Thanks dude! I’m defo loving the UG filter.. i was bit worried about how the root feeding plants would do, but they’re doing great! The nutrients in the water column is defo being delivered to the roots via the filtration!!! The perfect filter!!! 🌱👍

Loving the undergravel filter love! I run one on my goldfish tank. I wonder how a high CEC substrate, like that volcanic one jbl did, would fair with plants 🤔
Yeah, I’m really enjoying under gravel filters at the moment.. no skool like the old skool!!! I’ve never used high CEC substrates before, but I’m sure plants would do fine!! Thanks again! 👊
@@GingerFishyOfficial ruclips.net/video/-LGJ2HUsjlE/видео.html this is mine but from a year ago, I'm running it in reverse flow at the moment, the only downside is I used white pvc pipe for the up pipe and pipes under the gravel, found the black stuff from toolstation after this was done, nightmare 😂

Yeah, I don’t think they’re quite fully grown yet.. I know the females get a quite a bit bigger!
