The next victim. I’ve just got to go through the tank. It’s running off of a fuel I.V. now. This one was built from three engines that all had enough wrong with them not to salvage themselves.

Does that have a fuel pump? I have a 49 with a gravity fed tank. The tank leaks pretty bad so haven't ran yet. I think it was the 1st motor with a forward, neutral and reverse. Unless I miss understood something. The gas tank is made of 2 parts. Cast aluminum bottom and pressed steel top with 2 swedges around the outside and around the flywheel side, (if that makes any sense) and leaks around those bands. I need to find a good sealer and try to seal it on the inside of the tank.

It has a gravity system with tank as you described. In this video I just have it running off of a bottle hanging from my fence above the engine.
