Oh man, there are so so so many great songs to go through with this band. I can't begin to tell where to go next. 15 years of greatness ... anything you pick is going to surprise you and will not get bored, guaranteed! I am loving your reactions. Thank you!
I suggest "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019 for a follow up. Jinjer shines in their live performances. I just saw them in Toronto. It was an excellent show. Good Reaction (Subbed)
I was just thinking that you were maybe needing a reminder about Jinjer. Dont forget to do Perenial live from Wacken 2019. Edit:- i cant believe its only been 8 days since you dome Pisces, feels like ages ago.
Great! Happy you came back for some Jinjer.... They give you hardcore, jazzy notes, a sweet voice that screams at you 20 sec later; its beautiful and it's rage at the same time. Love it! "Teacher teacher" live official video or "Home back" from their album Macro Or you listen & react to something else of them; I'm happy either way! Much love y saludos desde Valencia 💚✌️
Not sure which song I will check out next but I'm pretty sure I want to check out another Live one. I really would like to see more of that. Appreciate you my friend! 🇪🇸🇪🇸 💜🤘🧸
Jinjer is actually doing a US tour right now. At the beginning of the full scale invasion of Ukraine the male members were not allowed to leave. Tatiana had already moved to the US. Some months later the Ukrainian government allowed the male members to leave and tour as official cultural ambassadors of Ukraine. They have been doing that ever since raising money for Ukraine while they tour. This song is off of their first full length album before they were signed to a record company. Three years later they were signed to Napalm and the record company re-released that album which is pretty unusual. This is the current lineup playing that song. Other great songs from that album are No Hoard of Value, Cloud Factory and A Plus or a Minus. Some good more recent ones would be Judgement and Punishment One Take Vocal, Perennial Live at Wacken Open Air 2019, Sit Stay Roll Over Live in Melbourne. That's just a short list though. They have so many good ones on video. Some of the best are live.
I enjoyed reading your comment. I tend to lean towards Live videos first from Bands since those tend to be my favorites. Especially from Acts like Jinjer who are great live. Appreciate you friend! 🤘🧸
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow One I forgot to mention. Recently Jinjer did a video with Audiotree called Jinjer | Audiotree From Nothing. In that video they do live sessions of three of their songs and talk about the history of the band, their writing process and their friendships. It's a great watch and some reactors have reacted to it.
This is one of their earliest recordings with their new and current drummer, Vladislav Ulasevish. This is sometime in late 2017. That live session of Pisces you saw was recorded in late 2017, and this is sometime after that, because she has started her left arm tattoos, which were not at all started in the Pisces video. Vlad is the most underrated drummer in all of metal IMO.
Vlad seems so "Calm and collected". He has definitely grabbed my attention. I totally had a part in there (sound problems) about how I really liked his T-shirt! 😂🤘🧸

just phenomenal live, for sure. i'd personally point you at "i speak astronomy". their live performance of it from wacken is out of this world (pun fully intended).
@@JohnnyFoxtrotshow Nah second. The only downside is that both times they've been the support act so its a limited set, i just hope that they change it up from the last time.
They have a song - 'Call Me a Symbol' where the video was released about three months after the war started. 3 YEARS AGO! The guys were in Ukraine at the time and they had to serve the war effort for months before they were allowed to leave and tour again as Cultural Ambassadors for Ukraine. Tatiana was in LA at the time so she was ok. Other than the fact that her country was now at war with Russia. Their album coming out soon has some BRUTAL songs addressing the war. Check out 'Rogue' if you want to see their anger expressed.
This is a protest song off of their Cloud Factory album. This, along with many others on that album have lyrics that you'd find on a punk album...they just happen to be a metal band.
Yes, this is a protest song, mainly calling out pollution and challenging listeners to stand up and fight for their future. Environmental themes recur throughout 2014's Cloud Factory album, where this song first appeared. If memory serves, this performance is from 2018, the year after the Pisces Live Session was recorded. This is a performance of a re-arrangement of the track for one guitar (2 guitarists played on the studio track, but the 2nd guitarist left the band before this performance), and it outshines the studio recording in every possible way, right down to the feedback. The reggae outro, which is a hat-tip to Bob Marley, is a taste of the more progressive tendencies that were beginning to emerge at the time. There is indeed a new album expected soon (January / February release). They have released official music videos for 2 songs - "Rogue" and "Someone's Daughter" - from the forthcoming album. They are currently touring North America.
I can understand that. I'm a bit of the same. I need to be in the mood for really any of the styles of music I listen to. She is something special and I really enjoy the musicality side of JINJER. 🤘🧸

Another mood dependent band, the vocals are probably a little too harsh for me most of the time, but absolute respect for her talent.
