The kill switch can be unplugged and it will run fine. It's a open loop system. Alot of people bypass them because the washers In the throttle lever go bad and create spark issues. Keep that in mind
Or you can do a little snip snip on one of the wires, disabling the throttle safety switch and still have use of your kill switch. I would personally get a new throttle block and plastic washers but that's your call.
I've unplugged everyone of this generation of Cats Kill switch that I have owned and many of others that I ride with. I've gone over the bars a few times when you dive into a ditch and PIN it and the throttle cuts out.... not fun. Kill the kill switch on these Cats and you solve a lot of ignition issues.
Love it. You guys keep me motivated to work on my 98 formula 3 700. Running like a top. Just repaired seat bolts and tail light wires on my kitchen table 😝
these vids have been a dik tease, they need to be much longer. glad u guys have got the sleds working, any update to the snowmobile trip to maine? that zr800 is a good pick to bring up, seems like its in the best shape.
I’m SO jealous of that ZR800! I wanted an efi one with reverse but couldn’t find one in my price range. I ended up with a 2001 zr600 chassis with 800 carb motor in it. Hope you enjoy that thing!
The kill switch was unplugged because a lot of time people have issues with em on these cats, the tss is a pretty common failure on them. It’ll run without it plugged in; easy way to bypass
There is one way you can instantly tell the kind of owner that these types of sleds have/had. The presence of coupler blocks in the rear skid. Those CCE's were some of the best sleds that Cat ever made.
Make sure you put the carbon overload bars up so the suspension will be even stiffer. They're meant to be used for 2 people and then it's a soft ride when there's only 1.
Jeremy you made me me buy my first snowmobile my first sled was a 2001 artic cat zr900 but then I watched you more then I bought more sleds now as of 2022 I have a total of 10 snowmobiles
Is that Mike's shop? If so he's balling lol you guys should come ride my way in Athens vt we go up to cc camps and all the way threw Townsend vt and keep going fun fun ride
u should do a video on how to ajust a track on the older model Yamaha’s. I have a 99 vmax and not one video on youtube. Yamaha ajuster bolts in different location than others
I can't believe you got that ZR for $250. As is now that you've gotten it running it'd go for nearly $2000 here in MI. No lower than $1300 and that'd be a good deal for sure.
Well I really like to see them all going at once that would be nice to see all of them run and actually move around and stuff maybe you and Mike can go and take a nice trip on all of them
You guy should check exhaust and muffler mice's make house inside happened to me before three sleds I brought from sitting 5 plus years they were packed and no power lol
You guys ever think of putting hashtags in the descriptions of ur vids.. might help boost your viewership via the magic of metadata.. just food for thought.. keep doing you! Liking the content fellers
Can’t really ride sleds in PA anymore, unless you want to trailer to New York. We don’t get enough snow to justify it. January 1st today and it’s 54 outside.
I bet that kitty 800 is gonna shred the snow. I’d think a giveaway would be badass on one of the sleds. Prob help yens sell a lot of merch if that’s how yens are doing it.
What sled are you riding this year?? Drop it down below!
Ski doo summit 600 etec 146
2002 Polaris 700 edge x. Just a feild sled this year
Yamaha vmax 700 triple 🤩
1996 XCR 600, VForce in that Cat too!
2012 proclimb m8 snopro
I really like this series of older sleds getting running again and riding them.
Yea same. I got a 96 Polaris xlt 600 for free. Got it running and it rips! Keep these vids coming guys! Love it.
Yes, especially when someone says "I can't get it going" haha challenge excepted ☻️👍🏿 lol
I really enjoy these fixing sled videos! Reminds me when I was young like 14 years old always buying old sleds and wrenching on them . Good old days

Definitely a beautiful snowmobile. I would love to find one in that good of condition.
Even for sitting for all these years and not cared for, I was thinking the same thing, what a nice looking sled!
Just saw one here in Alaska with just 550 miles and it a 2002. One old lady owner and won’t sell it. Impressive looking!!
Happy new year Mike and Jeremy
The kill switch was unplugged because a lot of time people have issues with em on these cats, the tss is a pretty common failure on them. It’ll run without it plugged in; easy way to bypass
i had an arctic cat 580 ext efi and i miss that sled i was forced to sell and that zr reminds me so much of that sled
Damn that sucks
Snowmobiles look fun I never rode a snowmobile before so would want to start with a used one to see how it's like but no idea on how to pick one
One of the only channels I actually sub to keep up the greats buds Jeremy

I'd love to have that ZR800, that was always my dream sled
There is one way you can instantly tell the kind of owner that these types of sleds have/had. The presence of coupler blocks in the rear skid.
Those CCE's were some of the best sleds that Cat ever made.
new to channel and loved every minute of it! Minnesota love!
This series is so awesome I'm ngl
Love it , keep up the good work!
Happy new years guys! ✌
My first sled was the same year, model and cc as the panther. Can further confirm that considering how heavy it is, that thing flies!
Jeremy I recommend these snowmobiles ski Doo safari, artic cat thundercat 1000, artic cat fire cat, ski Doo formula 500
Had the lil brother to that 800. 02 440 snowpro. Definitely fun lil sleds. Great vids
great channel. you should post more than once a week and make the videos longer than 10 minutes👍🏾
I love this series
First vid I watched in 2022. Good start.
Happy New Year
IRealy like the way you got the zr800 running .
Good work guys!
no sasquatch in this video? lol
Do you ever check the idler wheels and hyfax
Make sure you put the carbon overload bars up so the suspension will be even stiffer. They're meant to be used for 2 people and then it's a soft ride when there's only 1.
Mike is the Bob Ross of mechanics with his brushes.
Jeremy you made me me buy my first snowmobile my first sled was a 2001 artic cat zr900 but then I watched you more then I bought more sleds now as of 2022 I have a total of 10 snowmobiles
ZR 900 didn't come out until 2003 and the last year was 2006....
Jeremy, please revive '80-'91 Yamaha SRV 540. Love these sleds!!
Glad to be part.
wish i had a shirt to go with the awesome videos
I’ve never taken apart an artic cat steering column, is the kill switch really a trailer plug?
Great job once again guys! Can’t wait to see this giveaway mod sled gonna be awesome keep killing it.
Best sled of that era!
Is that Mike's shop? If so he's balling lol you guys should come ride my way in Athens vt we go up to cc camps and all the way threw Townsend vt and keep going fun fun ride
Makes me want to finish my project ZR600, need to put the carbs back on it though.
My guy I got the same sled none of my gauges work but the speedo u got a idea where to start.
u should do a video on how to ajust a track on the older model Yamaha’s. I have a 99 vmax and not one video on youtube. Yamaha ajuster bolts in different location than others
What is the story with the shop paintings on the wall of the army tanks?
lmao the song from step brothers but remixed...dope intro haha
Good job guys some old iron out there worthy of a few more miles
I can't believe you got that ZR for $250. As is now that you've gotten it running it'd go for nearly $2000 here in MI. No lower than $1300 and that'd be a good deal for sure.

For your gen 4 ls there are tons of options for computers best way to do t is run a standalone ecu and msd ignitions
👍👍👍 Great Stuff men
Gotta get my sled running now, got the 03 version
How many sleds are broken down in the woods
Mike can.
fix anything!!!
So good. 😊
Leave the kill switch un plugged or buy the washer kit fir the throttle...there is a way to cut one wire so the kill switch still works
Great job
Love the content keep em comin
You guys ever think of putting hashtags in the descriptions of ur vids.. might help boost your viewership via the magic of metadata.. just food for thought.. keep doing you! Liking the content fellers
Would love another 800
I ran a ZRT 800 for years it was always a great running sled very fast but the speed incredibly overran its suspension capability at about 40 mph!
Time to get some more!
What happened to the mxz 700?
Can’t really ride sleds in PA anymore, unless you want to trailer to New York. We don’t get enough snow to justify it. January 1st today and it’s 54 outside.
