I love how simple your bullet journal is! I don't have time to do the fancy spreads that everyone creates and usually end up doing something really easy, similar to what you have. I always love seeing what everyone else's bullet journals look like!

As someone who is fully obsessed with their Happy Planner, I loooove all of these spreads and layouts. A lot of the writer content in my planner is done more like a bullet journal so I love watching how others set theirs up! Thanks for sharing your journal! =)

I just found your video today. I learn about bullet journaling from a quilting RUclips host just this morning. Since I quilt as well as write fiction, I need to be better organized and I think some of your ideas will really help me. Since I can't do much handwriting because of multiple surgeries on my hands and wrists, I plan to use my 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 ring binder than a permanently bound journal. That way, I can use my dictation software, print out my notes and lists, punch them and put them in the binder. I plan to make one page for each quilt I make and each WIP I'm working on, with a way to show my progress on each one. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
I still haven’t quite figured out bullet journaling I think I have a process but it’s pretty simple just trying to keep myself accountable with my writing

@@AuthorBrittanyWang Discbound is almost like a binder but instead of rings it is on a disc. I use a happy planner which is discbound and use it as a bullet journal because I use the monthly set up. It's the best of both worlds.
I'm coming on this late, but I enjoyed your video and your example of the spreads you use as a writer. I also track my writing in a bullet journal, but I try and keep mine very simple. While I do track my personal tasks, it is mainly to track my progress as a writer. I don't worry about my social media numbers that much, although I suppose that I should pay more attention to that! I will look into your novel bible videos later. Sounds interesting. :)

Love your simple organizational style. I never did bullet journaling but would like to try it as i get into writing a new novel. Wish I would have started in January as now half way through the year i would be wasting half of the journal itself.
That's the beauty of a Bullet Journal, Renee! You can totally start at any time and skip days and months but not have to waste pages because you're creating it yourself! :D
This seems like a pretty regular bujo to me. I'm interested in what makes it a "writer's" bujo--planning arcs, character profiles, etc? I do like that it's really very simple, I'm not very artistic myself.
Totally get what you're saying! I think those kinds of spreads would be great to do but I actually keep most of that stuff in my series bible, which I have a couple videos about on my channel if you want to check those out! In my bujo, I more organize my writing and author platform goals so I can get this book written and also build a following so that I have an audience to promote to when it's done :) I think you'd really like my series bible though, let me know what you think of it if you get to check it out!

Wow, watching this i feel like a bumb. I definitly don't plan my writing or my life right now. I know sundays and wednesdays i go to church and the rest of the week i have no clue unless i have an appointment somewhere. I've gotta get on the ball and start being more busy and active in life, haha. Retired life. I guess i could just join a golf club like most retired men, haha. Lol well, thanks for the motivation.

If you are in school and trying to become a writer I would suggest having a notebook/bullet journal that is for planning/school and one for writing.
