    Another Wilkins? Anyway, that was a classic Touring Car race over in the US. That's the kind of racing we wanted TCR to do. Race like BTCC cars in the UK.

      觀眾就是需要這樣的比賽。但賽會劃的界線與觀眾的期望有很大差距。沒有足夠刺激性去吸引觀眾,等於沒有更好的宣傳價值,這樣只會走向沒落。保守的WTCR賽事,正朝這方向走。你看看參加車輛數量越來越少就會知道!!

    Kinda disappointed in the USA showing. We HAVE great racers in this country but there is so little support for racing real car chassis (touring cars). I wish the NATCC turned into a North American BTCC or for TCR to take off… especially because street racing is a bit of a plague here. I wish we could have a TCR North America series as good as Australia

    • @calibrazxr750
      @calibrazxr750 Месяц назад +4

      It's touring car racing. He pushed too hard in the first part of the race and wore his tyres out too quickly. That left him struggling to get the car to turn in when he wanted it to and struggling to hold the line he wanted. That eventually left the door open and the other drivers took advantage. His inexperience cost him in the end. He continually fought battles he could not win. Instead of conceding one place and regrouping, he constantly ended up on the wrong line and got passed by the following cars.

    • @GeriSoftStudio
      @GeriSoftStudio Месяц назад +2

      @@calibrazxr750 hard race is ok, but should be clean as well. If someone makes small pushes to make other out of balance, it is dirty. Thats all. If you are fast, than overtake cleanly.

    • @calibrazxr750
      @calibrazxr750 Месяц назад +4

      @GeriSoftStudio being faster isn't always the easy answer. Sometimes, the driver in front is slower than those behind and employs a number of tactics, equally as borderline, to stay in front. Sometimes it works and they finish ahead, but often it ends up being what we saw here. Sometimes the contact is a result of the actions of the leading driver, more than those of the following one. He tried to push a bad position and simply made things worse for himself. Don't forget, if a driver is holding up other drivers, he is making those drivers vulnerable to being attacked from the cars behind them. This is touring car racing, not ballroom dancing.

      @@calibrazxr750 the judges makes all clear :D
      Lynk & Co Cyan Racing drivers Santiago Urrutia and Thed Björk have both been penalised for incidents during the second race at Mid-Ohio.Björk was handed a five-second penalty for Race 2, while Urrutia was excluded from the entire meeting.
      Björk had made his way past the leader Marco Butti, making contact down the inside which pushed the Italian driver's car wide. The Stewards’ investigation concluded Björk had gained an unfair advantage and handed him a five-second penalty, which drops the Swede from third to sixth, behind Norbert Michelisz.
      Butti too was given a five-second penalty for clashing with Urrutia in Race 2.
      As for Urrutia, he was judged guilty for a post-race incident with Esteban Guerrieri; after they both had taken the chequered flag, Urrutia drove through the field on the slowing down lap and collided with Guerrieri, knocking the Argentine’s car into the barriers.

      I was flagging the race and we got the weirdest radio call after the checkered. "Car 112 has hit and spun 186 between T3 and T4." I get Urrutia's frustration with Butti (Butti's actions definitely crossed the line) but Urrutia going full speed on the cool down lap then intentionally trying to wreck somebody (and not even spinning the right car. He spun Gurrieri thinking it was Butti) definitely deserved the exclusion he ended up getting.

      Well, Urrutia as a profesional driver should have avoided contact every time he was fighting against Butti. But if you see minute 38:31 the Honda car begin With the aggression, then trying to take him out of the track at 39:15 and then he did a totally unnecessary move at 39:37. On the other hand, at 38:39 Urrutia hit him badly. I think that Butti was really frustrated for having lost several positions and become really agressive. On that situation the other driver couldn't keep himself under control also. But this is Racing, happens all the Time. Lets hope both have better days on the next dates.

    They are cheating and making fun of the judges.
    It's not just this tournament. Lynk & Co Tcr engines have a problem.
    I need an investigation. It's faster than other cars. The Tcr has limited horsepower
    Lynk & Co is different in speed It looks like the Chinese bought the referee with money.

    • @Dexter037S4
      @Dexter037S4 Месяц назад +1

      The cars are all limited by BOP, similar to endurance racing, also the Lynk & Co's are run by Cyan Racing, a Swedish team and it's a Volvo engine, which despite being owned by Geely is completely independent of it's Chinese headquarters.
      The Lynk & Co's have also been nowhere in TCR China this season, they actually are by far one of the worst TCR Chassis available in comparison to the Honda or Hyundai.
      I hate the CCP as much as the next guy, but Cyan are just plain the best team in Touring cars, they have been for 20+ years.
