Hello Jeremy, I have a tip for you. When cleaning carbs or the whole fuel system, pressurize the tank to prime/fill the carbs. Even if you literally have to blow into the tank. It's way easier and quicker, but the downfall is, you don't get the batting practice. Been watching your videos for a while, really liked the trips exploring the abandoned radar base. Keep up the good work. If I ever get to Vt. I would love to meet you and Mike.
7:20 to 8:20 ... Guys...lift the vent tubes to carbs. Get squeeze bottle with little pointy end on it. squeeze a few ounces of fuel into vent tubes, to fill bowls in each carb. ...It will start like you shut it off 10 minutes ago. (Unless you like the work out)
I’ve got the same sled. Only 1,000 miles on it, and in pretty much mint shape. Got it off an older fellow who stored it inside since 2010. The 570 is a great motor! Mine unfortunately has a bad clutch, stuck engaged. Fun to see another one living and being repaired in 2021, almost 2022!

Hello from Michigan JR. Love the videos, especially the snowmobile vids going back to the MXZ days. How about a 2 minute tour of the garages/shops/barns where you guys work on the sleds? Keep on rocking the old sleds, you inspired me to buy a 2008 MXZ 3 years ago after having a Kawasaki Intruder 440 in the 80's.
I had the same problem with the snow flap gone. I was able to cut one out of a semi trailer mud flap. Its nice stiff 3/16' black plastic so it stays out of the track when you reverse in deeper snow.
I love it! this is what my buddies and I do all winter long and been getting old ditch bangers ripping for the trails cuz our mnt sleds suck on the trails but here in Idaho that's all we do is mountain ride I'm 39 years old and still get all amped up when the snow starts to fall I love winter and and all the challenges it brings with it. And it literally makes some the new out of towners move back to where they come lol !! Keep making videos bro
I just got a 90 440 prowler. Hasn’t ran since 06.. we got it running Saturday and I rode it to the barn on the grass. Although the clutch is sticking. But we don’t have any sign of snow so looks like it’ll be next year before I can ride it for real
NICE !!! Workin on getting a 92 AC Wildcat Runnin again.,,,, also was 300 bucks,, had to drill out one of the choke plungers but no damage to the carb,,, damn thing sat for about 8 years so was pretty gummed up... Will post a vid of it running when it finally does.

Heard you might be riding uo through Maine. Its87 goes out behind my house maine trail to get to Northern Maine and down south. Hope you do it its a great time. But some trails suck ass uo here from New sleds ripping the shit out of them
those sleds were sled of the yr that yr when it came out ,you guys need to slow down and just use primer the sled will fire after two or three pulls once you have primed it right

Where I live the snowmobile everyone drives is a ratty bravo, they will never get destroyed they are like the most relyable trail sled ever. Me and my buddies all wanted you to fix that short track and see it rip good next year that would be sick

Any tips on cleaning out Artic cat gas tanks? Can't get the sticky sludge out. Tried everything from vinegar to toilet bowl cleaner. Even shook it vigorously with bolts and nuts.
all I have every go wrong with my arctic cat is the wiring harness to the motor. had some green in the connector. And why do people prime the system the hard way just blow in the tank and watch the lines fill up!!!

Find the vent for tank and carefully shoot in compressed air with air gun. Again key word is carefully dont turn tank into basketball 💥
