I've always enjoyed Shark Tale ever since I was a little kid and I still enjoy it today as a grownup as much as the other DreamWorks animated films from the early 2000s and I'm a 2000s person.

Shark Tale is an underrated classic. Despite the negative reviews, I still have a blast with this movie.
People obsess way too much. They either obsess over things they love, or they obsess over things they hate (could cite some very prominent examples that I’m thinking of here, but it would take the conversation in a direction I don’t overly wanna go). What really baffles me is why people obsessively hate on harmless things like this that are of no consequence whatsoever. We’ve got a bunch of people screaming in this very comment section about how Shark Tale is “THE WORST DREAMWORKS MOVIE EVER” and all that. Like, who cares? Really, what does it matter? If it’s not trying to push a big, arguably-destructive narrative or agenda, why the big to-do? I’m an overly aggressive, ruthless, and abrasive asshole in many ways, but even I don’t sustain myself by constantly hating on things that don’t matter at all. If I *was* about that obsessively negative life, I wouldn’t have gotten fed up and abandoned Twitter about four years ago, and I would watch the news so that I could be told what to be mad about each week. What is wrong with people? (That’s the eternal question, I know.)

Shark Tale is easily one of those guilty pleasures that I can’t help but like, despite its problems. Although I can’t believe this came out after DreamWorks’ masterpiece that was Shrek 2.

I will say, I love this movie, but its not a good movie, but not bad or terrible either.
It's a fun movie. In a critical sense, its bad, but in a general sense I nuch prefer watching it than many others like The Good Dinossaur for example
@@andrefelipe7865 i haven't seen the good dinossaur but in the films defense kind the film went though a lot of problems in production the had to replace directors and everything so maybe why its not so good
@@kelsey1467 yeah, I only discovered later on about the production problems. Nowadays I don't hate the movie, but I can still say its my least favorite. I can only wonder what the original vision would be like, but in the end the movie released as it is.

Wow Sophie I’m glad you enjoyed this movie and I don’t understand the hate in which I had no idea until the mid 2010’s. I remember seeing this at the movies 20 years ago when it released with my pops. Speaking of which, happy Father’s Day to your dad and relatives and the rest of you guys watching.

This had some good casting and the soundtrack was also pretty good. I remember going on a double date to the theater to see this wow I feel old.

It's a very ok movie, but it's refreshing to see someone walk in "blind" and just enjoy the ride rather than dissect any imperfections it had.
This movie, specifically, has gotten panned so hard for not being up to par with Dreamwork's other projects, but it's not a hateful or boring experience, which would make it a lot worse imo

Its like an aquatic version of Godfather/a obnoxious douchey person that "killed" the son of the mob boss who so happens to be viewed as a fame seeking legend
I can understand why 50% of people like it and hate it. Btw, the protagonist himself is the worst part of the movie (at least, Lightning McQueen learned to grow out of his shell and find what makes a difference in life)
If you haven't already, I STRONGLY suggest you track down the outtakes. Cause trust me, the movie itself may suck, but they were laughing their heads off trying to record their lines.

This movie was poorly received, especially when compared to Finding Nemo… it was basically a rip off of that movie. Everybody thought that Finding Nemo was the better film. Dreamworks have copied Pixar before
I’m glad you enjoyed this movie! You should check out the movie 9 (2009), it’s one of my childhood movies and it’s very underrated and forgettable
