@@wholefoodplantbasedcookingshow Sometimes its easiest to find a good base and then just adjust to taste. I love to use your garlic lemon tahini dressing as a base and then add whatever I fancy for the week. Subbing half of the garlic for minced ginger, adding a little soy sauce or liquid aminos and then using orange instead of lemon was really yummy last week.

Thank you for doing all of these salad dressing recipes! My husband loves ranch dressing but since getting off of dairy he doesn't like the commercial brands anymore and I've been trying to come up with a whole food plant-based version he likes. I know you were trying to go nut free with this but we don't have any nut allergies and there's something about mixing soy milk and garlic that just doesn't taste right to me. So I substituted the seeds for cashew nuts and substituted the soy milk for Natural Nliss Plant-based Half-and-half (almond milk & coconut milk). He loved it! I really like it on kale. I pressure cooked some kale and put it in the fridge. Being lazy one day I decided to just eat it cold and then I put some of this ranch dressing on it...OMG good! Now I have this just about every day!

I would love to see a lemon poppyseed dressing💖💕Before I went vegan I used store bought dressing with cabbage for a quick and easy coleslaw, or tossed with raw broccoli, raisins, slivered carrots, & almonds. Great when chilled for a summer salad. A dupe for Applebee’s Oriental salad dressing to reduce the sugar,, or their Maple dressing they offered with sweet potato fries now discontinued ☹️ I bet it would be great on a sweet roll, or for desserts too!😋

Wow, just the recipe I've been looking for (I'm a little late, but better late than never!). Great way to use up my hemp seeds, and ditch the added calories from too many cashews I've previously used in my ranch dressings. My husband and I have chronic pain and as an Asian, I don't want to become pre-diabetic again so I'll skip the raisins which I know will increase our inflammation. We like our dressings tart without any added sugar sources, even from dried whole fruit. We stick to whole, low sugar fruit.

we were vegetarians and two years back became vegans...we do not eat onion and garlic because according to Ayurvedhaa, green chillies, onion, garlic, etc are high powered foods and if the energy given by those are not used up each day, it gets converted to negative energy in the body and can bother our health and mood
though we like spicy foods, we stay away from chillies and use black pepper instead...almonds instead of cashews for increase of good cholesterol in the body..

I love this recipe so much. Thank you for sharing it. The first few times I made it, my husband went absolutely crazy for the salad I packed as his lunch. A few things that I’ve learned since making it so often is, adding dry mustard powder gave it a completely authentic ranch taste for me. Just added a little kick that was nice. Also, I grind the oatmeal in a coffee grinder to ensure it blends in my standard mixer. I use oat milk because it tends to be creamier and more neutral in flavor than other types of non-dairy milk. Fresh dill. This is my favorite herb. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Lastly, I do not like raisins and almost never have any. I used just a touch of pure date nectar for sweetness. As opposed to going through the work of soaking dates in place of the raisins. Thanks again. This is a recipe I will use forever.

I love your little dance upon tasting the dressing! ☺️ I would’ve done the same! I used to love love ranch dressing as a teen and throughout my 20s. I can’t believe there’s one out there that actually makes you dance! 😉 I am definitely trying this 🙏🏽

A Waldorf salad dressing & an Asian dressing are my favorites. Love fruit in salad & the crunch of a good Asian salad

Well I gave this a try, it’s very sweet. Next time I will start with no raisins, taste and adjust. And maybe use fresh garlic. I am very surprised how nice the hemp seeds make this. To be honest I did not think it would be good at all with my experience so far with no oil salad dressings. Thanks 😊

I would love to see a carrot ginger dressing. Also I just ordered replacement parts for my nutribullet from amazon, and they work perfectly!

Loving your channel. Will borrow this and sub lemon for vinegar and my homemade coconut milk (I can't find clean store bought milks. They all seem to have hidden forms of msg and multiple ingredients. I make my and freeze in ice cube trays for quick recipes). Thank you!

Love salad dressings. Just wish I liked the salad! 😀 Been plant based for almost 3 years now and still hate salads.
