It was packed for the race Sunday. There wasn’t much going on Saturday (when this was recorded)
Patrick Long rocks! Came and raced Supercars on the Gold Coast...so many people dismissed him and yet he turned out to be one of THE star International performers...a lot of Internationals with higher profiles have tried their hand at Supercars and not done so well.
Crazy roller-coaster track with multi class racing, gonna be an epic race!
@@375GTB BMW RLL is only racing in the enduros so it would have been 2 Corvettes and one Porsche only... barely exciting to have GTLM with 3 cars.

The WeatherTech IMSA series doesn't get proper coverage so less people know about it. This is a great American racing series. NASCAR is big because it gets all the coverage and they go fast, but people forget this is more fun to watch! Who wants to watch cars go in a circle for 2 hours?

The race was live on NBCSN and on IMSA.com/tvlive for our International audience.
@@imsaofficial ok thanx, a lot of imsa races aren't live (stream) though. Hopefully, as the TV viewers in general, continue to decline more people will be able to view almost everything online.
WeatherTech Championship, Michelin Pilot Challenge and Prototype Challenge races are not available for live streaming in the United States. Americans relate to cars that they can drive. ie Not full on prototype cars with an Acura, Mazda, and Cadillac badges stamped on the cars. IMSA Racing now stinks and I will never watch it again if this is their new format 😥🤨😢😤🤯
Jim, the GTLM class is not participating this weekend. However the GTD class is; Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Audi and Acura. Not sure what you are referring to by 'New Format'. Sports car racing is multi-class racing and has always been our format. If you have any further feedback, please direct it to info@imsa.com. Thanks!
@@imsaofficial without the GTLM CLASS it is dead. If The GTLM class is narrowing don’t eliminate them have a GTLD class put some more power in the cars and compete
