogło przydarzyć. Nie powinno w tak młodym wieku. W 2022 roku wydawało się, że jest niezniszczalna, żadnych kontuzji, ale w końcu musiały się pojawić (czy te siniaki na udzie to tak fizjoterapeuta ją wymasował, czy to od uderzeń rakietą, a może objawy tego urazu w okolicach kolana zastanawiali się polscy komentatorzy w czasie transmisji).
Ale czy można coś zrobić z tym urazem, czy już zawsze będzie grać z opaską? Bo chyba nikt z nas nie chciałby widzieć, jak Iga skacząc do serwisu i niefortunnie stanie rozwali sobie kolano. A może po prostu wystarczy grać mniej turniejów niż w poprzednich dwóch latach? Oczywiście w to że z tej bolesnej porażki (widać na konferencji że ją bardzo zabolała, mimo tego co mówiła, że to nie koniec świata, będą kolejne turnieje w tym sezonie, a zapowiadała przed wyjazdem w Q&A z fanami, że byłaby bardzo zadowolona gdyby w końcu wygrała AO, bo osiagnęła dobry wynik dwa lata temu) wyciągną odpowiednie wnioski trener i tenisistka to wiem, bo nie raz się podnosili po tym jak dostali zimny prysznic w ostatnich dwóch latach (wiadomo o jakie sytuacje chodzi).
Najważniejsze jest jej zdrowie, żeby jej się organizm nie posypał w najbliższych miesiącach/latach, żeby nie było tak że skończy karierę za 2, 3 lata, i nie dlatego że wszystko osiągnie co chciała, ale dlatego, bo organizm coraz bardziej będzie się buntować (tak było z Radwańską) na co zaczyna niestety wyglądać. No i jestem tym bardzo zaniepokojony. W sumie gdy nic o tej opasce i urazie nie mówiła, choc miała też ją w Abu Zabi i w United Cup to w ogóle się nie przejmowałem się, bo grała tak (nieważne z jakimi zawodniczkami) jakby żadnego urazu nie miała, choć nosiła opaskę, ale w AO jej mowa ciała w każdym meczu wyglądała bardzo niepokojąco, i dopiero gdy ją dziennikarka zapytała i odpowiedziała uspokajająco to mnie tylko bardziej zestresowała. Teraz każdy mecz w każdym turnieju, zwłaszcza gdy będzie nosić opaskę na kolanie, to będę przejęty jej zdrowiem, żeby coś jeszcze poważniejszego sie nie stało. Może to wpływ tych komentarzy które zacytowałem, ale nim je przeczytałem to już miałem podobne wnioski do jej zdrowia:(
nowy trener jest potrzebny do wyciagniecia wnioskow,bo obecny zbyt dlugo wyciaga i nie moze wyciagnac. W wywiadie w czasie United Cup trener Hurkacza opowiadal o Idze i sie nia zachwycal ...widac bylo ze mialby ochote ja potrenowac (niestety jest zajety Hubertem ). Musi nastapic zmiana w "sztabie". Czeszka Ige rozstrzelala

Wrong. Iga wasnt playing with her usual racquet. Tecnifibre made her change to the Tfight 300 isoflex and now see what happened.
NO， I don't think she is weak on the hard court surface, clay is her best surface. On hard court her slightly weaker forehand just get pummeled by the other player. Her win at Cancun is not really a form indicator of her overcoming the difficulty with hard hitters on the hard court surface, those straight set wins on the shit court in shit weather in Mexico seems to misled most people about Swiatck's form.

No, she added nothing to her game just some minor tweaks on that serve, every player is starting the year from exactly the same point, mental tiredness is a poor excuse.
It's the beginning of the year, how can she be tired? No, her technique is terrible and she's a frantic player. At last we have a few players on tour who are playing well. Sabalenka and Rybakina will always beat her when they are at their best. Now we can see that there are other players who have the self-belief to stand up against her. Noskova was remarkable today. Ms. Iga needs a PROFESSIONAL trainer, not a storyteller with connections to the security service and the Polish Tennis Association. A loser and a hustler will not replace a coach. There has been a COLOSSAL regress in Ms. Iga's technical tennis, she is a shadow of the player from the times of coach Sierzputowski. YOU CAN'T CONSTANTLY base your technical game on running and a great mentality, you need TECHNIQUE! Yoda Wiktorowski - WON!
I've always said her technique is bad. Her forehand is frantic and there's too much going on. Her backhand, she takes too close to her body. You'd think she could sort out her own technique if she was any good.
