- Here's a tutorial on how to download and install 3DMARK Time Spy.
I benchmarked my EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 ULTRA and was happy with my score of 11063 with OBS Studio running as I ran the test while I was recording for this video.
Without OBS Studio running my score is 12353 and the average for this setup is 12434.

I am running 2X8 3000mhz RAM I may be able to get a slightly better score with 4X8 at 3600mhz because AMD chips are RAM hungry.

EVGA 3070FTW3 & AMD5600X, 12220 stock & 13151 with overclock. I thought my results were low? But good to see they’re in-line with what others have shared here.

@@techcontrolofficial it's weird, it made me do a firmware update and I lost some power on my 3070
The update is completely normal and part of the process because it allows the PX1 software to communicate with the card and its features with the mkt stable performance. As far as the power decrease, this is where you can play around with the overclock settings.
I thought my score was pretty low at around 12000 (EVGA FTW3), but apparently it's alright.
Really impressed with my Legion 5 Pro (RTX 3070 mobile), 10500 for a mobile device is quite an achievement.
Hey, i see you posted a video on your benchmark. Please try OCing for your next run. You should be getting a higher graphic score.

total score: 12 316
Graphics score: 13 558
CPU score
: 8 108
and with you, it says Great with me it says: Good!
Idk why what is the difference and is this result good or not?
I am also running the same setup here in 2023 and I have to say the results are still very good even to this day.

I've gotten a total score of 12451
- 13776 for my GPU
- 8060 for my CPU
Not bad for a brand that is not as premium when compared to the likes of EVGA, ASUS ROG, Gigabyte.
i have the same spec and have score of 11794 why there is difference between the scores ??? my cpu and gpu is not overclocking ??? how to improve the score ??
Does the resolutions matter?
Why does my RTX 2080 do better overclocked and the strix version so it might be that idk and its really cold in Australia rn like 10°C unless there's another reason someone could tell me I'd like to know why
I have the same GPU and CPU as you. My score is 12715, 14271 graphics score and 7860 CPU score.
Yeah marginal differences do occur, temps, PSU, RAM frequency and number of apps and components running. That's a good score for your setup!
I press the download demo button and nothing happens
With a 13700k I got a 19k CPU Score and a 15.6k GPU Score with a Gigabyte 3070 OC Rev 1.0
My sapphire nitro + 6700xt gets 13,128 for its graphics score I also have it paired with the 5600x
My 6700xt red devil 13517 6700xt is a beast

RTX 3080M 165W TDP 13207. I know i can get up to 13500 if i tweak it so perfect but itll crash on every actual game.

Can you elaborate on that? The lines on the screen while benchmarking are choppy? Are you able to send a screenshot?

btw my best score was 22300 gpu 6900xt and around 16000 cpu 5950x for overall score of 20800

I have a Ryzen 7 1700 , a RTX 3070 and 16 GB of Ram . My combined score is 13 501 . My graphics score is 15 141 and CPU score is 8367 . Actually pretty happy with it. Considering that a 3070ti gets 15 700 graphics score :D
U overclocked ur card?
@@Spinnerpor yes , it has a 150 MHz Core clock and 1100 Mhz memory clock . So 2150 core and 8100 memory.
PS. CPU is overclocked to 3,9 Ghz and my Ram is overclocked to 3200 CL16

wow, what OC on the 3070?? you just barely beat out my 9900k w 170 base clock and 45 met (got the two confused from new Evga software used to msi) but now Ive adjusted it. wow though, nice.

3070 mobile, Legion 7i, 11800H, 11198 - I am just really surprised that it somehow beat a desktop one and I can only put it down to the 2 extra CPU cores.
1344 Graphics score on a 6700xt
Hey man RTX 3070 OC and i9 10850k makes 12565 points is it good?
Slightly lower than other similar setups I have seen but I wouldn't stress over it. You can try a bit of overclocking but again I wouldn't lose sleep over this.

there is gotta be something wrong with manufacturers, i got to oc my gpu in order to get 12000 points with a ryzen 5 3600 + rtx 3070, while apparently some people is getting close to 13000 without tweaking or anything

@@joshuag1795 yeah i regret buying this particular one, i've seen plenty of benchmarks for the rtx 3070, and gigabyte is below the average, i always thought zotac was the worst one, but i guess i should have made my own research
@@joshuag1795 I get 12500 with Gainward Phoenix, uv 0.975 max boost varies 1935/1950/1965. Is it a good score? Result says below average. Cpu is 5700x. 12500 is graphics score only.
My time spy score is 11, 927
Graphics score: 13 560

Yeah that's a good score. Some people overclock the CPU/GPU and RAM to get slightly higher scores but honestly these scores are subjective and different for every setup. With yuyr setup you should have no problems playing AAA games at 1080/1440 on hihh/medium and 4k on low/medium.
13500 with my 6700xt

I have the same gpu but my score is 14300
i used to have a 2080ti but have a 6900xt now. anyway your score looks really really really low for a card thats supposed to be faster than the 2080ti.
oh i just saw your other score, its better but still pretty low compared to the 2080ti
Yeah it's an average score, but you can't base the performance of the card entirely on one score. In game I notice a tremendous difference with cod set to high settings I'm getting close to 140 FPS at 1440 on a 165hz monitor. Also with video rendering and editing its faster then the 2070 super I had. Overall I'm pleased with the performance and the slight OC I do from time to time.
@@techcontrolofficial you should try some manual ram tuning. its really not as hard as it might sound. for example my kit is 3800cl 14 16 16 16 36. by just changing it to 14 15 15 15 28 and changing my trc to 48 and my trfc to 480 i saw about a 500 point jump in time spy. also 2 stick kits are better for memory overclocking, so maybe try that before buying more ram
Thanks for th info, I'm using 2 sticks of RAM as well and I'll mess around with that when I have the time. I'm currently working on my first hackintosh build.
@@techcontrolofficial i actually have a 4x8 kit which is a lot less stable than 2x8 or 2x16 kits. in cod with dlss you should be cpu bound, tighter timings well alleviate the bottleneck atleast a little

im getting only 200 points more with an i7 10700k lol
Yeah I don't fully trust these scores lol, They seem to be an estimatiom of the systems performance. I did some minor tweaks and got just above 8200 but at the end of the day I'm rendering/editing videos and I can game at very good settings at 2k, I'm not complaining.

In my opinion you both are underperforming. I have a 3700x paired probably with the worst 3070 on the market: the white dual fan Zotac (was the only one I found in stock with only 100eu more on msrp, and I have a white case so... I bought it).
I score 12700 at stock cpu and gpu settings, but after a simple tweak on my cpu (undervolted and power limit unlocked) and gpu (same undervolted/OC, power & temp limits at max and then fine tuned a mVcore curve that keep the clock at a stable 2010mhz with 0.925vcore) I score 13750, about 14500 the graphic and 10500 the cpu score and my temp and noise level are far better then stock making a dual fan 3070 almost quiet and max 68° in game.
I think you can easly achieve the same graphic score and you should score higher than 10500 cpu score even with the 10700k at stock.
