I cannot agree more! I would eventually like to move away from the Apple "ecosystem" but, all devices seamlessly work so well together for my business. So, I carry a second phone just for "fun." I wish Samsung or Google would get their act together and work as Apple.
I have used both iOS and Android. I actively develop for both. Google has it's issues, but I stick with Android for one simple reason: Freedom and customization.
Loved every second of this video, great production, very calm and informative, eye candy visuals, set design and animations, amazing job! keep it going :)
The trust issue is definitely a thing. I’d used exclusively Google/Android for years, but the latest Material You design decisions just annoyed the heck out of me, along with the abandonment of the Pixel 4 and more compact phones. I am getting older and my neurodivergent needs are getting more pronounced - I need a more stable design, which Apple does at least provide. We are lucky to live in an age where we have both options though.
I love the Google Ecosystem so much, the freedom it gives you is unmatched. You can have Sennheiser Earbuds, Samsung Phone, Pixel Watch and everything works great. Plus they really let third parties collaborate to make it way more useful
i never understood the hype around the "apple ecosystem" but this makes me want to jump into one - except, as android users, we are all already basically a step in the google ecosystem. wonderful build up to a well explained conclusion!
People misunderstand the term ecosystem. In Apple's case it is not only Apple branded products but also the millions of products where third party companies plug into the ecosystem. Apple publishes SDKs, API, business rules for the various services and accessories. The reason third parties are far more successful with Apple than Google is because Apple only orients their products to the high-end. In the case of Samsung (the most successful Android company) only about 10% of their sales are high-end products. The vast majority of Samsung users are mid to low end product buyers who are far less likely to patronize third party products. Second major difference is about R&D. Apple spends lavishly on R&D because that is where innovation comes from. In consumer products they outspend Samsung by a factor of 5. Samsung is a big spender on industrial processes for making components. That's because 3/4 of Samsung's profits come from component sales. But they make far less profit on the phone/tablet/laptop sales. A good recent example of innovation in the ecosystem by Apple is called MagSafe. Starting with all phones since 2020 Apple has MagSafe magnets on the backs of phones. From this change there are now thousands of convenient accessories for charging, batteries, wallets, stands, car mounts etc. Last year they even published this standard for Android who have named it Qi2.
It doesn't matter if Google just cancels whatever they "bring to the table" in the first place. Pixel Pass just got cancelled before *a single person* got the chance to even upgrade their Pixel. That's literally insane. And let's not forget Stadia. The Stadians were convinced Google wouldn't cancel Stadia when they invested so much into the studios and even announced more games to come. Well whoops they did end up cancelling Stadia. Google's management is embarrassing given having genuinely good software and hardware to compete with Apple. Apple is just significantly more organized as a company and that alone will take them far.
Great video! I don't usually see videos discussing about the Google Ecosystem. I am a longtime user of Apple and I can't switch that easily because of their ecosystem but thanks to this video, I am really considering switching to Google/Android.
This is an amazing and honest analysis. I'm a Google/Android person and love my Pixel and LG and Samsung devices and the connectivity with Windows PC. And I love the openness on the platform especially since I'm not an American. In arge parts of the world, Apple isn't supreme, and I'm happy about Google's work and products.

Google’s problem is definitely consistency. Whether that’s ecosystem features or features provided, it’s just not consistent. Like one app working natively, but the other requiring an app or specific devices. Also with Apple, you could still use older devices and as long as you’re running OS from 2020-2021, a lot of those ecosystem features work the same like Universal Clipboard, sidecar, airdrop, etc. Although it may require some digging to find good products at a good price, you would still receive the same experience with flagship and top of the line products.
This video is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. I almost never comment on videos, but I'm doing so now to give your channel a boost. I also liked and subbed. May your channel explode.
All i want from google's exosystem is to make it open, so any android phone, wear os wearable, chrome cast display, android tv, android tablet, chromebook(which is basically a Gentoo Linux) and Bluetooth headphones can join it. Same with all these Matter smart home stuff etc. Just an open ecosystem for anyone to get into with an immense compatability and diversity. Yeah, thats truly a dream
the Google's ecosystem is not limited to Pixel products tho, as android literally is just a forked linux kernel which can communicate with others natively, hence apart from telly, most of my home products I use in my flat comes from Samsung or Xiaomi and on the weekend I can put a chicken garlic with in my Samsung microwave and have it cooked from my watch while driving a cute girl I just met in a pub back to my flat
I think the difference between Google and apple is that Google is a software company first and and a hardware company second. Apple is equal parts a software and hardware company. Google makes most of their money off software and it's how they started anyway, so I don't blame them. But apple, from the very beginning the hardware and software were bound at the hip by one thing. Design. I will say this though. Google's slowly bringing their hardware and software and hardware closer and closer to becoming on the same level of priority as their software
This is the first video I see on this channel and I got impressed of the quality and work put into it. I´d like one video of Samsung ecosystem, please. Greetings from Arg.
Google pixels now have the feature of being a webcam for you pc! Only when comnected with a wire though. Also not sure about other andriods. Google now lets you convert your fitbit acount to a existing google account no longer needing a fitbit acount. New users will just log in with a Google acount when they download fitbit and existing will let you transfer all of your data to a Google account
Great video! just a tiny note: you can actually use your pixel as a webcam: you just need to plug it in via usb, and it works with any device as it spoof itself as a regular webcam instead of something fancy like the iphone does with macos.
Honestly the biggest turn off for Google is they like to kill off projects and never follow through. But other than that, I'm glad to see they are catching up to Apple. More competition is better for the consumers.
What an amazing video you put together, and thank you for it. I dont want the world to look at eco systems from the apple perspective, which tries to restrict you and put a wall around you. I like the google Way of giving you all you need, but happy to link up and work seamlessly when you prefer a few products from other manufacturers. I think you would have touched more on the chromebooks because they are part of the eco system. They may not have devices for professional video and photo creatior but they have enough for the everyday user who want to create video on lumafusion or edit photo on lightroom mobile or programme with VCcode on Chromebook Linux integration. Maybe that's for next time. Truely appreciate the effort, time and finance you must have put in to create this video. Loved the different colours of the google eco systems , so creative.
Congrats, your video is insanely aesthetically beautiful. Speaking about the ecosystem, I think the trust issue with Google services is definitely the main concern here, as they're famous for shutting down products (even strategic ones!). So I'd say exercise increased caution if you want to dive deep into the ecosystem
Wow just found you, and your videos look amazing! Love the back drop and your pacing of the videos, it feels similar to other tech videos, but there’s a fresh edge in it. talk about the Samsung eco system next :)

Bro the quality of this video 🤌 I am surprised how this channel has such low subscribers. Visually pleasing with wonderful information. 🎉
Its his second Channel, he‘s a german RUclipsr called iknowreview
This is the first video I see on this channel and I got impressed of the quality and work put into it. I´d like one video of Samsung ecosystem, please.
Greetings from Arg.
Aesthetics of this video is just mind-blowing
Let's get this person to at least a million subs cuz HE DESERVES IT!
This channel is so underrated.
EXTREMELY good presentation. Thank you very much. I'm thinking on getting into the Google Eco. Thank you again and keep up the good Work.
the heck, your voice sounds so good
Whoah man, this was fantastic! Great production!
This video is so top notch... Such high quality....
Damn the effort into matching colours is crazy 1:50
Best review on this topic I’ve come across thanks. I hope google sticks through their projects. They have potential
Incredibly put and visually stunning video mate
Great video! just a tiny note: you can actually use your pixel as a webcam: you just need to plug it in via usb, and it works with any device as it spoof itself as a regular webcam instead of something fancy like the iphone does with macos.
Honestly the biggest turn off for Google is they like to kill off projects and never follow through. But other than that, I'm glad to see they are catching up to Apple. More competition is better for the consumers.
I would agree but then again at least they are doing something new and not like apple who is literally just in a recycling mode. But I get your point.
The quality of this video is superb!!!
Google is that guy in your neighborhood with an upside-down pineapple
This is beautifully edited
I absolutely love the German potato accent, keep up the good work, Kilian!
This was absolutely amazing. It's what I always thought but expressed in a visually stunning video. Thanks for the amazing job!
the environment this guy is in just makes me think of some guy sitting recording a video in the middle of an ikea 😂
great video dude very informative
Samsung's ecosystem deserves a video. Its even better, has more devices and is more flexible!
videography is on a whole another level 🔥🫡
This is such a beautiful looking and well made video!!
Great video and amazing set up which, so much thought, and consideration!
Impressive production and well written video.
damn what a great video, the colours are amazing. I usually play videos then switch tabs but here was captivated.
Beautiful and incredibly helpful video. Thank you!!!
Smooth voice, informative, glad I found you. Can you do Samsung next?
Dude, wirklich auf Englisch? Großartig!
underrated channel
Was looking for a video like this for a long time ❤
Wow just found you, and your videos look amazing! Love the back drop and your pacing of the videos, it feels similar to other tech videos, but there’s a fresh edge in it. talk about the Samsung eco system next :)
