At the 33.00 minute mark, when can is signaling to someone off stage or maybe in the crowd, he just looks so happy, I hope it’s his other half and that he’s in love, he looked so happy when he keeps looking g over there and smiling.xx
Noticeably slower set. Sloppy guitar play and vox from Van. Lead guitarist ‘cut’ is missing. I love this band, and this is good. But I’ve heard it punchier in the past 😢
I just want my record autographed! Their punk ass security guard in Austin threw my record off the bus after I set it on the steps nicely for them to sign.
i love catb but i think van‘s guitar playing has become way more sloppier and his singing isn‘t as good as it used to be on stage. Seems like he can‘t reach some the high notes anymore … at least in this performance. He often sings a part lower or let‘s the crowd sing, cuz he seems a bit blown out or out of breath… in most of the songs he barely plays guitar at all. Even though his energy and presence is still there, but i think his sloppy playing and singing is a bit over the top now. A few years ago it was way more decent
Yeah I thought the same I can't imagine he's been playing much over past few years but instead of being nervous I feel like he's having a bit of fun with it as well so fairplay to him but yeah definitely hes a bit rusty give it time
I think unfortunately he's more focussed on posing with the microphone and holding the guitar out and looking cool than actually singing and playing the songs well like he used to. Wouldn't surprise me if the old band members got pissed off with it to be honest, must be a nightmare to play alongside
Yeah agreed but tbf give him a chance to find his flow again I doubt he has played to much during there hiatus so he's probably in the stage of finding his feet again and his focus on maintaining the energy and stage presence is a more important element for the band in my opinion as they start there rise again.
I love this band, saw them a couple of months before the debut was released and 6 times more after. Just sad to see how sloppy Van is now. Before he played and sang well. Sad to see the other band members leave and quite sad to see how Van performs. I still listen to their music but would I pay to see them now ? Probably not which sucks
It seems like they’ve lost their sound and it is evident how skilled Bob and Bondy were respect to any other replacement they could ever get. I hope time proves me wrong and they improve In a matter of months. Most importantly, what about showtime?!
I loved Bob and Bondy and I’m happy they’re doing the projects they want. But for me the soul of catb was always Van and I’ll continue to support everything that he does. This doesn’t seem close to them losing their sound since Van’s performance is the same. He could play a karaoke track in the back and I would still show up to see him live. And I think a lot of us would. Also this is a recording from a small camera in front of the speakers, it’s never gonna show exactly how they sounded live ✌🏻
@@nachijuarez I agree that the heart of the band is Van. To be clear my comment was about the live sound of lead guitar (with all those effects and the ability of Bondy to make use of them) and the improvisation ability of Bob (mixed with the awesome effect obtained using delay on the live drums). If you think about it, now they’ve got the same sound they had back in 2014/15 when they just played the songs as in the official records. If we focus on the whole exhibition it’s obvious how Van kept his stage presence and how he’s still rocking as a frontman. Then we can also appreciate the solidity offered by Benji, but overall I’m sure that they will need time to create a new live sound different from the previous and from the records sound. I love Catb, they’re my favorite band and I’m grateful to be their fan, I just hope that they will back on track creating awesome live gigs as they used to do with the previous formation. Peace, love and thanks for the video!
@@Ald_00Yeah seeing bondy not shredding next to van is really weird and i’m not confident that the new guitarist will gel into the dynamic quite as easily, but the drummer seems pretuu to legit to me. And we also have to remember these are there first concerts together so they’re bound to get better as time goes on. And as always, Van still sounds outstanding.
I think m they can’t win, there’s old members out and new in. If they had played and sang the songs exactly as they were years ago, they would be getting slated for not adding something new. Either way, a phone recording isn’t to show the true sound. My daughters going in august to Edinburgh to see them, so I’ll be back to give an update 😂 I love these guys.xx
@@xdmopey-8900 The drummer follows the groove more than Bob, so now the rythmic line is way more predictable, but it's just different, nor better or worst. The guitar seems legit to me, they have to work more on the effects.
recorded the whole thing, broke the video down in to sections so we know when which song starts. Some heroes don't wear capes
i swear to godd if van spends the whole tour wearing these same clothes ill get him
Uma brazuka que curte Catfish.
@@PauloRicck simmmm torcendo demais pra q eles passem a tour pelo br
HAHAHA pelo amor de Deus, galera! Catfish PRECISA vir!

Gracias por grabar el show!! Se ve que estuvo increíble, pero para ser honestos, Bob y Bondy son irreemplazables :( es notorio
THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING AND FILMING ❤❤❤
This is by far the best footage yet, wow great job!!
Thank you for this. Couldn't make the gig so I'm glad I can watch it here! 🔥🙏🏼
1:17:37 Love how the audience continued the cocoon at the end when van's mic stopped working
¡Gracias por subir el show completo! Tremendo show, la energía de Van, de Benj y los nuevos miembros, la energía de la banda es increíble 🔥
El guitarrista no es el mismo que tenian justo en sus comienzos?

Its not the same with van having all this hair
Los Argentinos andan en donde sea jaja 🫶🏻 saludos 🇲🇽
Why they didn’t play showtime? Its the new one :(
Some people say he might be saving it for leeds because of the line in the lyrics
My Van, my own love xXx you are fire babe 💥 divine and mine

What's with all the strumming the open strings? Can't be good for the sound, although his guitar is never that high in the mix...
los cigarros pasan factura

What song did he sing near the end of fallout?
the bartender and the thief - stereophonics
just cancelled the tour??

did they do an encore?
no encore 🥲

Quien es el nuevo guitarrista?

Shouting to play Oxygen I think, not a bad shout, decent tune 😅

poor performance, now concerts cancelled... sounds like drugs
