The truly soul is there James...
Wonderful solo and outro....truly fabulous rendition of an iconic song and that guitar sounded awesome.
This song was made for that treatment! I am absolutely enthralled
What a neat cover James! We took a different angle with this, but I like yours more! The emotion in your playing is stellar!

😊Well done 🏆🎼🎵🎶🎷
I hope you post more, its amazing! YT algo has not been kind to you.
My personal life doesn't allow me the time it takes to make these videos at the moment, unfortunately. That being said, I have about 10 videos recorded that just need the audio mixed, but audio mixing isn't my strong suit.
I'll try get them finished and uploaded as soon as I can - thank you for the support.
Top notch cover buddy.
❤❤❤
Wonderful cover!
Holy hell dude... I initially intended to just leave a message complimenting your tone, which is awesome... but your technique is flawless while still being soulful... Working in a music store has made me hard to impress, but that was STELLAR.
Really appreciate the kind words mate, I’m glad you enjoyed it! 🎸
Amazing playing James..!

Amazing
Thank you! 🙏
Dude would you share the tab for this !? It’s insane
Amazing , do u have tabs for this?
Thanks for the comment and the sub! I haven’t made any tabs as of yet, apologies - I will dig out my guitar pro software and look to make tabs available in the near future, at least for my most popular videos. At the moment I do not have much time, so most of my efforts go into creating more videos when I can. It’s definitely on the cards though, watch this space! 🎸
Great cover!!! How many guitar tracks do you have on this? At first I thought two, but I think I hear three in some parts and there could be four with the harmonies. Excellent and well done lots of soul and very nice personal touches on this.
Hey Nicholas, thanks so much for watching! Lots of guitar parts for this one - I prepped the backing track with 6 ‘backing vocal’ harmony parts before recording the video. Then there’s the main lead guitar ‘vocal’, which is what you see me playing live in the video.
There are also 2 clean rhythm guitars (also on the video) - I decided to double layer this at the mixing stage, because it was very difficult to get the clean guitar to cut through with all the other guitar parts going on. Mix could definitely be better, but I’m pleased with how it turned out!
Thanks again! 🙏🎸
@@JamesGarrickGuitar thanks for the reply. I’m just getting into home recording guitar and finding that having multiple vocal harmony tracks helps smooth everything over. Lots of hard work. Never would have guessed six but I guess that is a testament to the mixing being really on point because it melds together very nicely!
