    Hello from the UK tenniswarehouse I bought ubersonic 4 tennis shoes I really like the shoes but the front lacks abit of durability for me so if I'm not on my toes the jamming is abit of an issue on a hard surface have you done a review on the 4.1s is the front more durable on the new ubersonics and also does the colour matter I have the ubersonic 4 in fluo red but the paint is coming off when I jam my foot I guess it's to be expected and that I shouldn't lunge I should follow my shots does colour matter at all under the red on the 4 when the red comes off its white underneath so say if I go for a black would it be black underneath?

    The last GR I used was the GR7. I know that was like 5 years ago but I loved them more than anything since then. How do the 9s compare?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Год назад +1

      A lot of similarities overall, and we think that it should be a pretty easy transition. That said, the upper material on this 9 is a bit softer and easier forming to the foot and also feels like it has a slightly lower ride or lower profile. Troy, TW

      @@tenniswarehouse 👌🏻 Anything else you’d recommend that would be similar in terms of performance to the older GR7 besides the GR9? I was thinking about the new Uber 4.1s.

      I've loved the gel res. line up to the GR7. Did not like the GR8 at al and ended up buying multi pair of GR7's to make it through till they came out with the 9. my 7's are all tired now so I'm going buy a pair of 9's and hope they work for me.

    Mark mentions these don't last very long. Curious to know how many hours he's getting out of them. Thanks.

      He means the wider size doesn’t last long in stock.

    What's a good Asics tennis/court shoe for arch support? I tried the Gel Rocket and it gave me a huge arch pain.

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Год назад +1

      We would likely recommend this Gel Resolution, however it is important to find an arch support that matches your foot type. That said, it is usually best to use an insole, so that you can match it to you arch height and foot type, for example the Superfeet Premium insoles that we sell come in varying arch heights, and the Cadence insoles are good as well. Hi TW, how would you compare the gel resolution 9 to the court ff2?

  • @esrf123

    Does this have the same sizing as the Gel Res 8? Mark and Troy mentioned that they went down half a size on the 8.. Thanks!

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Год назад

      I would say pretty close overall, however I stayed in my usual size 9.5 in these, maybe just because I didn't feel the need to have as tight or snug of fit as before. Troy, TW

    Hi team TW. What’s the fit like for this shoe? Are they true to size?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Год назад

      I would say initially trying them on, they feel pretty snug as far as the width goes, but after wearing them a couple times, they open up or contour to the foot pretty well and feel more like a true medium width. Also for the length, they felt pretty true in the beginning, I went with my usual size 9.5 men's US, but as they broke in they do feel slightly long at the very tip, especially if a I wear like a really thin sock. That said, I don't think I could go down a half size to a 9.0, as I think it wold be too tight. Troy, TW

    Has anyone tested the CLAY version of the Asics Gel Resolution 9 yet? Being in Europe one needs the clay version. So durability is an even more important factor, over here. I am loving the 8, atm, curious if the 9 is on par.

      I got a clay pair directly from Asics. I’ve been playing in the hardcourt version for a few months and I love them. It was a seamless transition to the clay version. The clay tread is very deep and the grip on our American green clay is exceptional.

    Do these shoes fit narrow?

    • @tenniswarehouse
      @tenniswarehouse  Год назад

      I would say it is pretty much medium once you break them in for a couple of hours. They felt snug around the toe box on initial wear, but after a couple hitting sessions they opened up a bit. Troy, TW

      Does the 9 differ a lot from the 8 in this respect?
