    I’m not sure what’s up with the audio, I just got a new computer and the audio playback sounds way better there, than on my iPhone. I apologize for that and will try to have it fixed by the next video. Thanks!

    I always hate when people say RB is the worst hyper; they seem to forget the two twisted dumpster fires that are the Giovanola hypers (Goliath at SFMM & Titan at SFOT). They have little airtime, awful transitions, uncomfortable trains, offensive mid course break runs, and slow lifthills.

      @Gene Bone On it's own, Titan isn't horrible. The Helix into the MCBR is actually quite enjoyable, but considering that Millennium Force was built before Titan for the same price, it is hard to argue in Titan's favor. Millennium Force is nowhere near perfect, but it is sure better than Titan

    • @XGaming1
      @XGaming1 4 года назад +1

      Twisted dumpster fires??? That’s the saddest thing I’ve ever heard, Titan and Goliath are really tall and smooth and parts of them are super intense.

    • @LiamLlamaEVEC
      @LiamLlamaEVEC 4 года назад

      @@XGaming1 I was exaggerating quite a bit, and they are pretty smooth and quite intense. I'm more of an airtime lover, but I do enjoy the helixes of Goliath and Titain. They could have been worse, and frankly Giov. didn't do an awful job, but I'd MUCH rather have RB than Goliath at my home park (SFMM)

      I 100% agree with this. The reason I prefer these two over MaxxForce and Goliath is because of the length of the ride. However, since MaxxForce is supposed to be a short ride, I actually rank it above Goliath. Goliath is super action packed, and I realize space is an issue, but to me it’s not worth long wait times

    @rlmorales2000 4 года назад +1

    I agree with the intensity review of the ride. Outside the initial drop (if you go to Great America, check out Goliath, a more intense first drop), it's not extreme. But with that said, it is still an awesome ride. The openness of the ride makes you feel like you can fly right out of it. The smoothness of the ride is something that I wish more rides could duplicate. This is just such a fun ride. Maybe not up to par for the extreme rider, but still a great run time.

    World-class coaster no. However, it is still fun takes way to much criticism. I always look forward to riding it every time I go to Great America. Side note when the trims do not hit, Raging Bull is a world-class ride. I have always wanted B&M to revisit this design and take out the trims. I twister version of Shambhala would be an outstanding roller coaster.

    • @michaelflynn6242
      @michaelflynn6242 4 года назад

      @Gene Bone I have not been on Shambhala's so if you have I will take your word on it. But most people consider Shambhala the best B&M hyper under 300ft. So one 1st drop a ride does not make. Raging Bull is a fun really good ride. Not world class. Steel Vengeance, Voyage, El Toro, X2, Fury 325, Raging Bull. Which one seems out of place?

    • @michaelflynn6242
      @michaelflynn6242 4 года назад

      @Gene Bone of course there are way more world class coasters than those. I was making an analogy showing the rather large gap of quality between said coasters. If X2 is not your thing then throw in EGF instead. Like I said Raging Bull is a really good coaster, I always have a large smile on my face when I ride it. But I do not think a great drop and being one of a kind make you automatically a world class coaster.

Ever since Kiddieland closed down I haven't been to an amusement park since then, and I was 9. 10 years later on July 2019. I went to Six Flags, and I went all out! No fear, no quits, no backouts.

  • @benmiller537

    My first time on Raging Bull a friend told me the best seats are on the right hand side so that you get to dangle freely over the first turnaround due to the triangular lap restraints.
    He was right...
    Except my restraint popped loose during the climb. Suddenly I found myself with about 3-4 inches of clearance where my skinny ass could literally slide out of my seat. I frantically tried to push it back down hoping it would lock like a ratchet if I could just get it a bit lower.
    Instead of free arm dangling over the ledge of that first turnaround, I was holding on to that triangle for dear life. It wasn't until the bottom of the second drop that it locked, tighter on my lap finally.

    At 6:21 the building to the right with black on the windows is the teacups, not your ordinary ones though... they’re called terror twister two. They have music in them shaking the whole building and its soo loud. Theres fog, led lights, strobe lights, etc. its soooo fun you need to do it if you’re at Six Flags Great America fright fest!! I have videos of it on my channel, not self-promotion, just to show what the experience is like. The videos are on 8/11 of the cycles. Thanks for your time!

    I am with those who like the twists and turns rather than hills you would find on other roller coasters like Diamondback at Kings Island. This is actually my favorite B&M hyper/mega coaster. So far the other three I've ridden are Mako at SeaWorld Orlando (my second favorite), Diamondback (my third favorite) and Apollo's Chariot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg (my least favorite but still a great ride (don't get me wrong)). It's also my third favorite coaster in the park behind X-Flight and Goliath.

    Every time I go to this park, I say that I’m going to ride this roller coaster but I always chicken out at the last minute. I’m still trying to get over my fears of roller coasters but I do have a question. Do you feel the drop when you go on this roller coaster? I don’t like that feeling that you get in your stomach

    • @DestinationThrills
      @DestinationThrills  4 года назад +2

      I always recommend the front seat for those who don’t like the stomach drop sensation as you feel it much less than in the back row. First drop definitely gives you a bit of that sensation.
      How I got over my fear of the stomach drop sensation was to yell as loud as possible when you are dropping. I used to contain all that fear in which made the experience horrible but yelling gives you this release and it usually kicks in this mind numbing adrenaline rush!! I still use this trick on drop towers 😅😅
      This is how I got over my fear at 16 and I used to avoid the stomach drop sensation, but now I crave it!
      Hope this helps!!

    Would solve a lot of problems if they reengineered that floater hill in to a flojector hill or a true floater they feel they can run safely maybe one with less height, and the following wave turn-type element into a true airtime moment as well. The rest of the layout can honestly stay.

    I 100% disagree with your opinion on the first camelback. I found it to have insane floater air when I rode the ride. I was floating for 4 seconds long. It was an amazing airtime moment in my opinion. Also I have a similar story to raging bull on my first ride. It was 2015 and I was 8 years old and I saw the ride and was freaked the fuck out. I wasn’t quite tall enough but I was only 0.2 inches short so the operator threw me a bone (he was a really nice old guy) and let me ride. When I rode it it was one of the best coaster experiences I’ve had to date. I can’t describe how that ride was. It was MASSIVE and awesome. Now today the experience isn’t as magical but I have been able to experience the ride for what it is and it is my favorite coaster to date (even over outlaw run) but still an amazing review!

  • @zacg_
    @zacg_ 4 года назад

    Not the worst but I've noticed it getting more and more love online to the point that some people are calling it one of the best so that would be silly as well. For North American B&M hypers I'd say it's the worst but still fun. It's better than most of the Morgan's and certainly better than the Giovanola hypers (which are a better comparison than traditional B&M hypers.)
    If you want to talk about the most underrated B&M hypercoaster that is Apollo's Chariot. It's smooth, beautiful, full of airtime, has the best terrain setting for any B&M hyper by far and has a few surprise moments thrown in due to the terrain.

The layout is definitely unique, which makes it enjoyable to ride, and still worth the wait after having been on the other hypers. I also prefer this to Goliath at SFMM, because this does have some pops of airtime.

    I rode that coaster a lot in the early 2000’s before moving to Florida. I think it gets way too much hate and it’s a great coaster imo

    You really cannot judge the ride properly without a night ride in the fall. It hauls so much that if you have more than two clicks between your lap and the lap bar you risk falling out. But it does get a slight rattle when it hauls.

    Why is six flags great America way better than California’s great America

    • @kevinpeterson3016

      because it is in a massive metro area between Chicago and Milwaukee allowing a massive annual attendance, that made it become a top tier park. meanwhile CGA is in a cluttered san fran area with Discovery Kingdom in the area and less than favorable travelers because disney universal and magic mountain are 5 hours south

    Worst hyper? Definitely not. New York Apple Coaster is a hyper, that one is easily the worst. Worst B&M Hyper? Mayyyyyybe? I could see Intimidator at Carowinds being worse.

    This is my home park and raging bull is the coaster I rode the most among any coaster in the world. They open now until the end of december and I'm not sure if its just the cold but this coaster seem alot more intense than riding it on summer time.

    • @DestinationThrills
      @DestinationThrills  4 года назад

      Interesting! I haven’t ridden it in colder weather (unless you consider 50’s cold lol).

      @@DestinationThrills i went on a really cold night last december, 29 degrees! there was no lines obviously. Just wear your ski gear. You should try it next winterfest. It was quite an experience.

    I feel like people have been a lot more forgiving of raging bull over the past couple of years. Growing up every coaster enthusiast talked so much trash about it, but in recent years I’ve started to see a lot more people (especially influncers) actually recognize rb as a pretty fun coaster.

    I really like this roller coaster but this video kind of sucks the life out of it. I don’t think this video does the cost her any justice because of the perspective presented. It’s a good ride though, I wouldn’t miss it even with the family style modifications that it has gone through.
