I like the idea of using the straw to help guide some spots to where you want them yo go... I would be ready to pass out after having to use the straw though lol 😂... I am going to try that technique but i think i am going to try using a hand pump that you use to blow a balloon up. 😊
I stir slow and I have a degasser. If I were to put in a mold then I would spray the mold with alcohol and then again when I have finished pouring. For tumblers I use my heat gun. Degasser is only for epoxy that has a long “play” time. I wouldn’t use it for a fast set epoxy.
@@alleycatcustomdesigns8233 thanks for the reply. I'm having so much trouble with the heat gun causing my epoxy to thin and it ends up lumpy with some bald spots. I get in and get out as I've done with other flat projects but IDK what it is, maybe a timing issue?
Hmmm. So you go over your project with the heat gun fast? Maybe put a bit of a thicker coat on it. I’m not sure what projects you work on. Also, what epoxy do you use?
Love the look, definitely gonna give this a try.

I have a question, what kind of device is this?
How do you get rid of bubbles on other projects when it matters?

@@alleycatcustomdesigns8233 I've done some boat letters (epoxy on vinyl) I'm using art resin since it's supposed to be food safe.
@@alleycatcustomdesigns8233 do you wait to go in with the heat gun or do it right away?
Your camera is way too close I can't even finish watching it but it looks like it's going to be a beautiful cup
Love the video but really long. Speed up
