None of the current heavyweight champions or top contenders would have stood a chance against these 3 titans. The calibre of the division back then was unbelievable. Lewis, Tyson , Holyfield, Bowe , Briggs, Tua , Ruddock , Mercer , Morrison . The list goes on. True warriors.
Its scary how time flies.one minute these three were the men of the moment as i grew up and blink and they're getting awards with grey beards and half a century plus on the clock.great champions all.

@@jamesgarrett499That's a ridiculous comment, vitali klitschko almost beat lewis, the fight was only stopped because of cuts, he was 5 rounds up before it was stopped in the 6th, if they had stopped it in the 5th, they would of had to go to the score cards, and vitali would of won thats how close he was, both those klitschko brothers dominated the H.W division for over a decade beat all the top white and black fighters of their time.
Chisora went the distance with vitali and fury beat Chisora up bad in both of their fights, he also beat wladimir.
All these generations of fighter are closely matched, you could take a old champion from a old generation and he would be competitive now, and you could do the same with this new era of H.W boxers too,
Race has got nothing to do with it but genetics does help in the H.W division, but thats just size, its huger and dedication which makes a champion, and seeing though most black fighter in the old days turned to boxing as a way out of poverty and going down the wrong path, that added situation and the hunger and determination to succeed turned them into champions, its the same with most great fighters they have either
had to turn to boxing for away out or they have been dedicated enough to succeed such as floyd.
Take the Mexicans for example their total bad asses, and they have dominated the lighter weight divisions
throughout history their ancestors were all white Europeans, their really Spanish 100%, how come spain dont produce world class boxers, because the spanish have more opportunities in life, where growing up in mexico
does not, that added hunger and the harder life they live gives them more hunger and motivation.
All races are equal were all humans we all came from the same place, white people evolved from black people, due to migration and climate, if you look at some races such as the Russians and some of the Icelandic people you can tell, some of them have black features and genetics, look at pulev look at his skull and facial features and build, he's a white black man
