I bought one brand new...ordered it from Regency Oldsmobile in Lansing, MI $6990.00 I ordered it with no A/C no T tops crank up windows AM radio. I know where it’s at and am hoping to buy it back someday.... I turn 60 tomorrow. I worked for Oldsmobile and watched it come down the assembly line in building 90. It went to my girlfriend and I ordered a 83 Hurst Olds The 1980 was lost for awhile but reappeared years later unbelievably not far from where I live now. Had a lot of fun in that car! If I only would have kept it....
Hahahaha. I literally just had water shoot out my nose! One of the funniest comments I’ve read. I’d show my wife but she left when I grew above mentioned spine lol. True story 😊. Now I can buy as many as I want!!!!

I look at the Japanese and Korean cars which are all we see in US streets today and feel nauseous, so ugly looking with 0 aesthetics. I wish American car makers could get back the Made in USA cars with the old style as the 70's and 80's.

Where did you find the original lug nuts? I have a 79 Hurst/Olds I’m restoring and it’s missing 1 lug nut.

A friend of mine had one of these back in high school. Same color. Rode pretty decent like a regular Cutlass, but was definitely more show than go.

Only thing special about this car is the black an gold paint. Other than that, Nothing.
My 80 Cutlass came stock from the factory with a 305 and I understand they were more common than the 307.

There is one at Bill Kay Corvettes and Classics on Ogden for sale, they have had it a while.
The owner is incorrect. You could get the Oldsmobile produced 350 vin code "R" engine in other 1980 Oldsmobile models besides the Cutlass.
