When Rory says there is nothing good about this, you know it has to be pretty sketch. The fact he takes the wrecker down backwards and navigated the jeep down says everything about his wisdom, knowledge and experience.
All I know is that customer ended up taking up a whole lot of time I hope Rory charged them at least an arm. All jokes aside that was a great recovery like always.

This is beyond "just recovery", this is skills, experience and bravery all in one! And you do it all without swearing... in short: you guys are AWESOME! THANK YOU for filming and taking us on your hair-raising jobs while at the same time enjoying the magnificent views in Utah.

Hi Rory, I love the “ this obstacle freaks me out and makes me really anxious. So I’m going to do it in reverse”. 😂 Thanks for explaining why you do it that way. Great jobs guys. Stay safe out there. 😎🇬🇧

As I’ve gotten older I’ve had much more trouble controlling frustration so it’s really impressive how well Rory is able to take the emotion out of this recovery. Another great video showing how people are driving beyond both the capability of their rigs and their own skill set. Fortunately they have Rory to come get them out of trouble.
Yea, I'd have a lot of trouble keeping my cool with a customer that can't tell me where a rig is on such a well signed and documented trail. Rory certainly is a more patient man than me or he edited out all the swearing :).

Great scenery and great driving skill by all 3 of you guys. Great camera work too. Your videos are such a pleasure to watch I just can’t wait for the next one. Be safe.
" hey, we got our rig in trouble. Can you get us out?" Rory, where are you? " You know, it's where there's rocks and dirt and stuff... Guys, know where you are and pay attention to the signs. Like Rory said they were put up for a reason! Man, when I said on the last video, see you on your next crazy adventure little did I know! I'm gonna watch what I say in the future. Good job boys! 🤠🧑🦰🌲💪
As I sit on my couch and watch this video my first reaction was "oh I could totally drive that.". Then I remember everything I've seen Rory do and remember - oh yeah he could drive circles around me on any given day. Maybe someday we'll have the technology to truly show the steepness/sketchiness on video but until that day I'm going to take Rory's word for it.
Well i'll be damned. The trail was tough enough to get Rory nervous. Mater is one tough girl. The hop down that one obstacle.... thought would have broke something! Great footage and if my jeep was ever at risk on an obstacle, I would want Rory to spot me. One of your best vids. Keep em coming!
I gotta say that every time I watch your videos (now especially this one) I realize how very capable you and your vehicles are. Good video there Rory, good video.

I realize that this video is one year ago, but I often watch trailmater videos multiple times. There isn’t a single video where I am not impressed by the skills of Sean, Mike, and Rory as you guys take the TrailMater and jeeps in places that would make me pucker up and just hang on for dear life. The places you take your tow-truck are just amazing, and Mike does a phenomenal job of capturing the skillful driving of Rory and Sean. Amazing recovery in getting the gladiator recovered, as it appeared to be one driven from the showroom floor to a tire store to get new wheels and tires, and then out onto the trail. Mike did a great job in a vehicle he hadn’t driven before, and Sean always makes it look easy in the JK.
I loved the playing in the dunes. What's the point if you can't have a little fun in that beautiful truck! Yes, fear is healthy, and can keep you alive. What a trick backing down that obstacle! You guys are all amazing! This video kept me glued to my chair. Thanks!
Rory you put together a top recovery team for this one. You just wasted a lot of time because of the customer saying the vehicle was in a different location. Rock it Rory and team that was a late night recovery. Stay safe and enjoy.
It is truly a humbling experience when one of most seasoned off roaders in moab pays respects to one of the most difficult trails in entire country. To do these crazy obstacles down pritchett and in reverse is crazy scary. Those of you that have found earlier videos of Rory from years ago before truck became a dually… will see just how skilled he is even when truck was far less equipped for this kind of stuff. I hope you did not hit yourself on anything during the bounce. It looked both terrifying and rough on the video.
Great drama gets your pulse going just watching. Like, to see another camera showing the details of braking and peddle-work down these hair-raising inclines. Surviving this must all be due to your precision application of steering, brakes, gas? What guts and talent- you have-doing things we have never seen or imagined! Bravo ! You know " this is Good Stuff" when I end up talking to the monitor as you go down these shear cliffs! WOW!

Nice recovery fellows keep me coming I am entertained thak you peace out 🌬💨🚘
" hey, we got our rig in trouble.
Trail Mater never ceases to amaze me!
Woohoo new video
It is pure artistry to see someone so in tune with his rig to go against the norm and take a challenging obstacle backwards. Bravo!
I gotta say that every time I watch your videos (now especially this one) I realize how very capable you and your vehicles are. Good video there Rory, good video.
Love the rowdy donuts at the end ! ! Great video. 👍 Can't wait for the next adventure
😲 I bet the camera dosen't do justice but if Rory needs to tackle something in reverse you know that's steep... good recovery pitty about the misinformation 👍everything worked out in the end, go have a beer team and I'll catch you on the next one👍
That was bloody awesome Rory another job well done cheers
I loved the playing in the dunes. What's the point if you can't have a little fun in that beautiful truck! Yes, fear is healthy, and can keep you alive. What a trick backing down that obstacle! You guys are all amazing! This video kept me glued to my chair. Thanks!
Insane trail geeze
That was the sketchyest travel I ever saw you make! Great job and adventure Rory!
Rory Sean and Mike make such a great team x
Great drama gets your pulse going just watching. Like, to see another camera showing the details of braking and peddle-work down these hair-raising inclines. Surviving this must all be due to your precision application of steering, brakes, gas? What guts and talent- you have-doing things we have never seen or imagined! Bravo ! You know " this is Good Stuff" when I end up talking to the monitor as you go down these shear cliffs! WOW!
Rory you and your team do a hell of a job on your recovery’s seems you know what you are doing and do it well so keep up the good work keep the videos coming love them
New editor of the videos is crushing it. Really enjoyed the keep recovery videos as well with the multi angles w/ Picture in Picture. You. Make these recoveries look easy.
Bunny Hops at 16mins is something I have never seen, ever. You guys did a magnificent job of driving out and proving an entertaining drive.
Love watching you buggying that wrecker!!! 👍👍👍
