  • This is our final video of our experience at 24 Hell And Back. We had a great time. Was definitely an awesome experience. We had to wait for the other channel to do all their videos before we could put ours out. It's kind of long but I hope you guys enjoy it. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

    After watching all the installments of this epic event on multiple channels, here is an overview of what I've learned. 1) Rory put on an absolute clinic. 2) Paul showed amazing driving skill with his long wheelbase, "small" tire, low-ish ground clearance vehicle 3) Rudy needs an engine upgrade 4) Ian is all show... 5) Its tremendously entertaining watching a full race spec jeep going up a gnarly wheeling trail!

      I agree with @javman03 for the most part, but I'm not a fan of a race rig or rock hopper going up a relatively untouched trail like that. They tore up too much shit, IMO. The high horsepower rigs belong at a place like KOH, not on a trail like this.

    This performance by Rory has affirmed my decision to deal with vehicle stuck situations like he does. I no longer "give it the beans" and hope for the best. I "look for traction" and use the torque of the engine to pull me up the hill. Rory is both a great educator and teacher! His staff is also first rate, setting a very high bar for video production.

    • @brockryan3405
      @brockryan3405 7 месяцев назад +3

      I will say it again. Rory is the first Earthling to be a Jedi. He can mechanically feel and see, IN HIS MIND, what his eyes cannot. That is why TrailMater is geared exactly to stall out when it does...when the force needed is too much for the current line being taken. He then knows to back off and try a little different approach. Notice that sometimes he will stop and just heat up his tires to get the grip needed and then succeed? That is super human. He didn't win the Off-Road games because his technical approach wasn't a crowd pleaser. Merlin is a crowd pleaser and I appreciate that too.

Paul will always give it his all even tho he had small tires for this & had an Impressive finish. Feel pretty bad for all the damage to Rudy’s rig. Loved what he said about being invited because they felt he could do it. Hello Ian... who on the other hand seemed to have an attitude from jump & even tho he didn’t really drive the obstacles & only spouted his sponsors. Left a bad taste but nothing lost actually as he’s always come off that way to me. The wild card really showed him up. lol Love the Peck Brothers, glad they were there.

    I loved seeing you guys' take of the whole event. Rory definitely crushed this trail. I agree with Rory's assessment of Rudy and the Peck Brothers, and I'd add Paul to that group. The wildcard rookie guy did well, too. Marvin's rig seemed a little too nice to have on that particular trail, and the heavy-footed horsepower guys were doing more harm than good to the hillside. And I think Ian was simply outclassed by the rest of the group.

      Paul is so smart but doesn't do it as much as Rory. Paul is willing to wreck shit for the thrills while Rory has so much more patience. I watched Paul use his rocksliders (in his Taco) to overcome an obstacle, with his family on board, knowing his wheel base was not matched to the task. He laughed at the noise while they had no idea of his plan. My man crush is split.

    Rory I vote if it's a product you use and trust don't be afraid of what others think, take the sponsorship if it's offered to help you do more and grow! It's not selling your sole if you genuinely use and can recommend the product.

    How could you possibly think that you could out do someone who does this kind of playing for a living? Or that you can find an obstacle Rory hasn't seen before? I think this is a skill that can never be mastered, but Rory and his crew never stop trying. Just the collective experience of Rory, Mike and Shawn give the team the advantage. And Rory's willingness to share all of his knowledge and help everyone along the way is what makes him the GOAT. Winning is great, but having everybody you know speak highly of you is a far greater accomplishment. Thanks for the great show.
