I just started the painting on my Kenworth T 2000. I first took off all the lower fairings and fixed some breaks/cracks and painted them. Next hours and hours of wet sanding. It’s a neat truck, beautiful body. It’s going In bright safety yellow. Thank you for the video. I was trying to get an idea of how much I want to tackle at once. I think I’ll paint the top, let it cure then tape off at the top joint. Then paint the lower cab, body and hood. Good job. Looks great!
i just finished a custom kenworth, we never go that heavy in detail because people dont want to pay over 8k for a spray on most semis. but if you want quality i suggest spraying the roof and back panel of the cab first. let it cure a couple days then spray from one side around the hood to the other side so there is no stopping points. it helps keep dry spray down from the paint curing before you can get back to a certain area. and it helps trash because allot of over spray from the roof will dry and fall on the sides
I’m going to be starting a autobody job at a semi truck dealership, I’m kinda nervous. Do you have any advice? I’ve been through 2 years of auto collision school and I’m about to graduate
always keep 3 points of contact on the ladder, semi trucks usually can have more trash, or pinholes and no one notices. if you paint then always use a slower reducer, cause it takes a while to spray

Nice! Make more videos !
I should, I paint every day
nice brother
Looks great! How many coats did you put
I usually do 2. But this paint is one and a cross coat for mil build. Very expensive single stage but shouldn’t fade or crack for a long time
How long it usually takes to do a full paint job on a semi?
1 week depending on damages from start to finish
