Bought them about a month ago. Went down the rabbit hole and ended up just using simagic settings. Going to get back on simhub tonight and give it another go. Great video and Amazing information bud.
@@ss0op thank you for putting this up! When I first got them I was struggling to get a decent PCC setup so they felt a bit underwhelming, especially if only used for ABS which I do like for the regular 992 GT3 but the Cup Car does not have it. However, after trying your settings out... game changer! now I want one for my throttle so I can copy your settings over for that too haha
@@zero_day_xsploit I wouldn't say it would make you "faster" as much as more consistent which will ultimately lead to getting faster. I really like having one on the throttle, especially for rear wheel drive cars where I am trying to get a good exit as I can FEEL if I am on the throttle while applying too much steering input, which could result in some wicked oversteer on exit. The brake is for sure #1 priority if you only have one to spare. If you have the $$$ to spare I'd suggest getting an extra one but if you are scraping the barrel to get funds together for more HPRs I would suggest just practicing more and saving money for cooler sim racing gear. Just my 2 cents! 😃
Do they work when it’s not checked? When you hit the test button make sure you are pressing the pedals while hitting test! Also try checking the on off then back on again switch in motor output tab and test again.
@ They work fine when not check. When checked, even when I click “test” it’s not working. I have standalone haptics with Heusinkveld sprints. I wonder if sim hub not seeing my pedals pressed.
@ just make sure you are actually pressing the pedals when you click the test button! If you are doing that and they still aren’t working I’d suggest jumping on the sim hub discord and asking for help!
Might be okay for f1 to have a throttle one but i found it more of a hindrance, hard to live without the brake thought. Thanks for the idea of gear grinding in the pedal
@@ss0op I did buy the power supply. Here’s what’s strange: if I uncheck “only when pressed” and click Test Now, I can feel them. But if that box is checked, nothing. Nothing in any sim title and nothing from the tests in Effects Profile.
@@bigchild3147 No clue. My only guess is it may have something to do with the pedals. I'm using Heusinkveld Sprints and not the Simagic P2000s. But if you think about it, if you depress the throttle and get wheel spin or press the brake and lock up, the pedal *is* pressed, so it's meaningless to check that box.
I’m not sure whether the basic functions through simagics software will work but I do know that the way I use them in the video will not as it requires simhub to work.
pretty much! I didn't mention in the video but it does have a "gear grinding" effect that may be useful but I don't know how or which car in iRacing would trigger that!
Thank you for the information. I think I watched nearly all videos on RUclips how to configure the motors. You are the only one which gave advise how to fine tune the effects to your liking. Great hint regarding the telemetry recording. Maybe you could add some information (extra video?) what influence the settings like Gamma factor, Treshold, etc have. I noticed you tweaked them quite a lot.

They really are fantastic.
right!? couldn't agree more!
Do you any idea why my haptics are not working when I checked “only when pressed” options in sim hub? Thanks for the video man 💪

Hmmm, need to check, but I selected wheel slip as opposed to traction loss. Don’t recall seeing traction loss as an option…🤔
Wheel slip can be very noisy in some games such as AMS2 and R3E (non-stop buzzing unless dialed down in strength)…😳
I set mine up for iRacing - wheel slip is not provided by iRacing and simhub calculates based on RPM so it suggests you use traction loss instead.

Is SimPro Manager required for them to work? I just connected a set and SimHub recognizes them but the SimHub test doesn't activate them.
@@SpeedFreak919 it’s not required. Did you buy the power supply? The p1000s don’t need a power supply but the HPRs do.
