    Xanthan gum should be added to dishes quickly and the liquid should be hot, preferably boiling, to thicken...also, sprinkle it around when adding or your xanthan gum will clump like flour does👍

    So, I am literally eating this right now. SO GOOD! I topped mine with pecans, blackberries, unsweetened coconut flakes, and choc zero maple syrup. I'm trying the choc zero nutella on it next time! Seriously, y'all make this because it is a great breakfast on a cold day!

    I am eating this right now. I added coconut flour to mine to thicken it up. My toppings are cashew butter, unsweetened coconut flakes and blueberries. So good and filling.

      Chia seeds are a great thicker, adds texture and fiber! When using it you don't need any xanthan gum or as much almond flour if any at all. I am allergic so I used a bit of coconut flour instead

    Ive been keto for about 4 years and oatmeal is the one thing I consistently crave. It's not something sweet im craving bc I just want plain oatmeal. Maybe it's the texture I miss so much. Idk but this recipe was LIFE CHANGING for me!! Ty soooo very much. It's delicious🤤♥️

    KID APPROVED! Just made this for me and my 7 year old son. He loves it and wants it daily. Toppings I added were chia seeds, frozen berry blend (I diced the strawberries and blackberries), chia seeds, a little sugar free syrup and a tablespoon of peanut butter. So delicious!

    Forget the gum, sweetener, and almond flower, there's no need. Just add in 2 tbsp of grounded flax and a tbsp of nut butter. Add some berries

    I usually make the overnight oats with a mixture of hemp seeds & chia seeds but this looks so good, especially with the weather getting chillier. I love it heated with some butter & heavy cream & a sprinkling of Lakanto golden monk fruit sweetener.. delicious! Such a great replacement for Malto Meal which was my absolute favorite.

    Omgoshhh this was so amazing. I made it following her exact recipe. I found myself adding some chia seeds and a little more hemp seeds and put it back over the burner to thicken up. I had some strawberries, blueberries, choc chips and sugar free maple syrup YUM!! MY FAV WAS THE STRAWBERRIES WITH THE OATMEAL. Made extra which in popped in the fridge and will have for a snack later this evening and for the next couple of days! Thank you for sharing!!

    Do you ever add a little peanut butter to the oatmeal? It’s beyond delicious. I usually put a small dollop next to the blueberries. I even get the keto vanilla yogurt and add walnuts, blueberries and tablespoon of creamy pb ❤

    What a great foundation recipe and love it is flexible for breakfast, snack or dessert. Going to try freezing to see if that will work. Find having options that are pre-cooked and portion size in the freezer are so helpful for busy days.

    Okay so I couldn't find hemp hearts so I did milled flax seeds instead and omg it was so good. This is better than regular oatmeal. I topped this with sugar free syrup, coconut shreds, a little dark chocolate. One of the best keto recipes I have ever had

    Just tried this today for breakfast. For me I would make it just a little thinner. I used cocoanut flour instead of almond flour so it was a tad bit sweeter which is fine with me. I like mine sweeter. I don’t think I need the Xanthum gum because mine came out very thick. I love the hemp seeds in there it does remind me more of a cream of wheat type of dish. I didn’t add any berries, chocolate drops or anything like that. Just kept it plain but it was good!!! I would definitely make it again!

    Looks delicious...flax seeds will not digest unless they are ground. . .so be sure to grind your flax seeds if you want to benefit nutritionally.

    Xanathan gum doesn't go well with me. I always use flax seed or chia seeds to thicken up the noatmeal

      The noatmeal recipe I found is almond flour, hemp hearts, fax seed meal, chia seeds, zero cal sweetener, vanilla. It also had coconut but I'm not a coconut fan so I use an extra tablespoon of either hemp hearts or almond flour instead. No xanthan or guar or any other gum. Healthy sweet eats is the blog I found it on. I love that stuff. Yes, it's relatively high in calories but it is soooo filling. Totally worth the 400 to 500 calories (depends on what your add ins are, but a tablespoon of peanut butter and a tablespoon of sugar free chocolate chips will push it up to the higher range) since it keeps me full for hours and is a meal on its own. I have it several times a week. Best cold weather food ever! Pro tip: if you use powdered vanilla and heavy cream powder, mix all the dry ingredients in 8 ounce jelly jars and store in the fridge, you don't have to drag out all the ingredients every day and you only have to add water, plus cook it (2 minutes at 50% power in the microwave) and it's pretty much instant noatmeal.

    Always great recipe! Just as a note xanthan gum is best when mixed with any fat or oil. In water it will always clump up and turn gross

    I keep seeing hemp hearts at Grocery Outlet. Guess I'll pick some up and try this recipe. This recipe looks like cream of wheat, which I miss as much as I miss oatmeal. I'll just think of this as hot cereal, as I have no idea what hemp hearts taste like. But ya can't beat zero carbs!

    Definitely trying this as really never thought I'd find a good tasting low carb alternative to the oatmeal porridge I've always loved. Curious thought how is it you are squeezing the hazelnut spread from a tune if it comes in a jar or did you just transfer it to something. That is my problem with porridge or even Greek yogurt bowls I make, peanut butter and spreads are too stiff to drizzle on top when plating for me so I always end up having to mix them in which I dont prefer lol.

    Are you sure you only used 1 Tsp of Xantham gum?? It looked more like a tablespoon. I'm not being critical, we all make mistakes. I want to make this...Just Like You Did! Thank you for all your great recipes.

      I thought the same thing. Looked like 2 tablespoons.
