    The video is very informative and interesting to watch. However, shouldn't the axle shaft seals be replaced when the axle shaft is removed to be worked on?

      Yes, it is advisable to replace the oil seals.

    Mine does not have the thruswasher and plastic bushing at 9:02. Is that normal or are there joints being used without them at all.

      In general, the replacement will be similar, the only thing is that it may differ slightly is the design features of your car. More precise information can be obtained in the technical documentation for the car or by contacting car service

    what is the 'gear like' ring on outer body of CV joint that my car has?

    • @autodocuk
      @autodocuk  15 дней назад +1

      The anti-lock braking system (ABS) sensor reads the wheel speed from this ring, this ring plays an important role in the operation of the car's ABS system.

    Of all the years I spent at school & then onto University & even at an Advanced Aviation College I never ever recall a single tutor standing in front of me & merely playing bloody pathetic music & without uttering a single damn word!! Rest assured this is not the way to impart knowledge onto any body to learn. If it was why aren't all of the worlds learning facilities using & teaching this method??? It's easy actually because its no bloody good & it doesn't work for most people!! Might work for some, certainly doesn't work in Aviation whereby safety is of absolute & prime importance!! When I'm sitting on the flight deck as the OIC (left seat) I don't want to hear music coming from my 2IC (right seat) everytime I want to ask him something!! If he was like that I would have had him removed forthwith as being a real danger to the well being & safety of the flight!! Fortunately idiots don't usually hang around for long in the cockpit if they don't have good communication skills. Good interaction with other people around you is called good people to people skills & its archieved via the tongue, the ears & your bloody hearing!! Music has no part in it for most things. I acknowledge of course the exceptions with regards to learning & playing music itself but we will not go down that road here!! UNDERSTANDEE DE ENGLISHEE???? As regards to this particular video??? Sadly I never learnt a bloody thing & I'm not that thick!!

    Not everyone has a CV joint puller on hand....so not a very useful video unless you show alternative methods of removing the joint from the shaft.

      Don't go doing cv joints without a puller. They're cheap enough

    Technically this video is OK but the music was ratshit!! We have a set of eyes & a set of ears but as there was no verbal audio attached to this video (spoken word) its a bit like listening to a stereo whereby one of the channels/speakers is u/s!! We can learn twice as much & within a far shorter time frame if we utilse both our eyes & our ears at the same time!! Just ask a person who is hearing impaired & I bet they won't rave on & merely say that verbal/audio is not needed!! (yeah right) When at university I do not recall any single tutor using only video, pictures or whatever & without any verbal or audio input of expressions!! Even the type of music played in this particular video is not right as it more or less forces the sound onto you & whereby the focus of this video should rightly be on what is being taught with no emphasis being attached to some shithouse music & consequently I never watched the conclusion of this tutorial as it was really of no bloody use to me!! There are things within this video that really need to be spoken about (verbal expressions) & to consider using ratshit music to take its place doesn't really endear me to want to go down this particular learning curve because of its severe restrictions!! I wouldn't bother applying for a job at a learning institute as they'll just laugh at your application, they want proper tutors who have the ability to simply "speakee de englishee" UNDERSTANDEE??? When it comes to learning the important factor is, we learn best using BOTH OUR EYES & OUR EARS!!
