  • iRealPro is a fantastic application, for backing tracks and practice, whether it’s in your room or out on a solo gig. It’s been my saviour during lockdown in that I’ve been able to busk, and also to do my hospital gig.
But what if you want the playing from iRealPro to be fully editable? Cue......
    GarageBand for iOS !
With a simple transfer of a MIDI file from iRealPro, it’ll open up in GarageBand, and while there will be differences in sounds, all the notes will be fully editable and of course you can keep adding tracks, including live instruments...
    The fun goes on...

Very helpful… except when you get to the part where you play an instrument, and then I get extremely depressed because you are so freaking good. I hate you! (kidding)

Hi friend, very good video. Interested in using ireal pro but I would like to know if you can send midi commands in real time to other apps like Sunrizer or Animoog for example. Can you tell me? Thank you very much.

      That I’m not sure I’m afraid-I don’t think it’s possible though...

Great tutorial! Glad you changed out the GB guitar 😆 to the Rhodes and the track came to life with your acoustic playing added (the iPad mic can be surprisingly good)

I don’t have one on my iPad but if it’s anywhere, it’ll be under the main keyboard menu, on “other” and then a list appears-you’ll find lots of sounds there...

@@DanBakerMusic well actually I found an Icon of a Harp in “Strings”, but that only change the icon, not the sound! :(
But I guess if there’s an Harp Icon then have to be a way to play with it!! I will keep looking to see if I can figure it out!!
