Congratulations that you overcame these challenges and now settled in USA😊 Looking beautiful Ritu. Nice ear rings. Prashant is ur rock solid partner, support 😊👍
I came with my family last year in new york and i had faced each of these challenges which you had mentioned in your video..This video took me back to those days...Now life is settled ..Nice video and ofcourse i am in 30% who had already subscribed..Thanks once again.
Yes. Very true. We all face like this type of situations abroad. Well exlpained. Thank you Ritue ji & parshant ji. With love & respect from Karachi ( Pakistan ).
Indeed what u hv narrated here is true word by word. My song with his family shifted to New York five yrs back ,his narration was exactly word by word as yours. How adorable u both r. Reminds me my son nd his family.
9:3010:45 exactly matching with my current situation. Having 7 years of IT background in India but in current situation from last 4 months I’m struggling to get a job in my location. 😢
Oh Ritu!!I You have stirred my emotions.I can relate to all the points you have mentioned in your vlog.I too came to the US with my grown up children who are well settled in their jobs now but initial months were not that easy. Moreover the emotional turmoil & loneliness one goes through makes life difficult here.
I d9nt understand why we say loneliness and food. We came by choice and we indian expect that other should accept indian food and culture then why we should not. Stop stop saying loneliness and all that. I am very happy as i made decision to be in usa. Usa is very very welcoming country
Why not ? ...it's a fact that we miss our home cooked food n people.but clearly that's not our priority n that is y we move out.but there is no wrong in accepting the same
Recently I have seen many You-tube videos that are anti-usa. They get more views when they talk negative about USA. Many indians start saying "we are so happy in India blah blah"... May be the You-tuber gets more views and money when he thrashes USA. USA is a great country. Nobody writes positives of USA because these RUclipsrs have not lived here long enough to compare the 2 countries in a right way! What do they mean by loneliness is very surprising to me. Are they referring to not seeing enough Indian people on each street? Isn't that known before they come here??
The people that complain about USA keep coming back again and again until they get a green card and then they stop complaining. I am saying this with my own observation of indians here in USA. Of course food habits are different in every country, we can always cook Indian food at home and there are tons of Indian restaurants around. Some people want US dollars as paycheck and also want roadside panipuri, a matured person knows these two are not a combination in USA.
14:00 Foreign countries jaaker asli rang dikjata log ka , literally foreign ke andar friendship is just purely diplomatic.... Never ever trust your roommate or even cousin brother.... She said correct like minded, free nature people always connect but Introvert ku toh door hi rakho aur thoda bhi hint hua Introvert hai bhai bas uske paas se 1000000000000 Kilometer door bhago.... I think people who are come on loans, from small town, village grownup are mostly introvert...They give priority & preference to them first in each situation & never think 1% to the people who stays with them or helped them in tough situation.... Just Test people regularly in small small situations & you will understand their nature & just leave them or if you are ok then adjust with no help with them.....
Very nice couple. I don't want to migrate to US but I just like listening to your talk. Yes, I have visited the US once and I have a multiple entry visa but no, I am happy in India.
Every place has it's own other side of the coin. A new place always full of struggle but fortunately , these days a lot of our own people are already there who are helpful to the newcomers.
Despite all these challenges still everyone wants to move abroad aur koi wapas nahi aana chahta. These days ek hod lagi hui hai bahar jaane ki usa or canada
This is actually sad and depressing . Why leave your country and live in foriegn country like refugees? India has very good weather. Every single person I know want to create debt and go to US for study. Work like slave and pray to obtain green card.

Regarding creating credit history once you get your SSN you can apply for secured credit cards by Capital One Bank or Discover. After paying on time for like six months you can get your money back that you paid upfront and your credit score and history will be good after 9-12 months
Congratulations Ritu you hv made your USA journey successful , In this blog u hv given eye opener blog, those who are seeing Chand Sitare will cm to know d reality , you keep going strong always wish u both grt time super achievement 🎉
America has always welcomed immigrants from world over since last 250 years or maybe even earlier. Different ethnicities at different times mass migrated to USA in search of better opportunities. These ethnicities enriched the culture of NA and today we are able to enjoy various cultures and diversity in NA thanks to the immigration friendly nature of America. It is rare to find a location in the world that is more friendly to immigrants. Majority of immigrats are able to easily adapt to American way of life which is indeed very very diverse. Travelling within America is as good as travelling the whole world. Some parts are predominantly British, some more Italian, others are Spanish inclined and now we have some portions that are Indian/Chinese/South Asian influenced. Hope you find your sweet spot here.
Hi Ritu and Prashanth, you both are very intelligent and lovely couple and thank you so much for the wonderful Information about US and its very useful to everyone and appreciate your simplicity in sharing the things so frankly and loved the vlog, life is tough in foreign countries, take care, ❤ Radhika

Hi Ritu Can you share your some feedback, do's and don'ts with 2 year old kid as I need to move in Ohio if you suggest something it will be really helpful for us
Whatever it is life is much better in US/UK/Dubai/Au. You people have the kind of money to enjoy life. India mein hum jaise middle class ka paas paise ki hamesha problem rehta hai. For you guys who are living in the US can afford so many premium brands like Old Navy, Payless shoes, JC Penny. Sab kuch! Baki sab kuch kya hi struggle hai. Accent toh samajh aa hi jati hai.
Over there do we get all the groceries needed to make food at home? Like I want to eat let say Franky or dosa or Pani Puri all the ingredients needed do we get in stores?

You get everything , but taste wise its not that good as in India
Then do we have to carry everything when we come to USA?
We have to carry the spices and herbs and all khana khazana?
