1. Don't be afraid to really get in and break the product down. Heat up the product before apply. 2. Lightly apply all over the place. Layer the clay in sections to avoid clumps 3. Clay will feel stiff initially but this is essential for strong hold, it will become softer after 15-20 mins 4. You will feel hair clay in your head, if you run your hand through your hair 5. It will wash out with shampoo
Damn !!!! I recently just bought the cavalier clay and the original styling meraki. And man I’m speechless I have thick straight hair . These products are insane they allow me to create my hairstyle the exact way I want it . I’ve used a bunch of different products over 10 years and nothing comes close to these products. I no longer have to use hairspray. If you like styling your hair and have thick hair use these products you won’t regret it !!! Good shit !!!!!!!!
I swear, Joe uses so much product!!! If I use his amount, my hair is ruined, completely saturated and just not good. He doesnt even layer it, he just goes at it with a big ass scoop.
It's not fair that your hair got the perfect look after blow drying. every single product review u make is not clear enough bout the product cuz your hair is perfect anyways (even with cheap low quality product) lul
thanks for this vid! i just bought one and didn’t know how to use properly. but anyway i really like clay because it’s dry, and i like dry hair,i always have problems with like gels that aren’t dry.but clay is awasome
I don't really make comments on videos, but i have to say.. what a fantastic product this is. My new favourite clay by far! The style meraki didn't work for me at all, and that's why i was so reluctant to buy the Cavalier. But wow, blown away. Congrats!
Will there be limited packaging? I ask because I still have half a jar of Claymation and if this doesn't have a limited packaging I'll just buy it after I finish my Claymation
I would really want to see you with a classic hair style, kinda like what Ben had in the modern vs classic video you guys made way back. Why? Because my hair is insanely thick and I need tips to achieve that style and Ben has thin hair so that didn't help much
I always style my hair without any products or blow-drying and I still can do many of the hairstyles out there, just wet your hair ( if u wanna apply some cream or any sort of product that would be more nicer) and comb your hair just as u want it, wait until it dries then slightly and carefully run the comb through it again, and see the magic!
Do an updated video on which hair products are best for which type of hair? I have thick wavy hair like yours, my sides are short and the top is 3 inches ish, what should I use?
Hey joe, i have been using your cavalier clay for a about a week or so and i got to say i am quite dissapointed with the hold. The product cannot hold its own without a prestyler, when i use a prestyler it works fine and last for roughly 8 hours. I don't know if this product is intended to be used along a prestyler. Anyways I hope you see this message and improve from this feedback. Thx
hey joe, do you think you can do a video of like your top 3 go-to appropriate hairstyles for summer? appropriate as in which product and how much product to use in your hair when being in warm, hot temp and etc.
Oh my god I was wanting your clay, but I settled for Baxter of California's clay last week! RIP, I defiantly plan on getting your clay after that runs out though
i have medium lenght if hair (about 3-4 inches) Only thing I was using was hair gel.. Today I bought hair clay and I am AMAZED how good and how better it is than gel
Really wish to get the clay by you BluMaan eehh :v but im not sure if its gonna be available 28 may in singapore that quick cant wait to get my hands on some clays
You should try long hair at least once, and your hair has never been down to your chin. You should grow the top out now so it is long for the Winter! And you have covered every short style ( same with other youtubers) Like if you want him to see this.
Joe, I keep having this problem. In your tutorials, you brush all your hair to one side, then on that side you brush it back. For me, this leaves a big ball of curly hair on the back of my head that looks really funky. Any ideas on how to fix/avoid this? I have pretty thick, wavy hair.
I use hair clays for whenever I go to work and need that higher hold. I use Pomades when going out and wanting that slick and shine look. I use cremes for when I'm not going out, but I want my hair to still have a style and stay out of my face.
Joe could you make a video explaining how you get so much separated texture? We both have a very similar hair type and I've had great texture like your hair in the past. But recently I've had a problem and it hasn't been as textured as it was in the past. Would it be my hair length, how dry my hair is, how I blow dry, or the products I use? Or even another reason I'm not looking at? If you could explain in a video I would greatly appreciate it.
I have tried many hair clays. Hdf claymation was a bad experience for me, Kevin Murphy rough rider was pretty good, then ur product is the best out of all the Clays I’ve tried
I know Cavalier Clay is for guys with thick hair i tried it on my fine hair to see how it would work on my fine hair struggled just a little at the end my hair came out perfect gotta say i love Cavalier Clay thought it wasnt gonna work on my fine hair but it does
I tried this gatsby wax grey one. I felt it is almost comparable to hairbond, bed head, hanz de fuko even though it is so inexpensive/. Someone should definitely make a video of this wax. But use little as possible otherwise it becomes practically impossible to restyle the hairs since they become so hard due to strong hold effect of this wax.
Nice video Joe! Looking forward to your cavalier clay! Will buy it when it comes out. I just hope it's not super expensive like all your other products😰
Can you give some tips with clay that are difficult to remove completely, even with shampoo? And given that case, wouldn't shampooing more often reduce the overall "health" of the hair?
Thanks for tip of applying lightly in layers. Been using American Crew Fibre for couple years now but the hold is not good enough as my thick hair is growing: length = fringe touching my chin. So I've tried my first clay - Uppercut Clay. The thickness is real. You do have to heat in hands alot more. Really happy with the hold. However getting it off my hands is another story. Literally spent 10mins of Repeated soaping and scrubbing! That only removed 90%. As for removing clay from hair - 2 rounds of shampoo worked for me Difficulty in removing from hands means I've only used a couple of times and finding myself going back to fibre so It's just sat in my cabinet. Maybe i will only use when I have time to spare to wash off hands rather than everyday an everyday product
Hey, nice video man answered all of my questions about the new product. But, I do have very short hair and I'm not a huge fan of clays. Do you think good ol' original would be good for me?
Suppose you had shoulder length hair and you were using a clay to go for a slickback. If you were to wet your hands and run them over the top of your head (not necessarily down to the roots), would the clay lose all its hold?
So you say Cavalier Clay is designed to produce a heavy hold and is ideal for thick hair types like yours... what about if like me, you have quite fine hair that isn't nearly as thick as yours? Would it work for my hair type, or are you developing a clay that would be suitable for finer and thinner hair? Thanks in advance, and keep up the amazing work!
Hey Joe can you do a Video on how to deal with very straight hair? Because I have almost asian hair although I'm caucasian and its very hard to manage the hair not to stick out
Good for you taking the high road and still giving Hanz de Fuko props for Claymation even after they were incredibly immature and unprofessional toward you.
I am busy using Schwarskopf (spelling...) and am a bit confused. I apply it when my hair is pretty damn damp, and it takes about an hour to offer any hold. Should I apply it when it is it dry, or just apply it early morning and style it before I leave?
I wanna know how this compares to Pete and Pedro's Putty. Like obviously one is a fiber/putty and the other is a clay, but the results of this clay look really similar to what my hair looks like with P&P Putty in it.
Hi Blumaan, I just wanted to put subtitles in Portuguese in your videos because I do not understand anything you talk about and aki in Brazil has several people who accompany you And I would like you to put subtitles thank you I am your fan
1. Don't be afraid to really get in and break the product down. Heat up the product before apply.
2. Lightly apply all over the place. Layer the clay in sections to avoid clumps
3. Clay will feel stiff initially but this is essential for strong hold, it will become softer after 15-20 mins
4. You will feel hair clay in your head, if you run your hand through your hair
5. It will wash out with shampoo
Some clays are so hard to wash even with shampoo because of the wax
Lots of great info for first-time clay users! Stooooked on the release of Cavalier!
I've watched or videos.
glad to see you are safe and not hurt in the recent attack in Manchester.
Crawford Rhoderick Why tf would he be hurt? He wasn't at an Ariana Grande concert lmao
what happened??
Glad to see he doesn't go to Ariana grande concerts....
Márk Mózer it was bombed
Me too.
Damn !!!! I recently just bought the cavalier clay and the original styling meraki. And man I’m speechless I have thick straight hair . blumaan is answering the possible issues we can face whilst using his cavalier clay. He is being proactive.
it's not Fair that Joe's hair still looks amazing even without styled😥
name ikr
yeah mee to say that. The intro hair is better than styling hair.
name welp 100th like
lol u should watch his "In A Rush..."
his overnight hair is unbelievable
Totally ;-)
I began using BluMaan about 4 months ago. Absolutely love the products that they've created. You can't go wrong
I am LOVING these breakdowns for hair styling with certain products or styles -- great format! Keep em coming please
I ordered this product yesterday and it’s just came. I’ve just tried it out and it’s AMAZING the best hair product I have ever used.
thanks for this vid! i just bought one and didn’t know how to use properly. but anyway i really like clay because it’s dry, and i like dry hair,i always have problems with like gels that aren’t dry.but clay is awasome
i like how he angles his face throughout the video to mask the fact that one eyebrow is much smaller than the other.
Alejandro LMAO!!! 😂😂😂😂😂👀
@KrownSkull oh no ! anyways ...
Just noticed, funny but nobody is perfect.
Thank you for this upload. I just started using hair clay a little while ago and this really helps!
I don't really make comments on videos, but i have to say.. what a fantastic product this is. My new favourite clay by far! The style meraki didn't work for me at all, and that's why i was so reluctant to buy the Cavalier. But wow, blown away. Congrats!
Feelable on your fingers! I'm jumping on that cav clay! Original is amazing for my hair! THANKS JOE
Thanks for sharing this video on my birthday. Really like you man!
Omg your hair looks great with this clay. Im usually not a clay fan but this seems to be great. Great video! 👍👍👍
clay is by far my favourite hair product type
Whybbud
Just got the cavalier so thanks for the help 🙌
Do you recommend applying before blow drying to spread easier on damp hair? Or will the clay not all volume during hair drying process?
I started dying when he sprayed the hair spray for the super magical entrance😂😆😂😆😂😆 joe U da god
Will there be limited packaging? I ask because I still have half a jar of Claymation and if this doesn't have a limited packaging I'll just buy it after I finish my Claymation
BluMaan you are doing a great job.... Love your videos... 😍
What are some products for the 'no product in your hair' feel? Like you mentioned in the video.
Very useful video! Now i know what should i do with the clay
Can't wait for the release man. Bought the pomade and original so far
Joe the type to style his hair perfectly just before he goes to the barber
All that Cavalier clay in the background lol And hey Joe.....seph! My name is Joe.....seph!
I would really want to see you with a classic hair style, kinda like what Ben had in the modern vs classic video you guys made way back. Why? Because my hair is insanely thick and I need tips to achieve that style and Ben has thin hair so that didn't help much
PLEASE DO A VIDEO ON HOW TO HAIRSTYLE WITHOUT ANY OF THE PRODUCTS
IT WILL SURE BE EASY
I always style my hair without any products or blow-drying and I still can do many of the hairstyles out there, just wet your hair ( if u wanna apply some cream or any sort of product that would be more nicer) and comb your hair just as u want it, wait until it dries then slightly and carefully run the comb through it again, and see the magic!
Blow-dry it into the position you want to... Done
Pepa Happypepik but still it feels unhealthy and not good for my hair
Make sure to use conditioner, and blow-dry on cold air. Or maybe buy some oils that don't affect the hairstyle in any way.
It's 4.5 inches
It is amazing how much a good pre styler helps
Song name in the background?! Don't see it in the description :P
Do an updated video on which hair products are best for which type of hair? I have thick wavy hair like yours, my sides are short and the top is 3 inches ish, what should I use?
AAYYYYEEEE I have this product now I know how to use it thank u Joe👌👉
Informative. I just like to see what you will do next. Your hair has become thicker too.
Hey joe, i have been using your cavalier clay for a about a week or so and i got to say i am quite dissapointed with the hold. Thx
I want to buy suavecito. My stylist used it on my hair today and it looked and felt great
What kind of hairstyle is that, it's super good
Dammit you're in my top 3 favorite youtubers since you started your channel 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻😹
hey joe, do you think you can do a video of like your top 3 go-to appropriate hairstyles for summer? appropriate as in which product and how much product to use in your hair when being in warm, hot temp and etc.
Oh my god I was wanting your clay, but I settled for Baxter of California's clay last week! RIP, I defiantly plan on getting your clay after that runs out though

Really wish to get the clay by you BluMaan eehh :v but im not sure if its gonna be available 28 may in singapore that quick cant wait to get my hands on some clays
You gonna upload a video for the haircut at 1:20 and 5:57? The sides look good.
amazing work joe
Hey Joe you should totally do a hair history vid
You should try long hair at least once, and your hair has never been down to your chin. You should grow the top out now so it is long for the Winter! And you have covered every short style ( same with other youtubers) Like if you want him to see this.
Jamie Davison Watch his older videos, he had pretty long hair.
but with long sides
ich watch his Kevin Murphy Rough Rider review
Bull Hermen wow a quick-witted one over here
Jamie Davison his hair is long
I've been using P&P Putty which is super stiff so I switched to their Clay and it's a lot softer but still has a somewhat stiff hold.
Awesome but the hair clay is old news, when is the blumaan shampoo and conditioner launching?
Will the design eventually include something cool like the rhino? A lion with cool hair would be awesome and match up with the color scheme you have.
Can't wait for the Cavalier clay!! love your products
Did you use a Pre-Styler, after you wet your hair - before applying the clay?
Saami Ahmed it would be easier with a pre styler and it would last longer throughout the day
GamingTommeh Thanks, I wanted to make sure the use of a Pre-Styler would result in the best finish.
Saami Ahmed I use cheese
That's lit! It comes out on my birthday😊
Joe, I keep having this problem. In your tutorials, you brush all your hair to one side, then on that side you brush it back. For me, this leaves a big ball of curly hair on the back of my head that looks really funky. Any ideas on how to fix/avoid this? I have pretty thick, wavy hair.
Nice video as always! And YESSS, CLAYS!
Really exited for this !
Congrats
OMG I was using hair clay the wrong way thanks this video is very helpful
As stiff as clay can be, it washes out surprisingly easy.
Joe what is the best hair style and products for straight, fine, and thin hair?
Do more hairstyles videos like how to's!!! Love what u do keep on doing what u doing it's nice!!
I use hair clays for whenever I go to work and need that higher hold. I use Pomades when going out and wanting that slick and shine look. I use cremes for when I'm not going out, but I want my hair to still have a style and stay out of my face.
So you shampoo your hair almost everyday? Clay is so hard to clean off without shampoo.
Been using it for 5 years and still loving
There are many different clays of blumaan but which is the best and what is the difference between the clays
NOOOO I JUST BOUGHT CLAYMATION
Tim Wong I just bought it too, and honestly its not even that great. I find big sexy hair clay better and its the same price
Jesus Diaz pfft says you. you must have super thin hair
Andes so?
legit hair goals 💯

I have tried many hair clays. Hdf claymation was a bad experience for me, Kevin Murphy rough rider was pretty good, then ur product is the best out of all the Clays I’ve tried
dope cant wait been wanting to try a clay
Looks like a nice product, would it work for thin hair? If not what would you recommend? I'm looking for a medium/strong hold with a matte finish.
I know Cavalier Clay is for guys with thick hair i tried it on my fine hair to see how it would work on my fine hair struggled just a little at the end my hair came out perfect gotta say i love Cavalier Clay thought it wasnt gonna work on my fine hair but it does
Joe, try GATSBY wax, the grey colour one. And make a share after using. Let me know.
Just ordered me +2 of the new hair clay. Works great for my hair type!
Blumaan which is your favourite hair product in your own products and if cavalier clay can work with thin hair?
I'm curious as to why you have to apply differently as opposed to doing it mainly in the roots.
Nice video Joe! Looking forward to your cavalier clay! Will buy it when it comes out. I just hope it's not super expensive like all your other products😰
Joe, whats the difference between Cavalier clay and the rest of the products available on the market? Anything special?
🙌🏻
Can you give some tips with clay that are difficult to remove completely, even with shampoo? And given that case, wouldn't shampooing more often reduce the overall "health" of the hair?

Can't wait buy the clay !!
good job dude what is your hairstyle name i want hair cut like u
Did you use a pre-styler before applying the clay or did you just blow dry it and style it with nothing in it?

Would it work for my hair type, or are you developing a clay that would be suitable for finer and thinner hair? Thanks in advance, and keep up the amazing work!
it works best on thicker hair... a different clay is in the works for thinner hair but doesn't have a set time yet!
BluMaan Thank you so much! I'll look forward to it.
Hey Joe can you do a Video on how to deal with very straight hair? Because I have almost asian hair although I'm caucasian and its very hard to manage the hair not to stick out
awesome product. good job 👌👌👌
Good for you taking the high road and still giving Hanz de Fuko props for Claymation even after they were incredibly immature and unprofessional toward you.
Joe, with a person who has thicker hair with a medium length maybe to your eyebrows, with this would you use a blow dryer?
So glad you've made a clay, is it scented like your other products?
Are you ever gonna make the Blumaan merch t-shirt available again? I wanted one but I wasn't able to get it in the allotted time.
can't wait to get your clay!
I am busy using Schwarskopf (spelling...) and am a bit confused. I apply it when my hair is pretty damn damp, and it takes about an hour to offer any hold. Should I apply it when it is it dry, or just apply it early morning and style it before I leave?
About ur original blumaan wax. Can u put in on everyday??
Hi Joe Im looking how to my highlights but I'm not sure what I should tell my hairdresser
I have think wavy Asian hair, should I use Meraki or this Clay? I’m trying to get a high-top look with texture on it
I wanna know how this compares to Pete and Pedro's Putty.
Does Blumaan ship anywhere apart from England?
