It’s not just your towing, but your driving, your repair work/welding/fabrication in the field all display your creative problem solving abilities are superior to most of the other channels I’ve been watching. Throw in your sense of humor. You and your team aren’t just good at what you do, but you obviously really enjoy what you’re doing. The bigger the challenge, the more you guys seem to enjoy it.
You hit the Grenade on the Pin! I completely agree, but it seems whenever someone does it right, shows doing it right, or explains it right it's like Napalm to the morons out there and they just want to watch the world burn in ignorance.
I consider your videos a privilege to watch. I am an 81 year old gear head, to have you invite me to see the most beautiful country in the US, I wish to thank you and your wonderful team.
I watch this channel, because Rory is just going to work and bringing us along. It’s not about making videos, but videoing what’s happening regardless .
No one better at picking lines than Rory. I can’t imagine anyone unsubscribing themselves intentionally. Several other channels are having the same issue. YT is up to something.
Rory your vids are the best! Short intro's, fantastic scenery, hair raising recoveries, simple trail repairs, what more could we ask for. You are living the dream, more than a few of us are living it though you. You are an authentic stand up guy and that easily comes though. Your crew is pretty awesome also!
Rory, i know this youtube stuff is a pain in the ass. I see you worked at it and have largely overcome your 'reluctance'. I'm happy that it has opened up so many opportunities for you and the team. Keep up the good work. Your numbers will take care of themselves. Even so it doesn't hurt to prod people once in a while and your fans don't mind. To me you've come from being an also ran channel to being what you have always been that took a minute to recognize. A master of what you do . Your peers look up to you. Some even 'borrow ' your ideas. Keep being rory and having fun. Don't let the weight of that trophy affect you in the slightest. Now that you've developed a sense of online personna just be you along with your team. Many would love to be on your team. Even so, i think you would thrive like you always have if this opportunity were to go away with just not do many options...
"When you wheel the hard trails, stuff always breaks." *Wheels hard trails everyday, does fixes, then rescues said broken rigs from said hard trail* Really shows how in tune with the work Rory's got that rig; not to mention maintaining it when it's due.
I'm amazed he runs stock dana 60 shaft with the crap he does. But he's said before he purposely under gears the rig so it stalls before it snaps everything. 😅
COMMENT AS REQUESTED - I remember in the last millennium I was wheeling so hard that my average monthly repair bills were more than my loan payments. I'm now more of a overlander.
Hi Rory, greetings from New Zealand, I love your relaxed format with "no in your face over dramatising crap" always hit like even before I watch! appreciate how hard it is to weld while on the trail, being an engineer.
I drove tow trucks for 30 years and have done all kinds of recoverys, but you are the king of recovery and off road genus. Keep up the great work. Leonard sweatt
Never grow tired of watching your trail fixes. I always wonder if those people have the parts replaced or just brag that they have “genuine TrailMater parts” on their rig.
Dude !!! Seriously - You and your crew Sean and Mike are the best, I never miss an episode! Your attention to problem solving on the fly is second to none. But hear this !!! You are true to your brand of video - NEVER CHANGE! We are not interested in flash video cartoon inserts and comedic attempt at corny humor, not going to mention names - they are good but they are corny cartoon, only thing missing in their video is a laugh track. You guys are having fun at what you do and your humor is natural ... real. Don't ever change - stay true as you already are.
I never comment. But I’m now going to start in an effort to help out this awesome channel... Love that these guys have stayed true and haven’t become some gross “RUclipsr” types. Who’s with me (in a loud war cry voice)? Keep on keeping on Rory. You rock.
I just said the other day in the comments that I cannot believe that Rory isn't at a million subs. In terms of content and insane recoveries there is no one else on you tube that can even come close to this channel.
Still watching liking learning ! As always thanks for sharing your highly skilled , experienced ,positive truly unique life and passion 👍🏻 best in the west !
I make time during breaks to watch all your uploads. They're usually the perfect length for a twenty minute break. Love your expertise and attitude. Keep em comin!
I'd love to have you narrate (after the fact) why you spot someone through a tough obstacle the way you do. I'm starting to learn the difference between "walking" and "crawling", but I see you moving people around where they can get traction with a front tire (like wedging the left front in a corner to go up that shelf), and guiding them to roll straight down a shelf so they don't "endo". It would be fun for those of us who watch but have never crawled. Thanks!
Remind us anytime Rory. Your teams skills at remote recovery and repair are amazing. I perform these kind of duties for the agricultural community in the Applegate Valley of southern Oregon and consider your channel as EDUCATIONAL. Keep at it, and Thank You All.
As requested a comment this time from the UK, you guys are doing a brilliant job entertaining us all on RUclips always down to earth and interesting. One of the best assets you all have is that you take everything in your stride, well done guys and keep up the great work 👍😎
This channel is real and very entertaining. It is also somewhat formative because it gives a sincere point of view on how to act in the face of difficulties and breakdowns. One of the best channels that can be seen on youtube. THANK YOU FOR YOUR DEDICATION AND WORK
I try to comment, and i always watch and like. Love Rory's crazy ideas, mikes great attitude, and shawns easy going teamwork that pulls these off time after time.
I've been watching rory since he posted his first few videos and did most of the filming himself . from that first video to this one, I'm still amazed by his wheeling skills and where he can drive and make it look effortless.
I don't know how youtube operates but you guys are doing great. Always good to watch a trail repair and some wheeling in Pritchett Canyon. Thanks for sharing.
I always take the time to comment. I enjoy all of your videos & I can't wait to see you reach a million subscribers. Thanks again for putting in the extra work to bring us along for the ride. We appreciate you & the "extra miles" you go so we can all play hard on the trails 😊✌
Another great video. That has got to be the most beautiful and challenging place to test man and machine. Before I started watching these videos I would never have believed anything with wheels could travel these places. You are certainly a big asset for those doing it with your talents for both repairing, spotting and towing the broken ones out of there.
Not watching!?!?!? man - this is the best recovery content on RUclips! I'm just 3 weeks or so behind the times. Thanks Mike, Sean and Rory for taking the time to share with everyone!
The down spike is probably due to spring and summer and people are getting outdoors and doing more stuff and camping! I hope it picks back up soon! You deserve it!!! Show the building you do on your rigs and especially the rebuild of the buggy!!! That would be awesome content!!! Thanks for sharing your story with us Rory!!! True Loyal Fans Will Be Here For You!!!
Between you Matt, Paul, and Robby; your right in there as one of my favorite channels! As far as recoveries, you are #1 in my book! I'm always anxious for the next video!
Those of us who survived Covid are catching up on home jobs, gardens, lawns, repairs etc. A lot of good drivers out there today. Good equipment too. A lot of people quit watching due the comments being crammed to the Side Bar. That has been rectified. If it's working leave it alone!
Subscribed again. And again. And keep turning on all notifications. Liked and commented here. Now back to more trail stuff with Rory, Mike and Shawn! With adventure around every turn driving their arsenal of mobile shops on wheels.
I will continue watching all of your videos. Your driving skills are top notch. Your knowledge of the Moab area is better than anyone else, no doubt. Mike and Sean are a great team, the 3 of you obviously love what you do, which is the best part of the videos. Keep having fun and I will keep watching!
Absolutely love the channel and whatever you do, I'll keep watching. My two cents about keeping/growing viewers: the recoveries are fun to watch but after a while, they might become as predictable for us to watch as they are for you to do. You want to grow the channel . . . do more builds and/or show us working on your rigs. I might pass over yet another recovery but I promise you; I never miss a video of you guys working on a project, especially if you're building a new rig.
Watch every one of these video's you guys do, hope the RUclips algorithm starts treating you better! Love you and your crew's attitude, always humble and can do. Thanks again!
Hang in there. I watch all the off road recovery guys, went to the wrecker games. You consistently provide the best material. I learn something every time. Can't wait to return to Moab again.
Hey guys, love your work. The down to earth get what you get attitude is refreshing in this day and age. NOW, IF I MAY. I have been going to suggest this for a couple of weeks now, but your spool during the video about falling numbers has spurred me into offering my 20c worth. The recoveries are great, but not the whole answer, let me explain. I loved watching the MORR wrecker and the rat rod wrecker being built, I've loved the builds and mods you guys have done. For me personally, I love all the builds, mods and solutions. You have Robbie Layton's old wrecker to build, now that's something I would love to see come together. Please give us more builds. The explanations and solutions are fantastic. When you built the 'blue' wrecker was great, the stories of trail mater are the real gems. You can only watch so many recoveries before wanting a bit more. Please take no offense, love you style
I watch a lot of your stuff on the tv, so I’ll do better to remember to comment and like on the phone after watching. Y’all are a bunch of awesome folks and I appreciate the effort that you put in to show what you do. You make an extremely tough job look so easy when we know better. Be safe and thanks for what you do!
Shooting from the hip here... My family and I are going through compounded difficult times. Life can get rough. Most people are aware of this. You guys, your recoveries, your honesty, humor, and authenticity really do help. I respect and appreciate all you do and for making a series of trials a little bit better through your craft and commitment.
I enjoy your videos for sure Sir ! They way you navigate those trails like some of them don't even exist is simply Amazing ! And the area that you get to work/play in is simply beautiful. Sean, Mike, and Yourself should be proud of that part I think ! And talking about Pride, Rory you yourself should be very proud of yourselves as a team ! Your on the trail repair is unbelievable, as well as the recoveries you do with any vehicle you set out to fetch ! I say a BIG BIG THANK YOU To All Three of You for Sharing Your Wonderful Talents and Adventures with Everyone ! ✌️❤️🙏
I just checked, I'm still subbed. I watch all your videos, however I don't always comment. I think you put out some of the best content on RUclips, every video I'm more and more impressed with your driving skill, the capability of Mater, and your recovery knowledge.
Rory’s trail repair video’s always make me happy to be a leaf-sprung peasant. Those brackets for multi link suspension just always seem to fatigue and break.
You guys are doing a great job on the videos. Yours are honest real time stuff with the good, the mistakes and your honesty. So well worth it. No BS on your stuff and that is refreshing. SSG.Bo.Retired.
Hey Rory, thanks for taking us all along! One thing that might be cool is a walkaround or dedicated couple of videos for the buggy. It's a really cool rig with what I'm sure is an equally cool story. I for one would love to see/hear it. You guys all make that trail look easy - which only demonstrates the years of experience it took you to do that. It's really a pleasure to watch these videos.
Always enjoy the recoveries, the skill and the personalities!! You all click so well as a team!!! Side note, I also share videos to friends as well, whether or not they choose to watch them is their loss if they don't
I have been recovering from back fusion (one helluva lift and suspension upgrade 🤣). Really enjoy the work you guys do and has made recovery a lot more bareable
We love watching your entire crew! Keep up on the videos. Also we watch Matt, Paul, Robby, and Chad. Enjoy you guys jabbing each other. Don’t stop doing that.
I really enjoy watching your videos! We visited out in MOAB a few years ago and went on a tour through some of these trails. It is a joy to see how well you know the obstacles and how expertly you traverse them.
I'm pretty sure that by now Mike has walked up and down every obstacle in Moab...backward. All in the name of getting the good camera shots. That some mad skills right there, lol.
Another person hit the best statement! Your teams abilities, capabilities. Pure @ cultivated talent. Experience of the team leader, Rory is an amazing all around mechanic, driver, welder, driving coach! Kudos to all three members of "Moab Motorsports"crew. Also the video editing is most excellent!
This is the only channel where I watch every video all the way through. Amazing problem solving, scenery, sense of humor, and no BS! Keep it up!!
Me too.
Between watching Rory and Ivan, I feel like I could fix anything if I put my mind to it and put in the work!
Rory, you are one of the hardest working people on RUclips! Don't ever stop. Mike and Shawn, you guys are awesome!
It’s not just your towing, but your driving, your repair work/welding/fabrication in the field all display your creative problem solving abilities are superior to most of the other channels I’ve been watching. Interrupt all you Rory. I watch every video and like them all. The content and fun between you and the guys is great.

Rory, what you do is beyond amazing! You have the best channel on RUclips! Thank you for letting us experience what you do every week.
The things that you, Rory, and your team do are impressive! Real skills displayed without ego or giant price tag builds.
I’ve always said this channel should have a MINIMUM 80% like to view ratio. Never understood why people won’t take half a second to hit that button.
Me neither. It's easy and costs nothing!
I've been subscribed for 3 years.

Amazing how you always get them fixed and out. Everything you do is about spot on. Experience does pay off !!
