Feta and Parsley Cheese Bread - Poğaça Tarifleri - Turkish Cuisine

- Poğaça is a Turkish bread filled with cheese, black olives or meat. Pogaca found in the cuisines of the Balkans, and Turkey. Pogaca bread is my favourite which I enjoy with a cup of tea for breakfast or in the evening. It is very easy to make at home. You can make smaller ones if you like. They are absolutely delicious straight from the oven, but they also keep well for a few days. The next day (if any left!), you can microwave them for 10 seconds or gently heat under the grill, soooooooo delicious. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

INGREDIENTS:
2 large Eggs تخم مرغ
1 cup Warm Milk شیر
1 cup Water آب
1 cup Olive oil روغن زیتون
1 tablespoon Sugar بوره
1 teaspoon Salt نمک
1 1/2 tablespoons Yeast خمیر مایه
1 teaspoon Baking powder بیکینگ پودر
8 cups Plain flour آرد سفید
Fillings:
1 cup chopped Parsley جعفری
500 g Feta cheese پنیر فتا
2 Eggs yolks زرده تخم مرغ
2 tablespoons Milk شیر
Sesame seeds دانه کنجد

Hi how do you make sure the dough is cooked through? Especially from the bottom? How long before do you preheat your oven or any other technique? Thank you
I usually turn my oven on 10-15 minuets before. I adjust my oven to 180’C and I don’t open the door too many times. After 15 minuets I open once and check under it or if it is cake, I insert a toothpick in the centre. If it comes out clean it is ready

I do it sometimes with meat like chicken or mince meat mixed with vegetables and cheese or potatoes mixed with meat or vegetables

Can we make the recipe half or make whole and freeze the half ? Is it also called fatayr in Arabic ?
That's what i do always. I freeze more than half because we are just 3 people and can't finish them all :-)
