It’s been 10 years since Catfish and the Bottlemen uploaded to BBC Music Introducing and what a ten years it’s been.
From throwing demos on stages, rocking up and performing wherever they saw a crowd to platinum sales and headlining festivals. Watch the band in conversation with Radio 1’s Jack Saunders as they share their top 10 moments so far.

I'm a regular concert goer, and catfish by far is the best show that I've been to. they give an unbelievably amazing show.

I have seen Catfish 9 times in 3 different cities over the last 5 years and it has been an amazing ride. My first gig was maybe 50 people in a little bar and they played the entire balcony album because thats all they had. They have been extremely humble since the start and I am so proud of them. Cheers to 10 more years and hopefully more than 3 albums!

Their set at Glastonbury 2015 remains one of my favorite musical experience of my life. The rain pouring when they hit the first note was just pure chance, but it was beautiful.
I was at the Glasto 2015 set and it was the 1st time I’d seen Catfish live, the rain was the worst I’ve seen at a gig. But it was by far the best set of the weekend.
After seeing them 9 times later, I can’t wait for the next 9!
been their fan since 2013 and made a note to myself that i must watch them live one day. and last week, my dream came true. what a super fantastic show. happiest girl here.
I love this interview because it sums up all the reasons why I love this band, the first one being they are such a passionate live act.can't really express how much catfish means to me
I am so sad that the shutdown means we can't see these guys play(among so many other things). Right while they are truly at the height of their fame and abilities, everything shuts down and we're stuck with videos. I guess we can only hope they are using the time to create some new songs to delight us all with in the future. I'd drive anywhere to see these guys.
catfish is by far my favorite band ever. i've seen them quite a few times and each time is amazing because there's so much energy and it's evident they love what they do. i hope someday my band gets to be half as successful as they've become
Seeing Catfish at TRNSMT live this year was hands down the best performance I've ever seen I so hope I get to see them again this year
Same for me at Sziget! The crowd were pretty lit too. Seen them in Aberdeen aswell but I could not enjoy it es mutch because the crowd were stiff and there were not many circley. The groupies were just filming and if you tried to dance they told you to fuck up.

Seen them 10 times now and I've never felt so proud when I was at that trnmst set last year. What a gig that was! First time seeing them in The Duchess in York 2014 (my first ever gig) to now. Thank you lads for 3 brill albums and tons of great memories shared with my best friends. Here's to another 10 years!
This band is so brilliant and very unique. I've been listening to 80s new wave and 90s alternative but this band is the king for me because of their style and is completely out of this world. I hope they make more albums.

Been listening from the Balcony and I FINALLY got to see them at Riptide this year and they were amazing. I really hope I get to see them again

Ngl felt a bit sorry for Bondy at the beginning because obviously he wasn’t apart of the band then. I just can’t imagine the band without him!

These guises make me feel so happy. My favorite band & seeing Van McCan upfront at a show in Pittsburgh was legendary ❤️ he’s amazing & man they can put on a killer show.
Seen Catfish 6 times now and they've been incredible every time. Manchester Arena and Y Not were my favourite gigs ever!! Can't wait to see them at Neighbourhood in May

Very great show saw them in Columbus. I see them getting to a strokes or twenty one pilots level headlining festivals around the world. Can’t wait for the next album already!

I got to see them 3 times in 3 different cities this year. They’re my all time favorite band. I remember seeing them for the first time in 2017 when they went on their first US tour. Amazing band,

Catfish played at the club I go to. Friars court in Warrington, north west. This was however 2012, I wonder if anyone there had any idea what they’d become.

Sean Kilburn I’m unable to accept or deny that claim since I haven’t checked out their new album. :// but I trust that you’re generally right. I think Van once said he’s not about reinventing the wheel, but showing how good it rolls.
Granted that what they’re dishing is good, consistency has propelled some bands into success (among other things ofc) and catb’s trajectory is going nowhere but up.

ya 3rd album slipped by me because it was so much the same. first two were great cuz they established their sound but now they can change it up.
@@StoneGregory7 ye that's what Ihave always admired about arctic monkeys. They really try to change style each album whether it fails or succeeds.
They 100% do. These 3 albums blend in to one at this point and if they want to make the next step the 4th album will be make or break imo

Sam Trodden it’s kind of weird looking at Bondy when they talk of the achievements of the original line up (Billy), he just shut up, take a sip of his coffee and wait until they finish talking.
About your question, I don’t know what happened (in the moment I’ve noticed the change of guitarist I tried to search any info, but I didn’t found nothing, just a clip of the band with another drummer), but I love his work in the balcony, he gave the soul of the band, and bondy just keep with the same style Billy left.
@@irvinolmos7521 Yh I don't know what happened but bloody hell Billy is a melodic genius in my opinion. The thing is I just don't like their new album. It seems like they are just playing it safe which is a shame because they are a great band. But yh I just wanna know what happened to the guy because he was way more musically gifted than bondy.
