I’ve had my 2018 LC since it was new. I absolutely love this car. It still makes me smile even just looking at it, and giggle when I let it rip. I’ve had probably 30 cars in my life and nothing has ever come close to the feeling that I get with this car. The LC is not a spec sheet car. It’s not a Swiss Army knife of utility and function. It’s a FEELING car. And the way it makes me feel is priceless.

@@savagegeese Now that the audio is select premium, do you have any plans for the livestream? You had a great milestone of 500k, thought we would have a blow-up party at Arby's drive through...
Brands like Porsche show us that we overshot the mark. A spiritual message about balance and the unwise strife for robotic perfection. We have better tech than is good for us.
the fact that Koji Sato and Akio Toyoda themselves drove this thing to see how good it is, is enough for me. I'm sold... I mean man, they're the ones who make Toyota / Lexus up to this point, with Sato especially overseeing the Gazoo Racing. i'm sure there won't be a better person to do this but them.
You're the best car reviewer on RUclips, which is really saying something. There's a bunch of car review channels and many of them are quite good, but none of them match your cinematography or technical depth. I've been subscribing to your channel since you did this part time. It's been a pleasure to watch your popularity grow. @Heini Grünbaum they got the job done already, to keep revenues flowing like waterfall. Maybe their ways of engineering doesn't mesmerize us no more, like switching to V8 Biturbo and their signature designs to name things. This opens new opportunities to snatch the creme de la creme of cars title for all other manufacturers. It's an open game, and that's what makes it interesting for us costumers. They're being more competitive more than ever.
I wonder why they made it that big in the first place. I had the same impression when I got for a test drive,. I awaited a rather smaller car, and was surprised. My second surprise was the lack of space in regard to the size of that thing.
Every time I look at this car, I feel like I'm looking at some dream of how 50s automobiles would look with modern technology. For me this is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.
I love this car. Had been saving for a 996 or 997 Turbo when the pandemic drove prices through the roof. Discovered the LC 500 and can't get enough of it. Literally saw one last night coming back from dinner with my wife and we stopped to look at it. "OH my! That's gorgeous! You should lease one" direct quotes from my wife. I love the fact that you've posted this video the very next morning. Now to figure out what the local ADs will do for me
just bought GSF and still drive my 996.1 manual cab w sports exhaust. If you are done with manual transmissions that v8 5.0 auto is enough. The drastically lower weight of the 911 per is always noticeable. If your wife digs LC, go get it.
I Own one of these i got mine in the middle of Covid Lock-Down in NYC i paid 82,500 for a inspiration series, 90k out the door Worth every single penny It feels like a 160k car and like you said Mark the noise it emits under throttle, Just sheer magnificence i brought it after hearing you rant about it countless times i must have seen your previous LC500 videos about 25 times a piece but the Vehicle ALWAYS put a smile on my face its always an event when you pilot it and u get a ton of 👍🏼 everywhere you go if it wasn’t for you Mark i would had gotten the RS5 Sportback … Forever thankful i came across your channel
Bought a "used" 2020 in October of 2020. Was shopping for 2018, coming from a Porsche 718, but ended finding the 2020 for almost the same price as a 2018. Here in Canada, you don't have option choices.... you take either base or fully loaded. Most on the market are fully loaded. I have to say that I appreciate the dual personality... great cruiser when you need it to be, good toy when you want to monkey around a bit. Not as fun as my 718 (manual), but enough to satisfy. Don't care much about the lack of space or storage... I knew what I was getting in when bought. My only complaint so far is the sport seating. And my fault for being a large-ass boy. Cushion bolster too narrow and makes it uncomfortable for large ass boys for long rides. But again, this was known to start with. Still hoping to loose weight for the next season !!!
I'm a bit "heavy" myself and have had several cars with sporty seats that hurt in the second hour. Yours, in my opinion, is the right attitude to have. The seats are great - I just need to lose weight! It's hard to go back to those park benches they put in normal cars when you're used to the firm and confident embrace of "sport". Like driving without a seatbelt, I just feel naked.
@@cullendelmore2614 funny you say that... in the summer most of the time I drive the sports car (this year the LC). So whenever I drive my other car (an LS460), the first few miles are horrendous, as I don't turn the steering wheel enough when turning, and I feel my butt sliding on the seat while doing so. It's like I'm about to slide off the boat 😂
I bought a used 2018 with under 9k miles. Much like yourself I was coming from a manual car (F-Type). Fully loaded is the way to go. Rear-wheel steering makes the car usable in the city!
I LOVE this car. I'm glad you bought one. Honestly, it's a true enthusiast's car. It's a driver's car, and a GT all in one. I think Toyota did a marvelous job with it (drawbacks aside). I'm glad people are buying these.
@@Nemixx I respectfully disagree. It wears many hats. The fact that you can beat on it on a track, or do a cross-country trip, comfortably, proves my point. It does a lot of things really well. I'm not claiming it's perfect. No car is perfect. It's just really good at doing the things I subjectively look for in a car.
@@dan5087 I mean, you can beat on any car at the track and there's better cars for cross country trips. I think this is a great car albeit a bit overpriced. But I would never consider it a driver's car or a gt. Maybe a luxury/muscle cruiser
Wow Goose, I remember hounding you everyday for the LC500 review - now you're a connoisseur. I'm really looking into getting one of these after I'm done with my lease.
I did an event for the release of the lc500 years back. It's amazing and feels its worth but I was shocked how little space there is inside for a car its size. It will definitely become a future classic.
@Just think The infotainment is not bad at all. I have a 2020 Lexus LS500. It takes 10 minutes to figure out. I honestly sometimes wonder if humans are reducing in their intellectual capacity. It literally takes little time to put on ac, seat warmers, etc.
@@mob4ever don't defend it, it's objectively bad compared to how easy all of that is in the competitors. New Golf GTI owners make the same argument for their touch controls when we all know it's just worse /not good design. The rest of the Lexus is stunning
@Just think at that point it would lose its handling for more practicality. The biggest issue I have with it is its mediocre trunk. I know it's due to suspension design but it's absolutely pitiful. I could overlook the small interior as its basically a 2 seater with a back for cheaper insurance but it's basically going head to head with the miata for trunk storage
@Just think I never said it was a track car. A grand tourer is a lux car that can handle at a decent pace. What savage is doing is his choice but for what this car was designed to do, it's fine for the most part. The storage is my only knock. Most people just wana feel fast not actually do it
From the Mazda 3 vid to the LFA.. you capture the true emotions and connection people can have to their vehicle and lifting up the hood of the manufacturers expression as well and tying that all together is what makes your content special. It’s what being a car owner/enthusiast is about!
I just picked up a 2021 convertible. I absolutely love this car, and let me tell you, so do many others.....and they say it to me. It’s also very rare to see one around. It truly is a very special car that looks like no other, so it turns many heads. Being that I bought it as a weekend / down time car, I can live with some of the shortcoming like the lack of storage space and the trackpad infotainment system which is pretty cumbersome. It’s really a lot of fun, especially with the top down, and clearly very reliable. This car offers me personally, exactly what I wanted it for. It’s a luxury sport GT, that has enough power to enjoy, and is very comfortable. I’m never going to the track with it, and I’m never racing anyone with it.....it’s not what I got it for.
I appreciate your take on the LC. I'd been researching the vehicle for two years and finally bought a used 2020 with 7500 miles. Literally the only experience I've had that's different from yours is the seat comfort. I picked it up from out of state and drove it 1600+ miles home. It was literally the first vehicle I've driven that caused me zero back or hip pain the entire ride. I was floored at how well-bolstered the driver seat is, and continue to feel that way. Great review and very honest. If you truly understand what niche this vehicle is intended to fill, it's pretty much impossible to be anything but joyful once you own one.
@thomashui87 I have the sport Alcantara seats and have been very happy with them. I've had leather in the past in other vehicles, and the only difference I'm noticing is how they grip. You really feel strapped in and supported in the cockpit. You don't get the "luxury" feel and smell of leather obviously, but this is a true GT car and I love the tight bolstering. If I were you I'd look around local Lexus dealers and drive some used examples with different seats, could be helpful.
@@LBCosmicConcerns Sure, but have you driven any cars with 4 cyl turbos before? I don't care how much power they make, they will never feel as refined, effortless or fun as a V6 or V8. Also not to mention, they don't sound good.
With the market and how it is going. I hope Lexus will stand out with only the following engines available. hybrid, ev and v8. If they are the few or last maker releasing na v8 it will pull people from the German makers. Please don’t end the v8, just have hybrid, ev and v8.
A great, unbiased review. Thank you. I looked at this car but I ended up keeping my E coupe. I am grateful to Akio Toyoda for inspiring and green-lighting cars that aren't SUVs.
Mark you’re the reason why I bought an RC-F, I was already in love with it but you SOLD me on it with your review! So happy to be apart of the Lexus family with you, hoping to get an LC in the future too!
The design is over 3 years old at this point and it still looks very fresh. It's one of the few cars where the production car lived up to the concept. And the sound of that V8 hitting the rev limited gives me goosebumps. You can make electric cars as fast as you want, but they will always be missing the excitement of an engine going through the gears. I hope the next generation of car enthusiasts gets to experience this, even if it's just a POS Miata with a loud exhaust on it.
Emotions over specs is the only way I really shop for cars. As a lexus/toyota owner for my whole life, the negatives here become part of life that you can't leave for a day.
I've disliked the Lexus design language ever since they moved away from the original LS400, SC300, GS300 and ES300 in the mid 90's. But I can unequivocally say I LOVE the look of the LC500 inside and out. It's cohesive, original and built like a Swiss watch. And the 472 hp 2UR-GSE V8 is an absolute gem.
I wished they benchmarked the styling of their SUVs from BMW. They similar and offer more trunk space. I still dream of owning a used Lexus in the future, but for now I just hate the styling and low trunk space in the RX :) Saying that, the RX is very comfortable and quiet. It's just that the trunk is small.
@@valdius85 Lexus SUV's look horrible. The LX and GX look good only because they look like Toyota SUV's but the rest that have the true Lexus design look horrible. The LS, ES and IS do look nice and are not over styled or anything and have that reserved quiet look to them. I am not gone in the look of Lexus Coupe cars but they are ok in design and are extremely nice to drive but they are not pure race sports cars.
@@bighands69 RX is an overstyled lifted long hatchback :) It is well made and great on longer journeys, I give them that. My family owns a FWD 2.0T and the front wheels kept spinning in the mountains, in the summer. I was driving me nuts. This car really needs to be equipped with AWD, I think it's just to heavy and there is to much torque from the turbo engine. To be honest, Mazda CX-8 offers more trunk, better power and is only slightly lounder on the motorway. Much better looking as well. I'd prefer to borrow it over RX. I even prefer my Forester, at least it has a square usable trunk and decent AWD :) All I want to say, I was surprised how much I hate my uncles RX. I'm a big Toyota, but not the RX. :) New LC300 is my new dream car. Especially after seeing in real life few times already in Tokyo's dealerships. I hope next gen Prado will be as cool :)
Didn’t realise you’d got one but your LC content has put one at the top of my saving up list. I’m struggling to get a test drive in the UK with dealers being reluctant to let me take one out (50 years old, impeccable driving record) but I’ll keep trying It was v helpful to hear the model year changes - learnt something new there and I thought I’d done my homework.
It is their loss if they will not let you test drive the car. They are a luxury coupe car but you can also get that in a BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Porsche or Bentley do different degrees. Every Toyota dealership should also be a Lexus dealership.
I don't know why, but when Mark starts talking how not practical the LC500 is I think about how it reminds of the current generation of the Camaro. Not saying they're on the same playing field, but as a Camaro SS owner I can relate. LC500 is quite interesting. Maybe a possible car down the road for me.
@@DearMajesty It's actually not a letdown for sure. I enjoy driving it. In fact, performance wise I find it better then most within the price range and a little beyond especially on the track and back roads.

I have the Mark Levinson system in the IS350 that I just leased and I don’t even give a shit about the CarPlay because I have that DAC. Turn the music up to at least 30 and just enjoy… your music comes ALIVE! It’s one of the best purchases I’ve made!
IDK if I'm just a fanboy of yours or what but this is how I feel about my second Stinger, at least for my personal price point, reminds me so much of this car, which you'd made my dream machine.
The audio mixing at 24:50 on with the induction noise in the background is amazing. I have a Dolby Atmos enabled tablet and the left channel sounded like it was right next to my head! Awesome video, Mark

I seriously want this car!!!! I have seen a couple in my town and it always turns heads! this might be the only V8 id shill money for, considering my everyday is a hybrid.
100% one of the greatest feelings driving my infrared 2018 LC. Picked it up this May and it's still exciting every single day I step into it. I've owned a 2018 982 Cayman 718 GTS, a 2013 Scion FR-S and a 2016 991 911, and while the Porsches were especially driver focused cars, made to rip through turns with precision and speed, this car is the perfect mix of luxury, sound and breathtaking looks. It's more quiet and comfortable than anything I've owned before and sounds better than all of my previous cars. It truly is a masterpiece, not to mention, an absolute work of art. I highly recommend it for any car enthusiast🙏🏻
Long ago I watched your first LC500 video, and as a result I have long eyed these cars. They seem attainable to normal middle-class people, especially given Lexus reliability and the availability of used examples. My mother is near retirement and wants to go out with a bang--some kind of V8 two door vehicle. A new Mustang GT is the likely possibility. But she loves how these cars look, and hey I'd rather have a 5 year old LC500 than a brand-new Mustang GT. They'll have to get under $50k used for that pipe dream to happen, and realistic concerns like that caught my ear when you talked about increasing insurance rates. I had no idea these cars have fancypants trunk lids and doors. Hopefully they cheapen up used. And hopefully them cheapening up used doesn't result in people crashing them and pushing those insurance rates further up.
Bought a fully loaded 2019 LC500 Coupe used with about 12k miles on it. Red with black interior. The only other cars that made me smile every time I see it and drive it like the LC was my 2017 manual transmission Corvette GS and my 1986 BMW E30 323i... This is the crown jewel so far... I absolutely love the dual personality...
I absolutely loved this video! I've gone to the Lexus drive events and have driven the '18, '19, and '20 models. Your assessment is spot on. Loved the IS500 cameos!
wow! the sound experience of the intro is amazing! I was blown away. I had to replay it with the volume turned up to to fully immerse myself in it. just wow!
Yeah, those crying headlights make it look like one of those dog breeds that always has gunk coming from the corners of its eyes. I'd still have to buy that beautiful yellow, though. It shows off this beautiful car best.
I hesitated to watch this video because I went with another car. I looked at the LC, Cayman GTS 4.0, and a base 992. I already have two other toy cars so this purchase needed to be something with daily drive practicality and way above average driving experience. Found it difficult to drive one, it was easier to drive 992's than the LC. Some of that is how the local Lexus dealers view the "exclusivity" of their cars where driving a 100K car for them is a big deal. My local Porsche dealer regularly handed me keys to 150k Carrera S's...100k is low/average for those guys. I ultimately went with the base Carrera which should be arriving in a week or so. Finding that someone who knows what they are talking about and has daily driving experience with a vehicle I'm considering has given me much more confidence in my decision.
Well, that's makes sense lol😂, Lexus only has 3 vehicles that get into the 100k mark and that's that's LS, LC and LX, their flagship line, so I can see why they are hesitant unlike Porsche who I feel sells 100k cars every day lmaoo
Great review Mark, I enjoyed driving the LC500 at COTA during the Lexus Experience earlier this year. I felt like I could safely drive it as hard as I wanted to and had a blast. Of course on the track you couldn’t get away from how heavy this car is especially on corner turn in. If you were too fast the understeer was quite noticeable. But oh that V8 exhaust and torque was addictive. I do agree that it could be used as a DD but not practical due to cargo space. Keep the content coming!
Amazing video. I’ll never drive my LC like you have done but it’s great to know it handles so well in the right hands. It’s the best car I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned plenty. Wherever you go people want to talk about it.
Just a brilliant video. Mark always pinpoints the purpose of a car, and talks about it that way. The LC is just what Im looking for. Not 800hp, with no noise, and sterile, but an engaging, emotional experience. I honestly think these cars will appreciate as time goes on.
Bought a 2021 in Nightfall Mica performance pack all thanks to Mr. Goose. This video is spot on for real world ownership. Top 3 bests of the LC so far: 1. Best dual personality I've experienced. In Eco or Comfort mode, it cruises like a freaking luxury sedan with a hint of road noise still present. Switch to Sport+ mode, steering feel and suspension tightens, step on the gas pedal it turns into a roaring beast front to back with occasional crackles under load from the exhaust. It's incredible. 2. Best sound system by Mark Levinson: besides the heavenly exhaust sometimes music is still necessarily on a longer trip. The sound system in the LC is incredibly balanced, I'd consider it hi-fi on wheels or at least close to it. The highs are actually extensive and airy, bass is tight and impactful, you hear more details musically presented compare to the Bose in the Porsche, which is a bit bass heavy, Meridian in the Jaguar, no experience with Burmester, B&W or Naim in Bentley though. 3. Best original design. Mr.Goose has said enough about this. Originality and unique design are important over a certain price point. 2 nitpicks: 1. Any mode besides Sport+, ride is a bit too floaty, especially over wider bumps, so you get thrown in the air. Maybe 21 model is tuned to be even more soft. 2. Android Auto, because of the finnicky infotainment system, entering address on Android Auto navigation takes forever. Best use Apple Carplay, punch in the address on the phone and then connect to the car. Handling wise it's very precise and quick for its size, but not quite the same to a Porsche. For the money, the LC500 is probably the best car you can buy.
About your first nitpick, do you mean that 21 model year might be better in non-sport mode settings? Can you elaborate? Which model year suspension is better?
@@riccileggio According to Mark, earlier model years, 18,19 have very stiff suspension, where 20 and forward are tuned to be softer. I only have experience with the 21 model year, and I find the suspension to be a little too soft, you feel the chassis moves around when turning a corner. So I drive it almost exclusively in Sport+ mode but still wish there is less bounce over bumps. I'd think earlier model years with the stiffer suspension may have better body control, although the lack of comfort somewhat defeats its grand tourer nature.
I have an older, mundane Lexus sedan, and when it was in for routine service recently, the dealership had a low mileage '18 LC 500 on the lot for $79K. I sat in the car and they let me start it (I declined a test drive), which was damn near enough to make me say "I'll take it"...not that I could realistically afford it. As much as I covet this car for all the reasons Mark did when he decided to lease one, I appreciate how he offsets his enthusiasm for the LC 500 by talking about the negatives of the ownership/leasing experience. As captivating and unique as this car is, it would have been a huge mistake for me to stretch financially for what is ultimately an impractical car that wouldn't be a good daily. Another great, honest, real-world useful video from savagegeese. Here's hoping Lexus closes out the model run with a special edition track-ready variant that has adequate cooling and no annoying gauge pop-up warnings so Mark can get the LC 500 of his dreams.
You not only do car reviews but teach as well man I gotta say the detail and knowledge about the vehicles you review is top notch I appreciate the time and dedication that goes into these videos
I've owned my RC-F for 2 yrs now. Loved every damn second of it. As crazy as it is to believe given the last 1.5 yrs, I still drove it every single day despite wfh etc.
Following a review that you guys did a couple of years ago, I took the opportunity to buy a ex-Lexus corporate RC 350. As a daily driver, I love it. It is by far the most expensive and best car I’ve ever owned. I’ve seen the LC in the dealership brand new looks stunning, but in our backward country the LC is worth $260,000+AUD so not on the cards for now.
I've looked at the LC500, I love it but out of my price range. I am, however looking to purchase an RCF next year. I am so infatuated with the 2UR V8 engine. Yamaha has done an exceptional job
LC500 has been at the top of my dream car list ever since your first video about it. Truly something extremely special. Reminds me why Lexus is the best.
I wonder if the cooling and suspension items you talked about were items that would have been saved for an LC F that we won't be getting? Maybe an F sport package could add those track items
Those items are conspicuously absent from this car but present on all the -F cars, yeah safe bet that's what Lexus was waiting for. I genuinely hope that the later cars get it and that it can be retrofitted, either as a recall item or as a voluntary option.
@@davepaturno4290 traditionally, the full F cars are 20-30k more than their counterparts, I have no idea what the pricing will be but that seems to be fairly consistent. If they name it F-Sport then maybe a 10k package if it keeps the same engine but slightly tuned with an appearance change.
Awesome honest review. May want to consider buying it and then immediately selling it because the used car market is out of control and you’ll probably pocket some cash that you invested in some of those upgrades.
Dude....DUDE!! I won't say I (we) leased an LC500 (Western Canada) because of your videos on this car, but they were certainly a major - major - contributing factor so far as what got us interested in this car. We also leased a silver one - pre Covid by a short time, as we wanted it for spring of that year, and it had been sitting quite a while at a dealer so we also got a little bit of a discount/deal. I owned an LS400 way back when they were still a model on the dealer floor, circa 1996, but no Lexus since. I think of all the cars I've owned, this is my favorite, or at least top 3 (owned 53 cars in my life so far, and get a new one every year when possible). I spit up my drink when you said you were turning yours in to purchase one, as my missus and I came to the identical conclusion, albeit for slightly different reasons (we haven't driven this one hard really, ie no track, just a lot of highway KMs (sorry, miles).)) We tested out SO many other makes and models trying to find something similar-ish, for a new, and most importantly a better experience. It doesn't exist, not IMO, at least in this segment - and wider. Drove several BMW, MB, Jaguar, etc etc cars, and none did what the LC does in terms of a perfect balance. So, again, when this lease is up just before spring this year, we'll purchase a new one from our dealer (if there is any), and for something "new" for the year, probably also get a GR86 next door. I learned quite a bit from this specific video in terms of the changes between model years. This channel hands down has the best detailed information on cars on the internet.
Thanks for the amazing long-play content as usual. I've only ever sat in an LC500, and it's cliche, but, it made me feel like a million bucks. It sounds like you've had the same experience with yours. I can see this car having a dedicated following in the decades to come. A very unique, special car.
WOW! Finally a car review that's honest and to the point. THANK YOU. I'm just starting to research buying my first high-end luxury sports car and feel very lucky to have come across you and your work here. 😎👍Now off to do more research. Thanks again.
Not huge on the touring feel but it’s an amazing car for sure. Lexus makes incredible machines. V8 engines are the luxury engine of choice. They are extremely smooth and also offer great power. It is a pity that governments around the world are trying to get rid of them.
Glad you bought this i admire this car for its beautiful looks along with that fruity sounding NA V8 its unique in it's own way... And surely public on the roads must look at it and ask you about it that must be feeling of pride
I own a 97 SC300 and bought it as my "teenage dream car" because: Supra for not-Supra money. Owning the SC has made me realize that what I wanted from it and what I got, and what I now love even more is completely different. Something like the LC is definitely in my sights now instead of the A90, but I also desire "cheap fun", as my SC was by no stretch of the imagination a bargain for what was essentially a brand new car (50k miles) in 2018. I think if Lexus could make a hybridized (for the purpose of power & comfort, not fuel efficiency) luxury version of the GR86, that would be pretty dope, and I would lower my savings goal exponentially for when I eventually have to part ways with my SC and any other vehicle I have from now and until then. As for anyone who wants to drop the benjamins on an LC, YOU'RE THE MAN. What a guide. I haven't seen ANYONE on RUclips have such a professional and honest owner's opinion on any car.

Sounds like the LC is a proper flagship car. Really elevates the brand
He called it a boat, so it qualifies for flagship. 😁
I wonder why they made it that big in the first place.

@Azael Fantastically well! it only has 2,050 miles on it 2019 model year, garage kept. I love it.
Nothing a little gym time couldn’t fix? 😉

Sat in it once and to me it felt kinda small from the inside similar to a Z4
@Just think I never said it was a track car. A grand tourer is a lux car that can handle at a decent pace. What savage is doing is his choice but for what this car was designed to do, it's fine for the most part. The storage is my only knock. Most people just wana feel fast not actually do it
I've got an LC500 convertible on order, and have been waiting for this video for a while. Thank you for doing it!

A whole 3 years old huh?
POS Miata, the most sold 2 seater in the world. Bringing a sport car fun to the masses.
Having had a Lexus GSF, I agree with Mark on everything. The LC 500 was gonna be my next Lexus and keep forever, but COVID killed my business.

I just saw one on the road today. Me being a Lexus guy (IS 350 owner), it is my absolute dream car!
I still dream of owning a used Lexus in the future, but for now I just hate the styling and low trunk space in the RX :)
Saying that, the RX is very comfortable and quiet. It's just that the trunk is small.

I am not gone in the look of Lexus Coupe cars but they are ok in design and are extremely nice to drive but they are not pure race sports cars.

It is well made and great on longer journeys, I give them that.
I even prefer my Forester, at least it has a square usable trunk and decent AWD :)
All I want to say, I was surprised how much I hate my uncles RX. I'm a big Toyota, but not the RX. :)

If your mom went for an LC 500, in 20 years you might inherit a well-loved classic! [Mom, if you read this: it's the right thing to do!]
This is literally the best video for anyone who is looking to buy this

Up on the lift it looks like a damn spaceship. I love the design, short of the weeping headlights. Great looking car
Yeah, those crying headlights make it look like one of those dog breeds that always has gunk coming from the corners of its eyes. I'd still have to buy that beautiful yellow, though. It shows off this beautiful car best.
I work at Lexus and I drove a few LC500s, man theyre a bomb to ride!!!
Talk about the right problem to have. Congrats on the Porsche!
we were in the same boat but I went with LC. Both are good cars and enjoy with what you choose
Your German car is trash!! Seriously though they are two solutions to the same problem, porsche does everything better aside from sound. Good choice!!
You couldn't reach the pedals?
I am glad to see owners of particular cars sharing their experience. It makes it more welcoming to buy one of these cars.
To me, the LC500 has more character and soul than any BMW, Mercedes, or Audi in the segment. It feels like it never tried to copy their homework.
You are absolutely right sir!
Just a brilliant video. Mark always pinpoints the purpose of a car, and talks about it that way. The LC is just what Im looking for. Not 800hp, with no noise, and sterile, but an engaging, emotional experience. I honestly think these cars will appreciate as time goes on.
Excellent video ... I'm thinking heavily of buying one of these and selling my ES 300H
That's a massive upgrade. Do it! Life is short.
Mark I can’t tell you how much I love your car reviews. I’m always learning something, thank you
Bought a 2021 in Nightfall Mica performance pack all thanks to Mr. Goose. This video is spot on for real world ownership. Top 3 bests of the LC so far:
2 nitpicks:
I’m having trouble deciding which 100k car I should buy. Thanks for the help Savage. U da man.
Hats off to you. This car is exceptional, stunning, one of a kind, a gem!
Thank you kindly!
I had been waiting for something like this from you ever since I learned you bought it. This car is at the top of my list.
I really love that Lexus partnered with you on this, and I also love your passion for this car.
We'll both get one when they come down to the 50k range!
Mark, I really enjoy the honesty of your reviews.
You not only do car reviews but teach as well man I gotta say the detail and knowledge about the vehicles you review is top notch I appreciate the time and dedication that goes into these videos
Real talk from SG is what I live for.
One of the best reviews on the LC 500
I've looked at the LC500, I love it but out of my price range. I am, however looking to purchase an RCF next year. I am so infatuated with the 2UR V8 engine. Yamaha has done an exceptional job
This car has always looked so good and knowing that it doesn’t have fake engine noise coming from the radio… So good
I really enjoy your style and commentary - Thanks for sharing a piece of your personal life. What great insight
LC500 has been at the top of my dream car list ever since your first video about it. Truly something extremely special. Reminds me why Lexus is the best.
Hey mate, if you like Lexus reviews I've made a few of them including the LC500. If you're interested to watch let me know what you think :)
LC F is coming, just give us some time :P
Yeah Usually the extra cooling is included in the Full F cars.
@@Frost640 I've been seeing hints of a 600 HP F-Sport LC. It's coming; the question is - How much will it be?
@@davepaturno4290 traditionally, the full F cars are 20-30k more than their counterparts, I have no idea what the pricing will be but that seems to be fairly consistent. If they name it F-Sport then maybe a 10k package if it keeps the same engine but slightly tuned with an appearance change.
I just signed the papers on a 2018 performance package because of your videos. I cant wait to drive it!
I own a 2016 IS 350 F Sport it’s tuned and has exhaust/intake carbon fiber blah blah.. not a v8 but I understand why you love this vehicle for similar reasons I enjoy mine. Lexus is #1
Get black on the next one btw :) and most of the complaints you have I understand too deeply lmao still the best cars you can buy
V8 engines are the luxury engine of choice. They are extremely smooth and also offer great power.
It is a pity that governments around the world are trying to get rid of them.
Mark, please don't change. You are killing it.
I can feel the lc500 from owning a rx 450h 2017 f sport. Lexus magic 😀
Glad you bought this i admire this car for its beautiful looks along with that fruity sounding NA V8 its unique in it's own way...
And surely public on the roads must look at it and ask you about it that must be feeling of pride
Going to test drive a 2018 sport package tommorow. It was rumored lexus was going to do an f model...but canned it due to lack of sales.
