- I really like this song so I wanted to see what could be done by Leppardizing it. There's some cool clean guitar parts that I try and highlight but the rest is quite sparse as there's a lot of intricate chords being used. It was a fun challenge to try and find parts to hit certain notes. The Sax solo is great too and translating it to guitar opened my ears to certain notes I don't normally bend because of finger positions. But I did make sure to add some Phil right at the end :P . Hope you enjoy. :)

Had this guy been around doing stuff like this in ‘87 I have no doubt that he would have been recognized for his ability to not only play, but come up with his own licks and renditions to these songs. He would have been recruited by Mutt Lange or someone from Mercury Records, Artista, Columbia, or Sony to help write some of the music for these bands and have helped arrange and even perform on songs. You have a gift, sir.

Not hate, as I do a similar thing, take an 80s or catchy song without guitar, and play along with my own embellishments. But without the songs/players existing in the first place, influencing my style I would be unable to do so. I am not currently doing anything that in years to come people will be referencing. That said he plays well in a style that I can appreciate. If I existed in the 80s I would probably be playing along with 60s songs with my own embellishments.. If you catch my drift.

This song to me like Heaven Is A Place On Earth is 80s pop perfection and your cover is another one of my favorites off the channel. The guitar riffs are so tasteful and the solo is superb. especially the little guitar lick you added to the end of it. Overall, this cover is perfection as well. I wouldn’t change a note of it.

This is great. I love the idea of recreating stuff like this with more rock-oriented instrumentation while maintaining as much of the original vibe as possible. Everything you played was dynamically perfect.

It's close - both are fantastic covers with beautifully orchestrated guitar bits added. The part from 0130 in the Heaven cover is just genius. Such a pity that this guy wasn't on some of these original records!

Very nice sound and playing technique. Orchestration of a piece is another great aspect of producing final overall sound. I played bass and key on that piece doing covers with bands back in the days....if you every in Ireland, bring that Guitar!.

The first time I heard this was on the movie “Three Men and a little lady” I was in awe of it. this was the second time it knocked me on my ass. It was even better Leppardized.
I used to be the Bassist and Lead Vocalist Of my band in high school and I was learning lead guitar until I crushed my ring finger a couple of years ago. I have recently started dabbling in random covers of songs to try to relearn the chords to a few. This is one I’d like to be able to play again.
