Fun fact! Those weren't special effects. The crew did use fire equipment to make those items melt. Including the stuff that would start to singe from the fire as she touched the books or looked at herself in the mirror was all real. Also, they did use real fire around Amy Lee. So that section with the fire, it had to be done right in one take.
I enjoyed every min of your triple header. I’m telling you man, your musical ear lol, I didn’t even realize the notes from End of the Dream and Far From Heaven, always enjoy your musician input. Looking forward to more Eve reactions :)
Mike, welcome back brother. I've missed your Evanescence reactions....you are simply one of the best reactors out there. This is a beautiful track that highlights Amy's stellar voice. Thanks for this, my man. 🤘😉
Jason Richardson. I agree, Mike is one of the best at doing reaction videos because he really goes the extra mile and gets in depth for both the lyrics and the music. Thanks Mike!
I loved this song! I think it feels kind of like she’s been through at least one relationship that ended badly and was afraid to open herself up to someone completely, but just couldn’t help it, then was still half expecting something to happen to ruin it. Very beautiful song to her husband.
Also the speech she gave live right before playing this was one of my all time favorites. Always makes me cry. You should check this concert out on Blue ray, it’s even more amazing!
Heeeey! Nice seeing you back, and with the Evanescence reactions 💯. My favorite version is the "Steinway Hall" loved it. Btw. Lol... I know you have heard already "The only one" but I dont know if you looks to the "The only one live sessions 2020" it's amazing, is the most recent version of the song. You should definitely check that out. Thanks for sharing man!!! 🙌
Hi Mike!!! Omg I watched the whole Steinway show, just soooo good. Omg. Just so reach into your heart and grip. How does she have this power??? So glad you enjoyed. On of my favorites
I loved your reaction and agree with you, the steinway session is amazing, and this is one of my favorites from the open door. About this presentation, it is at the end of an interview, its worth checking it out.
Hey Mike! Always happy to see u back and to watch ur videos! Glad u liked the song a lot! This is my favorite evanescence song to play on the piano btw lol. Some random facts for u, if I remember correctly, the Steinway hall session was actually an intimate private listening party for the synthesis album which was released the following month. Another random fact about the Steinway session was that it was on 10/3/17 which was the 11 year anniversary of the release of the open door which was released 10/3/06. She actually mentioned that before playing “good enough” which I believe was the only song she played live after the album listening session (I think - don’t quote me on that)… she also mentioned that Steinway was letting her take the piano on the synthesis tour. But yes thanks fir following our insight on listening to the intro before the music video… prob one of my fav evanescence music videos cuz of the symbolism with the song… u know I would really love to hear some sort of ranking of “the open door” songs in ur opinion, now that u have heard them all haha - but yes loved this reaction video and look forward to more! Be well!
Steinway Hall: this was right before 1st Synthesis tour, they let her take this piano on tour. She did an interview before, you should check that out. It was also an Open Door Anniversary, so she sang this live after they did a full listening party in that room of the Synthesis album. This was streamed live. Amy sang this impromptu at the VIP Soundcheck in Las Vegas in 2021, and was just as flawless. Such a special experience.
Thanks for reacting to the Steinway Hall version, I don't think I even knew that one existed. I'm assuming the video your friend sent you is their recent concert (forgot which country) that they put on their youtube page. It was around an hour long. I think it's the first livestream/concert recording with Emma (the bassist from Sick Puppies) in it.
To me, it sounds different because it sounds like a classical song with modern singing over it. The intro kind of sounds like Moonlight Sinata by Beethoven... not that I've heard it much but that's what I think. The choris is way shorter then what it usually is in Evanescence's music, it was only three lines long. At least I decided to just asume that the coris is the so called cautious part of the song.
I always love your reaction videos cause you are not pretending. You didint reaction to "erase this" by Evanescence yet? its an absolute banger. I wish you best of luck
Glad you're back, have missed seeing your reactions 🙂Amy and Dave Stewart from Eurythmics just released a cover of Love Hurts if you wanna check that out? And would you maybe want to react to Hi-Lo and Imperfection, the 2 new songs they made for Synthesis too?
Literally, one of the best "crys" inside a voice I have ever heard.....:)

Omg... he's back, he's back, HE'S BACK 🤘❤️ I'm so excited to watch this reaction, can't even be smart-assing (I know, it's shocking)... 😍

This is my most fav song of theirs aside from my immortal.

The 2nd live was just perfect and the positive feelings in this song, just awesome.

Yassss finally evanescence again!!!!
This songs intro with the piano is almost the same as the song “like you - by evanescence” they were composed together in a melody
Welcome back Mike! I hope you have been well. I loved your reaction. Its such a beautiful song
yeah!!! finally... now Speak to me, synthesis live too
The voice in the Steinway Hall virgin seems much much stronger more pronounced
Love it love it love it.
Thank you for this video Mike ❤️

This song made my eyes teary but im smiling.🥹🥹
Nice. She never fails. Try "The Other Side" on the Conan O'Brien show. The band rocks, and she sings her guts out. :)
You got to check this beautiful song cos it is visually and musically:
Klone - Yonder (short film from Le Grand Voyage)
!!!
Ah dude you are back, glad to see you well👍
Thank you brother, it appears I've alarmed some people but all is well! Personal life and work stuff has pulled me away! I hope you're doing well too
Beautiful song, a great downshift in the set.
Dude I’ve missed your Ev reactions so much!! I hope all is well :)
Great reaction as always
Please keep going with the Evanescence content 🤘
They used real fire in the music video.

Missed your Ev videos!!!

I know you're familiar with Call Me When You're Sober, but you really should check out the music video. It's their best one in my opinion
PLEEEEASE REACT TO LITHIUM AT THE SYNTHESIS LIVE SHOW
Amy Lee forever❤
Three versions? Was one not good enough?
