i just to clarify this question. what if i have a 2nd sd card which is new, i formatted it to fat32, do i still need the other folders from the first sd card? or could i just create a new ROMS folder on the newly formatted sd card?

Yes you can. GarlicOS will look for a ROMs folder on both cards and will display the games on both. If you have the same games on both cards you'll see duplicate entries, so if you set it up the way you described you should be good 👍
is there a way to check if my 2nd sd slot working or not? coz i did everything correct (i think i did) but still nothing is showing upppp but when i put back all the file in the 1st card all working properly
I was able to see basically copies of the consoles in my console tab. I didn't want to combine them just yet since I am not 100% comfortable on it, but I am seeing duplicate consoles not side by side, but when you scroll. hope that helped.
You can pretty much use a 512gb to fill up with full rom sets with aĺl the emulators on garlic minus the mame. Those are a bit harder because some work some don't.
Even though I like to keep my collection on the smaller side I still like to contemplate how my 10 year old brain would have exploded with excitement at the thought that one day you would be able to play every game for the Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis on a device that would fit in your pocket.
my 1st TF card is garlic OS 128 gb with partition of 60gb and the 2nd tf card is stock OS with games.. can i copy past my stock os games to my 1st SD card garlic os?
Most definitely you can copy the roms over to Garlic. Just be sure that you get them into the correct folders on the GarlicOS card. It uses the same folder structure as OnionOS so you can use this reference to identify which roms should go where: github.com/OnionUI/Onion/wiki/Emulators#rom-folders---quick-reference Also, be aware that many of the arcade roms from the stock OS won't work on Garlic. This is because Garlic uses MAME2003 instead of MAME2000. So you would need to get a romset that works with the newer version.
Yes, that would be ideal. Both the ROM and save folders should be on card 2. If card 2 is set up correctly that is where GarlicOS will look for and store saves. You can store ROMs on both cards, but if they are just copies of each other you will get duplicate game entries in the consoles menu.
When I connect my sd card to my computer it only shows USB Drive E instead of showing the partitions such as ROMS etc. Can anyone help me why is this happening?

Hi There, Just to verify... SD2 is formatted to FAT32? And also you copied your roms directory exactly as it is from SD1 to SD2? If yes to both, maybe trying a different SD card as your planning will fix the issue. Hope all goes well and that gets it working for you :)
