I wish there was a true live performance of Shannon and George singing this. All I've found are lip syncs over the studio recording and then the solo performance from George. I think they're great singers, but always nice to see a true live performance.

I've watched several of their live performances of this song on various platforms and the presentation is always so flawless that but for a few subtle differences from the studio track you might think they were lip syncing the whole thing-- that's how good the vocals, keyboards, sax, and mix sound. Great songwriters and singers.

After it became a top ten hit around the world Whitney stated it was the worst mistake of her career turning it down.

I'm 73 so i've been through a few decades ! The 80's were the absolute best. Great music, great movies and no frikkin cell phones !!
