I have never heard anything so well explained that really hit home. This women really has something here but I wonder if these methods work on a person who has physically damaged nerves.

I started listening because I thought that was what it was going to be what it was about as I have nerve damage in my legs due to vitamin B-12 deficiency plus I have moderate lumbar stenosis so I am always in pain and was hoping to find new coping techniques. Instead I found even deeper and older scars that I have kept buried for year's and years. I will need to listen to part 2 for help but this one was was fascinating!

Loved this. I have a suggestion, instead of setting alarm for breathing, do it every time you go to the restroom. 3 rounds of breathing takes no more than the time to pee 🥰love you guys.

I resonate with Mr Rodgers - Aww and yes my grandparents voice. This has been very interesting and helpful. I'm going to work on my Toolbox ❤I also relate to the cleaning my dog poop and the local bunny that poops in my yard too - yes agree with the time being spent outdoors and mother earth.

I’m trying to heal my CNS from taking & coming off something that is prescribed & acts as a new row tock sin, taken over time. I’m no spring chicken & it’s incredibly hard to weather while trying to find affordable housing as I recover! I’m fortunate to have gained speech & some memory & cognitive function back, but it can be undone when the CNS doesn’t get enough down time to process it all! I’m astounded this is allowed to go on & that recovery takes so long & how difficult it is to come off! I really hope to see this! Changing my self talk has helped, but having no more family & community, is a bitch!

I have heard that complex trauma that starts in early childhood and continues through adolescence changes the brain. If this is true do we have to heal something in our brain? I believe this information comes from Gabor Mate.
