Thank you for sharing this process. I have recently started using BUJO for my personal planning. So, this seems like a great transition for my writing as well. I had never considered this style.
This gave me some awesome ideas! Thank you for sharing. I’m setting up a (sort of) bullet journal for my MFA thesis. I think you just helped me figure out how I’m gonna set that up.
I write in the same fashion as you described. I dont sit and pen it out, it's a gradual process. My question is, how do you keep your self organized? I prefer to write pen and paper before i use a computer, and I have notebooks everywhere.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I've tried to use Scrivener to keep all my bits organized, but I haven't mastered it yet, so mostly I just write whatever I know about my story in word. I try to keep scenes in order they occur, but I usually don't have chapter breaks until I'm in revision. Since I do get good ideas when I'm not writing (running, driving, etc), I do have a bullet journal that I try to corral my notes in.
I use Word and just put things in the order they happen. So if I skip to the end, I move to the end of the doc and put space between parts. It's not very organized at all...LOL.
This is super helpful for where I’m at with plotting and planning.
I'm so glad you found it helpful!

Pantster is a new term for me. Very descriptive.
I think most writers are a combo, but lean toward one side...pantster or plotter.

I have the same bullet journal but I really don't make the most of it!
I'm often switching out my methods of planning and plotting. But I always have a good journal handy :)
