Roy Orbison was a music legend who was universally loved and admired by practically everyone in the industry. Many eyebrows were raised when he chose this relatively unknown young Canadian to sing this duet with him, but she proved him right with this performance! Like the other commenters have said, her solo version done at his memorial is something to behold. Peace,
You should check out KD singing this alone at the Roy Orbison tribute concert.. truly amazing, powerful, emotional, in a way only KD can deliver it.

I'm old enough to remember when this song first came out. It has made me cry every single time I've heard it over so many decades.
You should watch Roy Orbison's concert Black and White. Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, KD Lang, Jennifer Warren, Elvis Costello and Jackson Browne all in the concert.

From Roy's early years I would recommend "In Dreams" and "it's Over" and from his latter period "She's A Mystery To Me", "A Love So Beautiful" and "Wild Hearts Run Out Of Time".
Roy was one of the greats, lucky enough to remember hearing these on these on the radio

Biz because you liked this song I think you would enjoy “All I Know” by Linda Ronstadt and Jimmy Webb. He wrote the song, and it was her last performance recording. It’s beautiful.
A lot of people are recommending her performance of this song at the Roy Orbison tribute. That one is great, but I prefer her MTV Unplugged version.
this is a great duet, i think it was recorded after his death (not sure). KD is one of the best, if not THE BEST on her vocals.
