This is my head cannon, Alpharius and Omegon swapped minds. We know the Alpha Legion has the ability to mind swap and it makes since for one of the greatest lies the Alpha Legion ever told to involve that aspect. They would have had their memories altered somewhat but retain some of their core personality. This will help explain why Alpharius acts like Omegon and Omegon acts like Alpharius. So this means that when Alpharius died vs Dorn, it was the body of Alpharius but the mind of Omegon. After all Omegon himself stated, "My name is Alpharius, this WAS a lie". Omegon (who's mind is Alpharius but forgetting the was the real Alpharius) steps up as Alpharius (one of the most Alpha Legion things to be honest). He teams up with John Grammaticus and others to reach the Imperial Palace to help deliver a message to The Emperor. While we don't know what happens after this (yet), it can be estimated that given how close he would be to the Emperor by the time The Vengeful Spirit lowers its shield. This will allow Omegon (Alpharius) to join his brothers and father on the final battle (perhaps even being the one to discover The Emperor's broken body while giving credit to Rogal Dorn.) After this he will later fake his death by allowing his body double to be one shot by Roboute. He then spends the next 10,000 years guiding his loyalist squads from the shadows while trying to undermine the heretic side.
That'd make sense if Alpharious didn't mean beginning and Omegon mean the end. Omegon is absolutely the one that is still alive or they both are despite Dorn swearing he killed one. He swears he could tell the difference between the two and whether or not it was one of their sons doing the switcheroo for them, but I'd definitely want someone to think they could if I was them, and I think there's a very high chance they did just that. Hydra Dominatus!
Ah, yes. If Marvel's Hydra had a supersoldier organization, this would be them. Probably one of the biggest question marks in 40k, they are exceptionally good at infiltration, deep reconnaissance, and assassination. All of these and so much more make them the true masters of _Information_ _Control_ , the bane of the Ultramarines. The only contenders for this position on the Loyalist side would be the Raven Guard. We are Legion, for we are Many. Hydra Dominatus!
One Time The high lords of terra sent 6 vindicare assasins To hunt down some alpha legion officer. Some time later, 6 heads were found in The freezer of the high lords. Alpha legionares are some sneaky gits.
I think not even the Ravens are that effective. The sons of Corax are too humane, while the sons of Curze are too extremist. They are the kind of legion that would poison the water supply of a hive city for years just to destabilize a sector
From now on when people ask why I like the Alpha Legion I'm linking this video. Can't stress this explanation enough at 7:07 - 8:20 as to whether they are loyalist or traitor - due to the predictions of the Cabal about the fate of the universe.
I think the alpha legion got so used to being SO deep undercover they never realized youve got to, like, pop that cover EVENTUALLY. Like "man, theyll never expect im undercover if im game to massacre everybody at istvan 5!!" To "theyll NEVER see through my disguise if i plot the downfall of the empire!" To "getting murdered in the traitorous attempt to destroy the emperor will ensure I NEVER get my cover blown.. PERFECT!!"
Part of me wants to know their true allegiance, the other part hopes that it is never revealed because this guessing game is the beauty of Alpha Legion. Eve the writers don't know it. Maybe they are traitors, maybe they are the deepest of the deep undercover agents ....maybe neither and they fight both the chaos AND the Imperium, as it is the biggest source of power for chaos in the galaxy ....or maybe something completely different.... that's why they are my favorite :)
I’m pretty sure cypher is one of them alpharius or omegon, who the fuck besides a primarch is escaping custodies custody like he did after riding with gulliman from the black stone fortress whilst carrying the lions sword on his back. This just tied it all together with alpharius’s connection with the dark angels at the end of the unification wars killing the thunder warriors and the only one to know of his existence besides malcador and Big E was Valdor the head of the custodies. I really think he got his face time with the Big E right after Gulliman because I’m sure there’s still a custodie or 2 that knows what’s what
Yea.....with that cloaking and morphing armor tech....that sounds right. No regular, schmegular Astartes is gonna pull that off. Plus wasnt one of their Primarch "powers" the ability to blend in? I think the book mentioned some kind of gestalt pyschic veil, always present...or one of the other primarchs said something like that?
There should be a stratagem for the Alpha legion in the game that on a certain roll, you can reveal members of the enemy army to really be Alpha legion infiltrators disguised as them.
Pretty sure the alpha legion are simply hive minded. What better a deception than appearing to have weaknesses like command structures where there simply are none. Appearing to disguise said structure would simply add to the believability of the deception. Hence their ability to so easily adapt to changes in the structure. Alpharius and omegon could be swarmlord-esque nodes of the hivemind that act with a degree of independence, but still remain part of the whole.
It would have been cool if Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 had the previous character broken out of prison by the Alpha Leigon, and it became a Alpha Leigon story.
I have enjoyed reading many books set in the W40K universe. I have never played it, but wondered: If I do, what army should I choose? Orks? Just for the fun of it? Ultramarines? Just for the firepower? Tyranids? Because then everyone else is just nom-noms? But now I know. If I ever take part in a W40K game, I will bring the Alpha Legion. Rules do not matter. Points do not matter. Suddenly my operatives turn up where my opponent did not expect them. Suddenly my opponent finds that one of his units was actually Alpha Legion all along. And then I win. And even if my opponent wins, he will always wonder: Was that the plan all along? There will be planted a seed of doubt in his mind. And then I win. Because I am Alpharius.
Great work. I am doing an arma 3 mod battle between the alpha legion vs the black templars. To assist the alpha legion I have some chaos cultists units. To assist the black templars, I have used the valhanans units. To add fuel to the fire I added an ork invasion as a third faction. Thank you for your dedication to the lore.
I really love the lore of the Alpha Legion and no-one really knowing what's going on with them. Even so far as I really don't think either of their Primarchs are dead.
alpharious/omegon where described as a single soul inhabiting 2 bodys in one of the books, and them beeing primarchs i think its pretty impossible for them to be dead dead in that sense
I like to entertain the idea that their are loyalist Alpha legionairs operating for the empire. As their numbers were never really known and using the chaos at the end of the heresy to set up loyalist chapters.
They are still loyal, just operating on the logic of "the end result justifies the means to reach it"...they will be the first to fight for the emperium when they know all the pieces have fell into place...they have planned it all out to end every traitor in one fell swoop. Planning and patience is their strongest weapon.
Alpharius is the perfect clone of the emperor working for the better good. Keeping the universe in balance. Alpharius doesnt kill but will sacrifice at will.
I loved this video, there's so little on the alpha legion so it was really awesome to hear some. What' the outtro choir song i think I have heard that somewhere. Do you have stuff on Sevetar,Khârn or the Night lords? anyway you earned my sub

Still waiting for an edition of the tabletop 40k where AL is present in both CSM and loyalist SM codices with slight tweaks. Or maybe just its own codex a a few unique models or upgrade sprues.
I’m always torn on his I feel about the alpha legion cause they are both super open to be whatever you want your war and to be from “Let the galaxy burn” evil to secretly loyal to the emperor but I just find them too confusing. Plus the whole “I am Alpharius” thing leaves me wondering are there any actual characters in the legion if they all either think they are Alpharius or at least pretend to be him?
When the Remembrancer said Horus screened his own legion to make sure there were no Alpha Legionares in them and in the video about Corvus Corax he had to do the same thing. My question is do the books say how they do this? Because unless I misheard the Alpha Legion can take the faces and memories of anyone they want, so how do you find the spies?
Holy!!!!! I’ve done it. The emperor did in fact find the Primarch of the Alpha legion first . One of the lost legions, The Third Brother, The Third Head of The Hydra. One of the Lost, The hidden.
I wonder, what's the latest info on the 2nd and 11th Legions? Has there ever been an attempt to recover and reconstruct their records? Because as far as I am aware, the only two around with any knowledge of the 2nd or the 11th are the Emperor (may he live forever) and Roboute Guilliman, and neither one will say diddly squat about them.
Alpha legion colour scheme and armour style is realy cool. I know it's very un likely but I like to think alpharius and omegan are both alive and it was a legionnaire who fought dorn and was killed

After this he will later fake his death by allowing his body double to be one shot by Roboute.
YES FINALLY! We are legion, we are Alpharius... human operatives on standby, orders?
From now on when people ask why I like the Alpha Legion I'm linking this video. Can't stress this explanation enough at 7:07 - 8:20 as to whether they are loyalist or traitor - due to the predictions of the Cabal about the fate of the universe.
You have my thanks @Only Valiant!
Loyalists? That’s a joke, right?
I think the alpha legion got so used to being SO deep undercover they never realized youve got to, like, pop that cover EVENTUALLY.
Like "man, theyll never expect im undercover if im game to massacre everybody at istvan 5!!"
To "theyll NEVER see through my disguise if i plot the downfall of the empire!"
To "getting murdered in the traitorous attempt to destroy the emperor will ensure I NEVER get my cover blown..
Man you do a fantastic job on these vids , really really enjoyable content . Thanks very much
There should be a stratagem for the Alpha legion in the game that on a certain roll, you can reveal members of the enemy army to really be Alpha legion infiltrators disguised as them.
My favorite legion. Hydra Dominatus!
It would have been cool if Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 had the previous character broken out of prison by the Alpha Leigon, and it became a Alpha Leigon story.
Just found your channel and I'm really digging it. I love me some good quality 40K lore videos. I will be subscribing for sure.
You are my favourite Warhammer youtuber, keep going
Easily my favorite video so far!
You have out done yourself!
Maybe the best entry up to now!
⚜️🐉🐉🐉⚜️
Thank you Master ❣️
I really love the lore of the Alpha Legion and no-one really knowing what's going on with them. Even so far as I really don't think either of their Primarchs are dead.
alpharious/omegon where described as a single soul inhabiting 2 bodys in one of the books, and them beeing primarchs i think its pretty impossible for them to be dead dead in that sense
Here's a good question, why did the Emperor allow the Alpha Legion get a beacon to him, instead of letting it be destroyed?
They by far have the coolest armor and color scheme.
Was wondering when you'd do the alpha legion, keep up the good work the emperor protects
The Alpha Legion have me the most excited for the scouring series
I like to entertain the idea that their are loyalist Alpha legionairs operating for the empire. As their numbers were never really known and using the chaos at the end of the heresy to set up loyalist chapters.
I agree. It is something I have thought about before. It would make a very cool story that played out over thousands of years.
I think we will finally discover Alpharius true Identity once the first person's claims to NOT be Alpharius
They are still loyal, just operating on the logic of "the end result justifies the means to reach it"...they will be the first to fight for the emperium when they know all the pieces have fell into place...they have planned it all out to end every traitor in one fell swoop. Planning and patience is their strongest weapon.
That's just the sort of thing they'd WANT you to think... 😂
...and the plot thickens....
Alpharius is the perfect clone of the emperor working for the better good. Keeping the universe in balance. Alpharius doesnt kill but will sacrifice at will.
I would love to have more books about them ... but on the other hand the mystery makes it so damn good.
Amazing video. Well done. Alpharius approves. Allegedly...
I loved this video, there's so little on the alpha legion so it was really awesome to hear some. What' the outtro choir song i think I
have heard that somewhere.
Do you have stuff on Sevetar,Khârn or the Night lords?
anyway you earned my sub
ok i loved it wished i had found a while back! great stuff. do you have any info in the Iron shades?
@16:27 is actually such a dope picture/artwork
Excellent work as always!
Looking forward for more elucidation in regards to Adeptus Astartes legions.
Also, if I may inquire, what is the music used in your videos?
Especially the one at ~ 15:00?
Also in regards to music, great job there, gives a whole new level to the masterful transmission.
Still waiting for an edition of the tabletop 40k where AL is present in both CSM and loyalist SM codices with slight tweaks. Or maybe just its own codex a a few unique models or upgrade sprues.
Well Alpharius, as Alpharius myself, I can agree this actually a great idea. How about we ask Alpharius, if they agree? 🤣😂😁
I'm Alpharius, and I approve of this message.
Or do I?! 😂
"Are we the Baddies?"
"I don't know. Are we?"
This is so amazing keep it up brother
Great job yet again!
Well done Remembrancer: HYDRA DOMINATUS!
another great video brother the emperors light shines upon you once again
5:50 Konrad?
More like Corax to me...🎉
They basically play the traitor to take opportunities to nudge the imperium in the direction of victory
The more I learn about Alpha Legion, the less I know about Alpha Legion
I’m always torn on his I feel about the alpha legion cause they are both super open to be whatever you want your war and to be from “Let the galaxy burn” evil to secretly loyal to the emperor but I just find them too confusing. Plus the whole “I am Alpharius” thing leaves me wondering are there any actual characters in the legion if they all either think they are Alpharius or at least pretend to be him?
Love the longer videos
I’ve never really understood the alpharius/omegon concept.
So there was 21 primarchs, not 20??
What about the 2nd and 11th legion?
What is truth and what is false none can truly say, but we many know our goal. That goal is closing to completion
Dont the Raven Guard and Night Lords do the sabotage and espionage thing too?
My head, Canon both Primark are still alive, but they split the Legion one half and the other half traitor
DOW's Alpha Legion: " Metal bawkses"
Holy!!!!! I’ve done it. The emperor did in fact find the Primarch of the Alpha legion first . One of the lost legions, The Third Brother, The Third Head of The Hydra. One of the Lost, The hidden.
Ooh so mysteriously mysterious
I wonder, what's the latest info on the 2nd and 11th Legions? Has there ever been an attempt to recover and reconstruct their records? Because as far as I am aware, the only two around with any knowledge of the 2nd or the 11th are the Emperor (may he live forever) and Roboute Guilliman, and neither one will say diddly squat about them.
Not corrupted by chaos and somewhat loyal. Alpha legion was a tool The Emperor used effectively.
You're Alpharius, I'm Alpharius. My Brother, we are all Alpharius
Alpha legion colour scheme and armour style is realy cool. I know it's very un likely but I like to think alpharius and omegan are both alive and it was a legionnaire who fought dorn and was killed
We are feared because we are the unknown. We are Alpharius.
*Hydra Dominatus*
Or: "I Am Alpharius and So Can You!"
I'm Alpharius and this is my prefered channel on RUclips.....
The Alpha legion and the Raven Guard once played hide and seek.
The game is still on to this very day
The alpha Legion is always telling the truth. Even when lying. ESPECIALLY when lying.
Theres 1 truth about the Alpha Legion, its that everything is Lie and everything is True, for every lie has a bit of truth laced in it
Still hope Omegon is alive somewhere, going full Mission Impossible on Chaos
My fav chapter!!!!
Best legion so far.
Hydra Dominatus!
I just figured out what the ALPHA legions real specialty is, any member can become Alpharius and Omegaon the Primarchs can actually transfer their minds and personalities to any members of the legion thus making them a type of perpetual thus when they say I am Alpharius they are actually stating a fact they may also be able to do this with more than one host simultaneously!!!$$$+++I AM ALPHARIUS TAKES ON A WHOLE NEW MEANING 🤔 😉 😳!!!$$$+++
This isn't true, read the novels. I would like it to be true but unfortunately it isn't. The primarchs and primarchs. It would be awesome lore but GW aren't that clever
@@muglypunt968 It was just an idea hopefully GW will pick up on it and add it to the lore because the ALPHA legion is one of my favorites and I hated too see them become tratior so decided to give them a freebie!!!$$$+++
@@waynehaygood3122 they are my favourite too, I think if your read some more you will see where they stand. They're whole stick is to be unknowable. I don't want their legacy to be sullied by warp taint, I know that's not what you think or want but it is in the end
@@muglypunt968 I have read most of the books both Horus heresy and 40k basically since the age of 5 anything sci fi or fantasy I've probably read it from comics to novels 😆 I love to read and speculate on alternate realities and universes but 40k is one of my favorites 😀!!!$$$+++also Warhammer fantasy!!!$$$+++
@@waynehaygood3122 fantasy is my fave but 40k has always grabbed me
Night lords: if we can't scare it into submission, we can make winning hurt so much that they'd rather give us the win and worstecomes to worst we can just keep takinng out their leadership
Alpha legion: oh, would you look at that? Your heads of state and military are friends of our legion? You would like to bring us into the fold and give all power to us? Much obliged. Oh, your heads of state were actually Alpharius all along? No way, man.
Some Legions are hokey. This 1 is well crafted. It's like playing "Not it" tag. 4OK's version of 3 dimensional chess. A good chunk of their operations would to be heavily hampered by their armor 🤔
Can we have a video for Ultramarines?
My favorite legion.
When the Alpha legion gets involved you know they're doing the right thing.
They are the Astartes Elite!
Born to deceit!
Never face defeat!
Ghost Legion!
Funny enough they are the most human of the legions in how they interact with humans, marines and their primarchs alike. They talk to each other with a common cause and shared comradery that no other Legion would talerate with cosorting with base line humans save the salamanders. Even the real alpharus would talk to his human subjects with a casual approach that would be out of place in any other legion. They were just practical
They also showed up in the Kaurava system later and were very mean to the planetary defense forces. Believe me.
The Alpha Legion in a nutshell
MASS CONFUSION!
Going by the intro he would have been the singer of a HC band in another life.. ⚜️💀⚙️
this is one of the very few channels that could never reply or like any comment and no one would care, based on it being similar to an audio-library in the Imperium.
