This song is so rare to find it live.. they played it during a few shows in Japan 2012, then in Mexico it was added in 2 dates but the 3rd one in Mexico City was changed by Never Go Back (no complaints tho since I heard it in the original key and hard rock version.... but a lot of friends from Guadalajara and Monterrey that are evfans did got to listen to the song live.. after these shows in Mexico 2012, the song was never added back to the setlist up until 2015 for these 3 shows they played... the band asked European fans if they wanted this song or New Way to Bleed to be on setlist back in 2017 before the whole Synthesis recordings... but the fandom in Europe decided New Way to Bleed instead, so yeah, this song is one of those few Ev songs that has been played less than 10 times. Another extremely rare song that was almost never released and only got to be on their sestlist a few time, is the live if their song: If You Don't Mind which is a BSIDE from The Open Door.

Helllo Mike - always great to see more reactions! esp Evanescence lol. I know u have all of my Evanescence requests along with Linkin Park and Muse etc… so just another random bit of information - I was actually at this 2015 LA show lol… the band had not done a concert since 2012 and they announced they were playing this big festival in Japan (if I remember correctly)… so they announced 3 U.S. shows right before to kinda get back in the groove before playing that big festival. None of the dates were in nyc area so of course I had to travel to see them since I hadn’t seen them in years and was super excited… the date of the L.A. show fell right in the last week of a 2 week vacation time off from work that I had in November so I turned it into a 2 week west coast trip of Vegas, San Diego and L.A. - the show was amazing , I remember it being so good to hear all the songs live again after 3 years of not seeing them… it was also the first and only time that I ever heard them perform “erase this” - I believe that was the first time they incorporated it into a live set….. just some random info for u haha - anyways looking forward to more reactions. - be well!

love it! if I'm not mistaken, this is the 1st Jen show in Ev :) you could react to all The Open Door album as you did with The Bitter Truth - it's ok if you take a little longer to finish it! I think for most of Ev fans it's their best album
Nice to see you back on the Evanescence reactions. I personally don't know if there is any deeper meaning behind this song besides what the lyrics say. I'm also curious if anybody else knows a deeper meaning to this song. Hopefully this I haven't reminded you too much, but I request you react to "Disappear" which is from the Self-Titled album (Deluxe version) as well as the Lost Whispers B-Side compilation album. If you don't mind please also react to the Live version of Disappear (Live at the Paramount, Huntington, NY 2016). I can attest that the quality of that video is much better. Sorry If I requested this way too many times. I try not to do that, but I will say the live version of Disappear is one of my favorite that I've seen. Hope all is well with you dude. Peace.

Hey thanks for the comment! So that is one of the few songs of theirs that I have heard prior to doing music reactions. I remember that one being on pretty regular radio rotation when it was released as a single. If I had heard the song only once or twice then maybe I'd have done a reaction to it, but that is a song I've heard too many times to count for it to be a legitimate reaction. Sorry!
